Seeing as how old this post is & for how long it's been going, are there any mods on the 1st comment (the one continuously edited by the OP) that aren't working or aren't compatible anymore?

 

I've modded a few games before, but SSE seems a bit more complicated & I don't want to have to chop my way through the whole list of mods, especially since I don't know the pitfalls of Skyrim mods by heart.

I'm not aware of any that aren't working. If you can get a Sexlab creature setup that works with one, it should work with all. I'd start with something simple like Bestial Essence. just as a test of your Sexlab/creature setup. Aroused Creatures is great too, but it takes a while to figure out its MCM.

 

However, the OP hasn't logged on for 4 1/2 months, and the list does not include some new creature-related mods.

Wanted to ask what Skyrim version seems to be the better one to mod with these type of mods ? SE, AE or LE ?

SE, 90% of the beasty mods are for it.

in the year of our lord and savior 2026 there is almost zero reason to start a modlist on LE, and the supermajority of relevant mods work on the AE executable; buy special edition, learn the basics of modding through a reputable guide like a dragonborn's fate, and then slowly weave in nsfw mods as you get more comfortable with modding in general

I was playing some Modlist and there was a mod that allowed sneaking and pressing E (or any other interaction key?) that gives an option to wild creatures

anybody have any luck getting untamed 2 to work on AE I've tried and none of the perks seem to work

I switched from SE to AE and some growth pains here and there but it was worth the upgrade, just keep in mind with mod packs, if you have a high end rig or medium (RTX 3070 +) you'll be fine, if you have a lower rig most mod packs are not going to run well on your system like they would on SE, most mods for beastiality work with AE, at least the mains ones anyways, I can't speak for quest mod since I don't use any. Use sexlab p+ as well if you switch to ae
