not sure if this is best asked here but I'm using this and the rest of Babo's mods (Defeat, Approach Redux, etc.) and I'm confused as to which exactly is causing me to be abducted by Rieklings EVERY TIME I hit 0% health, overriding any other defeat-based events

From Nemesis, I'm using Special Edition Best of both worlds patch.

Ignore it. That's a behavior file that gets run through FNIS in order to make that particular animation actually work. Nemesis and FNIS don't exactly work the same, so that's just telling you that Nemesis doesn't know what to do with that file.

I already tried to add keywords myself and broke everything. I don’t know English well, or rather, I don’t know it at all, so it’s not easy for me to figure out the program. Thanks a lot for the patch. I don't use DD, I'm fine)

There's a Synthesis patcher floating around somewhere (I'll post the link when I find it) that should be able to add the proper keywords automatically. In my experience, it's extremely accurate, and has only missed a couple of my armors. I'd advise using that and then just manually picking up whatever it misses.

*update* Found it - https://github.com/MinLL/BaboKeywordPatcher

Additionally, you can follow this to get Synthesis working https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/52942

You can do a proper check using FNIS' 7.6 (64bit) "HKC file Compatibility Check Skyrim/SSE".  It will do proper compatibility check of the animations and their Behaviors files.

Also, In SLAP 2.90 the 32bits version of "FNIS_BaboApproachRedux_Behavior.hkx" is 20KB and the 64bit is 25KB., you can check using that info.

Same problem. I just updated the mod and now every time I get my health to 0, I get kidnapped, which is messing me up, since I play with Shadow of Skyrim. I can't find any option that toggles that event.

The serial killer event is triggering but the killer keeps attacking when down. After killing him, the next npc I talk to causes the screen to fade to black. When it's done loading, I get teleported to breezehome.

Does this mod include an option to turn off enemies being invincible? Because if not, it definitely should.

Being put into a difficult fight where there are... consequences for losing is fun. It creates tension, and puts pressure on you to succeed. Being put into a literally unwinnable fight, on the other hand, makes the whole thing feel cheap. It doesn't feel like you failed, and it doesn't create that sense of tension. It just sucks.

Like, the nords surrounding the Thalmor lady for example. They're completely invulnerable to all damage, not even using console commands kills them. This is in addition to them basically oneshotting you. The random warrior accosting you on the road isn't immortal fortunately, but he always has a ludicrous amount of health and his attacks are also borderline instant death. Nightgate Inn encounter, the enemies (surprisingly) deal reasonable amounts of damage, but are all invincible. There are more, but you get the idea.

The fights being difficult is one thing, but literally unwinnable kills it for me.

No encounter from this mod is invincible in my game, at low levels they seem to be but as you get better skills, perks and weapons they become easier to beat.

That's weird. Maybe there's something in my load order that's messing with it? I'm running a few EnaiSiaion mods for example like Vokrii and Valravn. I don't see why they would make some of these enemies invincible but I can't think of what else it could be.

hi had a questions is the potion meant to do anything else then stop the wildlife from attacking you up to high Hrothgar or is it meant to start some dialog with the troll

The potion given by the guy at the base of the steps only prevents the troll from attacking you.  And if you get close enough to the troll, he'll get really friendly.

Well I feel slightly better knowing it's not just me, at least. been looking through all the options, nothing ticks that off

the expressions changing is not related to the lewdness/corruption, but what I did to change the stats was search for the setting through console "help lewdness" and then used "set <insert_mcm_setting_name_here> to <value>"

resetting quests in the MCM is what fixed the expression changing problem for me

Thank you very much! I had the same problem with facial expressions and this worked.

So, update. Turns out they may not be invincible per se, but I was more or less right anyway. During the Captured Knight encounter for example, I could deal damage to the enemies, but it would only be 12 out of their 700+ HP. Took a lot of messing with the console to figure out they were actually taking damage, just a miniscule amount.

Even with that in mind, I managed to kill one of them before going down, and it completely broke the encounter. The scene didn't even start, game completely froze up and crashed. Sooo I'm gettting the feeling that even if it is technically possible to kill some of these enemies, you REALLY are not supposed to. This would also explain why many of them are set to essential.

The console also says they don't have any special damage modifiers, but I'm thinking that's not true since no other enemy in the game currently oneshots me through my heavy armor. Especially not with an iron mace, lol.

If that's really the case then it's not good. The excitement is gone. In addition, it apparently will not work on my build with the Succubus Heart, the heart kills all sexual partners, except for unique ones, I put protection on them. This means that the scripts will not work properly. Okay, I'll try the Sexlab Approach Redux.

So far, if I meet such characters on the road, I just run away from them. Or I lure them to the guards and they kill them. It was fun, but apparently the plot of the mod does not mean such actions at all)

Does it happen to anyone else that when the animations start, the giant orcs have underpants instead of being naked?

I mean the ones that visit the character in Breezehome.

I've managed to defeat some but still get beat, when that happens a script runs which moves you into a cave... so it might have just been a skyrim sometimes just crashes issue.

As for the one shot and down, in the MCM there is a section where you can set the min/max health for event knockdown, maybe adjust where yours are set, not sure.  But at lower levels I have had the one hit and down happen, I've also occasionally run into an issue where I get a one hit and down but instead of actually going down I just have my weapons unequipped but back to full health, but that is usually when I try my luck agains the khajiit or dunmer or nord outlaw which starts with a force greet and you can just submit, or try to lie and say your afflicted or fight.

I also always do a save when I see events like the thugs with the knight, nords with the thalmor prisoner, nobel and so on.

It sounds like your version of SOS doesn't recognize their alternate race, go to the SOS MCM and change their junk will fix your issue but you have to do it on each one.

▪ Kidnap Quest: When you press the hotkey, you can select those escape ways.

What is this "Hotkey"?

I pressed each possible key on my keyboard but no luck...

Also when brought to the cave by bandits nothing happens.

The bandit just stand there while you hang, you drop on the ground eventually loot the chest and walk out (escape). Is this supposed to happen?
