I don't attach very much emotional weight to what people suggest for PW. If I feel like adding something to the mod I'll add it, otherwise it remains a request. Plus if anything's going to get me working on this, it's going to be new content, not fixing stubborn bugs that don't provide a proper backtrace.

Just a quick query - I had my girl buy a whore licence provided by SexLab Survival and then she instantly became the Public Whore. Checked her fame settings (just using that atm) and they were below recruitment level. Is this supposed to happen?

No, I haven't done anything to interact with SLS. Doesn't seem like SLS has done anything to interact with PW either. It says you're public whore in PW's status menu/there's a quota?

Did not realize Monoman had implemented that, good to know lol

If its a planned feature I eagerly await the results. Slaverun or Scent of Sex would be good mods to look at for pointers since they support npc-npc interactions quite well.

Hey! I have an idea for a little tweak: check underwear slots (ones used by devious devices and TAWOBA) for fitting the armor requirements. Right now, even if you set the rules to keep your body uncovered, you can still dress up in bikini armor with no consequences.

1) On the Fame screen, am I supposed to put a checkmark next to "Thane" or "Dragonborn?" Because it won't let me.

 

2) When it's time to become a Public Whore again, based on the built in massive sexual fame score.... what is the mechanic for that? Does a guard approach you in the town or city? Do you have to speak to the Jarl? I guess I'm I'm asking if it's a force greet or I have to talk to someone?

1)  I believe that those "checkmarks" are actually indicators.  For example, if you become the dragonborn, that "checkbox" becomes ticked.

2)  When you meet the criteria for becoming the public whore, a guard will approach you and ask you to come with him.  He'll take you to the Public Whore Thane.  Conversation ensues, your new job starts.

How does "endless mode" work?

 

The tool tip says if you leave with unreported progress, a bounty is added. Cool.

 

What happens if you report your progress an leave? No bounty, I assume. Also cool.

 

But what happens to your obligations? Is it the kind of thing that if you are required to serve (say) 15-35 clients in seven days, once the seven days are up a new period with new requirements (another 15-35) starts? And if you want to leave town and do other stuff that's fine, but it takes away time from your whore duties? But if you get them all done in, say, 4 days you have three days you can run around and adventure or whatever? And if you come back late is your time ticking?

 

... is that how it works? I guess what I'm trying to find out is: if you're in endless mode, is it at all possible to go adventuring or is the character essentially stuck doing public whoring forever?

 

Also, is it safe to switch from "endless mode" to one of the other modes during a playthrough (after you've started) or will that likely mess things up?

If working as intended, there's no specific quota, you're just PW whenever in the city, but have to report before leaving. But it would be permanent, also - no end condition

No it's not particularly safe to do so - it shouldn't let you change quota modes while public whore anyway, so if it does it's bugged

So basically, for my playthrough, if I start a game with "endless" on it means:

 

1: Once the character is public whore in a town, they're always the public whore there. No take-backs or escape via MCM, debug, or gameplay.

 

2: As long as the character reports before leaving, they're good to go adventuring. The downside of being the public whore only manifests when they return to the city.

 

3: If the character returns to a town as public whore there's no quota (though they can always solicit, of course). The danger lies in breaking the rules (turning down sex, using weapons etc), which may put the character in enforced mode (and is there a way out)?

 

4: In theory the character could end up being a public whore in every town over time.

 

I really enjoy your mod and appreciate the work that went in to it. Just trying to fine tune the settings for my next play through to suit my preferences, so I appreciate the additional info

I was messing around with Sexlab Release (forced masturbation if arousal gets too high) and I noticed that masturbating in public and drawing some spectators doesn't generate sexual fame. Not sure if its intentional though or if its something on my end.

 

EDIT: Also not sure if anyone else has had this problem but after finishing a PW quest my eligibility remains "Ineligible for 7 Days" and my Current Progress is now at -26.87 left. No matter how much time passes the guards never bother my PC again.

You should be eligible again after 7 days if its working, the -26 is a symptom of it not having a quota to display

I'm using the built-in fame function. Fame tracks normally when not using a solo animation.
It's been a lot more than seven days in Solitude. I did use the Story Intro first, but I have more than enough fame to be stopped by the guards again.

i am having the same issue; i thought it was my fault but all cities remain inelegible forever once they are completed; in my case even if forcing or clearing from the debug screen

During the Whiterun quest where i stand next to the counter, the customers just stand at the door. i disable/enable the first guy but cant get the second one to work. Howdo i fix this? Also its not detecting SLSF.

Love this mod, 10/10. However, I experienced a few problems while playing with it.

You see, I play with many, many other mods of this type. From Devious Followers, to Dark Arena, to SL Survival. However... there was a specific problem I had while playing 'that' kind of character, with this mod.

When a guard approaches you due to your fame, there is no... forcefulness to it, if you get my meaning. The guard asks you to go to the keep, and you say no, and the guard is just like "Okay... I'm going to get flogged for this but whatever." and walks off. Even if you've got like, all of the fame categories maxed out.

I understand this is normal activity for the mod. However, what is rather... annoying, is when I press 'e' or click a hundred times to skip the dialogue, if I don't sit there and wait for the guard to stop talking (Which takes for fucking ever since its fus ro doh, by the way), the guard repeats the dialogue and FOLLOWS ME EVERYWHERE I GO until I give.

I feel as though if players want to immersively become a PH, it should be an option given to them, a quest maybe once they've accumulated fame, or be forceful. This repeated dialogue is... tiresome when I'm walking through a city and my Devious follower charges by the second, and every real life second is about a minute in game.

Despite this, this mod is still stuck in my load order as a 10/10 mod. Great work on this one, love it. Hope you've got more content like this in the future (Perhaps a bounty related PH instead).

Hi. I have a problem with the last version. (1.4) After becoming PW no NPC will approach the player. Well, after a while one NPC will but after that nada, njet, nein. This is a new game also. I'm trying endless mode and all the other functions seams to work fine but no approach from NPC's. Also, this mod really needs a "timeout" function like Radiant Prostitution. You know, when approached for sex you say "lets find a quiet place" You go to the spot where to "do it" and you talk to the NPC and say "here is fine" or some such. As it is now its quite a mess, lol. Cos the whole thing is automated, you end up having sex in the middle of the street or in front of the bar in an inn. Other people quite literally stepping on you. Kind of breaks the immersion, lol. I have to say though, just love this mod. An absolute classic.

can be disabled in mcm (if it works)

no npc approaching is a bug i have often, Visio is already working on that and made good progress before his pause.

hard to compare pw with rp, because rp is ubber.  i like the direct way in pw with no lets find a place.  hey whore, how much ? 50 gold, bamm, thats all. cool

you can install sexlab privacy, a very small mod that gives you that window for find a private place and you land in the bushes between the houses in whiterun. or you can try spectator crowds, so people will applause to the sexscene on the road. but i made the experience, that the fucker will start to applause too and forget to fuck ....

Just a warning for those few, who play this in Skyrim VR, if you install SL Privacy, it overwrites scripts in Sexlab Framework and its VR patch, causing the dreaded VR spin in all SL scenes to return. I did not try to put it below SL in the load order, though, as I assumed that would break the mod, so you might try that.
