Without an equipped weapon, the result is the same. The pistol won't equip. Oh well, it's not that important. The main thing is we kill the Poodle and the quest continues. Thanks for the help.

The save files are not being correctly stored under your current character name.  It's an engine bug that occurs when a save is made in a cell that is not correctly tagged with Location data.  Open the Load menu and press the key to show all saves (defaults to T) and you will see a ton of save files with identical counter values.

i checked but it's all fine, right after finished the quest of star-zone then back to sleep. It fixed itself somehow.   It just took me playing nonstop for 1h but still it's saved

i use generally an other method. open console -> type IN console: 

save SAVEGAMENAME  (example test1234)

for loading of this then the other ones:

load SAVEGAMENAME

this prevent a lot of game crashes on regular safe if u have an overloaded script queue

(remember that u need a new/clean savegame for game start and THEN load ure game via console)

with this method i have rescued so many "corrupt" savegames with broken script row or something.

just load and let the game run without do something for 10 min.
then safe again and try to load via regular loading.
if its crashed on loading again, same method -> start fresh/normal game -> console -> load urs -> stand around 10 min

so the script queue has time to work.. (sometimes i had games with 10k running scripts (from 380 mods), this is to much for the engine :) )

@JB. It looks like the topic info script fragments for _NukaRide_Mule are missing in the 6.9.4 archive?  It's also not in the BA2 Main.

 

$ 7z l 6.9.3g/Nuka\ Ride\ 6.9.3g.7z |grep TIF__NukaRide_Mule |wc -l
80
$ 7z l 6.9.4/Nuka\ Ride\ 6.9.4.7z |grep TIF__NukaRide_Mule |wc -l
0

 

I copied back all of the scripts from 6.9.3g and it seems to work now.

I use 1.04 ish for a more natural pitch so you can edit the number in PlayerVoiceFrequency.ini to adjust higher

During the institute experiments I am getting a frozen loading screen and no crash report, not sure if anyone else has had this issue, i am at a loss because it is hard to figure out what is wrong when the game doesn't even crash.

Check if you have AAF Bad End installed; it's used extensively here. Link on the main page

I do have it the freeze takes place after the first test completes, I should have mentioned that before

I see. When Nora finishes her scene in the chair, the next thing is Boris's test. According to my script, the mod makes a hard save. That's the only thing I can think of that could be freezing if you have a corrupted save file or any other mod that changes the save process behavior.

 

If it's frozen several times already, it's best to skip Boris's test and continue with the experiment.

 

SetStage _NukaRide_Heaven 300

 

The best time to write this is when you're on the cross and they haven't sent you to the chair yet.

 Well the console command did allow me to get past it, seems weird though I don't think I have a mod that changes saving, maybe the load fix I have is conflicting. I will do some tests later and let you know if I find a solution. maybe it helps someone else out if I do find one. thank you for your time JB 💛

I'm replaying the mission to get the other vault-girls and the dialogues with Gage befor you start the journey feel very off as Norita. Gage treats her like a slave, she has "Daddy" dialogues despite not beeing the OBs pet, there is a big cross in Nuka Cade that doesn't get used ever, and the merchant has handcuff dialogues but Norita never got handcuffed.

Also, I really would like an option to not use chems at the entrance.

It's ported from Vivi's Cockcages from Skyrim. You can write:   cqf _NukaRide_Main MakeFemboy Player

 

That should be enough. I'm not sure how my mod will behave since it's only intended for NPCs.

I see what's happening. Those dialogues are for Nora (she's the one who have handcuffs, in her route).

 

The problem is the same one that sometimes causes Norita to say "Daddy" when she should be calling him "Overboss," since he's not her bitch. Several conditions need to be set correctly. 

 

For example, Norita said "Daddy" because that dialogue was missing the condition "Overboss Bitch == 1".

 

And now Aaron is treating you like Nora because the condition "Nora == 0" was missing.

 

I've already fixed a few of those issues for the next update. I just need people to report it to me.

Am I just totally underleveled or is it intended that every enemy has a skull on the health bar (too strong for you)? Even the simplest synths.

Anyone from the Institute and the Brotherhood should be friendly after interacting with Shaun ,I'm at around level 20 at the end of a playthrough
