NUKA RIDE 6.9.3  Big maintenance update focused mainly on Nora's Route.  Safe to update midsave.            New voice file. Uptade to Nuka Ride 6.9 - Voices 3.0   Elevenlabs voices for Billy, Travis, Connie Abernathy, Tessa, Sierra Petrovita, X6-88,  Mr. Bradberton and the three VIPs on Nora's route. Same for Isabella, Michelle, Mrs. Whitefeld and Mrs. Stevens during "Dolled Up" (Nora's Route).   Some of the Overboss voices needed to be

Hi.

Ran into a bug, I think.

Nortia route.
Cant interact w/ Overboss. On _Nukaride_Steel, stage 320 (Inside the market). No interaction name/icon on him. Clicking E does nothing.

Started previously in "Kill me Softly" at the end (talk to OB, say goodbye to OB), had to setstage through it to move forward.
I only see 2 active NR quests, "Heart of Steel" (_nukaride_steel 320)` and misc quest "I should visit my Daddy whenever I can" (I think it's _nukaride_lyons 10). When I attempted to talk to OB at the grill prior to starting _steel, couldn't interact w/ him then either. I setstaged through _lyons a bit still couldn't interact w/ OB.
I've done test saves for stopquest, resetquest, startquest (etc) for both quests and no change. Kill/disable/resetai/enable on him does nothing.
Checking some saves, the last time he was interactable was back before "the Special Girls" quest.

Anyone know of any fixes?

Try restarting the game and see if that fixes it. Sometimes FO4 bugs out.

I only see 2 active NR quests, "Heart of Steel" (_nukaride_steel 320)` and misc quest "I should visit my Daddy whenever I can" (I think it's _nukaride_lyons 10). When I attempted to talk to OB at the grill prior to starting _steel, couldn't interact w/ him then either. I setstaged through _lyons a bit still couldn't interact w/ OB.
I've done test saves for stopquest, resetquest, startquest (etc) for both quests and no change. Kill/disable/resetai/enable on him does nothing.
Checking some saves, the last time he was interactable was back before "the Special Girls" quest.

Anyone know of any fixes?

It sounds like another mod permanently blocked the Overboss. Either that, or at some point my mod blocked the Overboss and you manually skipped a stage, leaving him permanently blocked. I'm not sure if there's a console command to unblock an actor. It's called "BlockActivation" in Papyrus.

 

Some people have finished the mod from start to finish without much trouble, and since this is the first bug report I've received in years about something like this, I'm going to assume it's something specific to your setup.

Not just any one will do. It has to be the one my mod specifies. 

 

The mod should place a maid outfit in a dresser as soon as the person tells you to put it on. I suggest loading a previous save and try again to make sure.

iv been away for a long time, had some irl issues but its good to be back im going to start fresh and enjoy this mod once again. I look forward to jumping back in

thanx for the tips!!

 

ill try to reduce the mods I have and try to get Nuka ride at the bottom of the load order (with Vortext ,tricky to place modes in exact places),  to keep Nuka Ride working and test more.

 

as for Buffout newer version, im using Fallout 4 GOG / 163 version, should I still use a newer Buffout version / Buffout NG?

Yes, it should work fine.  My understanding is the GOG version is the same as the Steam version (1.10.163.0) just with the Steam DRM stripped off.  I have used BUffout 4 NG with 1.10.163.0 on Steam and it works fine, as well as Addictol 1.2.  Addictol has a few more engine fixes so you may run into problems, but Buffout 4 NG should be a drop in replacement.

That looks to be the case. Outside of Raider Pet and some settlement mods, everything else is just visuals for the MC (hair, makeup, clothes).

Everything unticked save what's in the recommendations (and even unticking some of them), still nothing.
I'll find an earlier save or start over. Oh darn 😀

 

And thank you for the wonderful mod.

Hello JB

 

After taking a brake on Fallout for a while i upgraded to Anniversary addition and all its latest mods. {Also a bottle of aspirin} I am happy to say

that i juts completed the young vault dweller with not one glitch. Thank you for all your hard work and a story that has made me smile laugh🤩😍.

And also thanks to Rohzima for accepting the request to create the massages! Not only that, but they gave me permission to include them in my mod when I upload NR7, since right now the massages are exclusive to his Patreon for a few months. So, today I'm going back to a finished new quest that was originally a black screen + messages, and change it to an AAF Scene.

And speaking of going back to change things, Darthroman has updated his animations too, and for the first time, we have animations of two women giving a man a blowjob. 😍 Before that, there was only one scene of a girl giving a guy a blowjob, while another girl was giving him a rim job (BP70 animations). 

 

 

I don't want to give dates yet, but if I finish NR7 this month I'll be over the moon. 🤞

There are new things here and there, including a new miniquest to play with Lyons and win a plushie. If I don't manage to finish NR7 this month, I at least want to upload a new miniquest where the OB teaches Norita how to smoke.

I did notice if I talk to Larsen with the maid outfit already on during the second time being his maid, that the wear maid outfit objective doesn't update. I even tried taking it off and putting it back on again. It wasn't a huge deal cause the autosave was just before talking to him.

after disabling a lot of mods, I could get around the bug for a while by not looking at the area in the new Studio, between the pink part on the right and the green part on the left..., when the camera turns to that part of the new studio it crashes..

 

but now, when the tall black dude guard (from Diamond City)  starts an animation with me in the new studio (on the left side of the new studio) it always crashes.. there's no work around (trying to avoid that area of the studio)

 

already disabled a lot of mods, turned the grafix settings to minium, updated Papyrus and the Adresse library.. but it still crashes after that animation (or before it, if I turn the camera to that area in the new studio)

 

Q > want up update xSE PluginPreloader F4, too, and saw Im u sing  xSE PluginPreloader F4 version 0.1.2.. but saw there are other / newer versions out, which version is the best for Fallout 4 - .163?

 

Q > can I just keep the other mods disabled, or do I need to uninstall and delete them completely?

ohhh thanx, ill try those out too.., dont have Addictol... saw it once, but was afraid to get it (not sure if needing it or it causing isssues.. im so clueless to modding T_T...)

About xSE PluginPreloader . . .

 

The later versions of it come with a .dll file called Winhttp.dll, earlier versions the .dll file was called IpHlpAPI.dll.

 

Why is this important you ask?

 

Well if you have any intentions of having a functional Creation Kit, you will need to install CKPE, which installs a .dll file named, you guessed it . . .winhttp.dll.

To make matters worse, they are not the same files and have different functions. One of those two mod authors was not considering the consequences of the name.

 

So probably best to install the latest version of xSEPluginPreloader that has it's .dll named  IpHlpAPI.dll.

 

If I recall correctly, Addictrol also requires xSEPluginPreloader, so the same advice goes there, too.

Just put Nuka-Ride there, and Vortex will reorder everything, including the patches, when you sort it with the "Sort It" button.

 

You don't need to delete your mods, just uninstall them and leave them uninstalled.

 

I don't have plugin preloader. Huh. Here's my mod list if you want to replicate it; I also have version 163.

Disabled is fine, your mod manager wouldn't install them in the game folder if they are disabled.

Addictol doesn't need or recommend using xSE Plugin Preloader.  This is also backed up by the fact that Addictol doesn't deliver a {dllName}_preload.txt file, which is what xSE Plugin Preloader uses to identify which plugins to preload.

You could be using the wrong version

  • French Maid FO4 (CBBE or Fusion Girl) - Very important soft requirement.❗Better if you have the version without physics. Use the .esp plugin (not .esl).
