I don't use anything other than a couple if very specific add ons, so maybe things have changed if so i do apologise. What SLAL packs do you have installed?

Do you also have Huans "BeeingADoggy" Mod installed? Yeah, TDM, better graphics mods, esl's not clogging load order (making patches simple and bashed patches unnecessary), new world mods (that LE can't handle period), combat mods (that can't have LE versions), more assets (that won't get LE versions ever), HDT-SMP clothes/hair on NPCs as well as the player and it's fast, a plethora of animation options, can handle insane load orders and still be stable...... ? and MCM Recorder. Still have my LE setup even. ? ****** Regarding SL in AE: the windowed mode suggestion did have a slight increase in SLAL load times. The bigger improvement though was MCM Recorder as it forces you out of the MCM window. SLAL is like a really slow slug if you leave MCM on while it's doing it's thing. I timed it. About 3 minutes for a full SLAL setup (meaning all the major anim mods) when running MCM Recorder. Just about 7 if you do it manually and wait in MCM. ? Also note, the MCM Recorder time isn't just for SLAL registration. That was for ALL SL feature mods being adjusted and activated. That includes ND, Appropos, Prison Alternative, FMEA (a rather long activation process usually), SLEN and Simple Slavery. ****** Back on topic: been starting to turn on more and more ND features for testing. Can report whipping is working out as well as the fade for the whip marks. (Not sure I mentioned that before but that feature had issues in my SE setup.) Time to crawl away is still mismatched on seconds. Good news being it still works, it's just determining the right amount of crawl away time. I have it set to 2 seconds and I get a good 10 (on average it seems to vary) to get away.

On a sidenote: I am working on my own DD management mod to replace DDe which will also come with gameplay features for DD (struggle free hotkey etc.) I decided it is not worth the time to work around existing problems with other mods but instead just face them head on and do everything myself *shrug 3

Just completed a lengthy playthrough and cannot say enough. General SE users question: If I enable the better whipping scenario tab, I have to go to free camera to view as mentioned in the MCM. Whenever I do this, I lock camera in 3rd person (no zoom) 75% of the time after the scenerio is completed. My solution is to not improve the whipping. Camera still will rotate but whipping becomes inconsistent. I show the damage after and timer is correct but whipping motion is inconsistent to non-existent. Small price to pay to not have my camera lock in 3rd person all the time. I believe this is an SE issue just asking if anyone else has a similar experience. (Sorry - no papyrus log - can't get it to work regardless of how many times I follow the online instructions) 500 mods Thanks again Nymra for a great mod. Still my #1 mod.

My solution is to not improve the whipping. when camera is locked in 3rd person this is usually because an animation is played while in combat stance. this is the only known cause for me on how this happens. it COULD be that this is caused by a combat mod in your Load Order that somehow messes with the stuff. Did you try this: disable "better whipping" and still go to free camera and see if the behaviour is the same? BEcause basically all that this does is spawining invisible collission objects that prevent the whipper from getting too close to the PC (it is not an ideal solution, I m still trying to improve this but... alas...) TLDR: this cannot be connected to "Better whipping" (would be highly unlikely) but probably to the free camera itself and probaby a combat mod interfering. I am working on adding a hotkey solution for camera locking. I've been playing with ND since almost first release, switching over from Naked Dungeons (which was one of my favorites too). One of the longest installed LL mods in my setup. I play on SE and I have close to 900 mods installed, adding a ton of things (combat, quests, overhauls, animations, armors..). It's a script-heavy load order but I rarely ever crash. Now if only there could be a patch to prevent ND from firing while BaboDialogue is playing, I'd be a super happy camper.

Thing is, I check actors late and not early. Also I cannot just shut down Naked Defeat and then "guess" when babo dialogue is done with its stuff because there seems to be nothing that can tell me that. A simple Mod Event "BaboDiaStart" and "BaboDiaEnd" would suffice for me to suspend Naked Defeat features during that time. But the faction check currently provided as solution is not working for me sadly. Plus: if Babo Dialogue REQUIRES SL Defeat to be installed AND with its NPC rapes Player feature required to be enabled I consider it incompatible. Would be nice to work with @factoryclose to achieve compatibility BOTH ways, while I currently have no idea how to reliably prevent double starts from happening. Naked Defeat sends out a ModEvent "nade-Suspend" when it starts and "nade-Resume" when it ends. It also sends out the usual "DHLP suspend" which I thought LL mods use to prevent each other from fucking everything up. SL Defeat should respect that and also BaboDialogue (both could just send DHLP-suspend/resume AND listen to it and it would already work out). I already send Babo a source file for a patch to make FillHerUp compatible with Naked Defeat but was ignored. I wont say Naked Defeat is already perfect in that regard but its no use spending alot of time trying to achieve compatibility from my side while the other mod is still doing what it wants Edited July 8, 2022 by Nymra 1
