I reduced the number of animations, then rebuilt the animations on FNIS and Nemesis. Fiddled a bit with the options, I still had the same issue, the posing animations were not starting when ordered.
Then, totally by chance, I made a strange discovery, I noticed that the animation would not start as long as you had the slave npc in your crosshair, but after some seconds (4-5 seconds i would say) that you removed the crosshair from the npc, the posing animation started (i did not even need to move away from the pc, just looking away so that the crosshair was not on the npc worked).  Putting again the crosshair on the npc did not stop the posing animation, but if you wanted to change pose then the whole process would start again.

All in all, I would say it is not an immediate concern (the animations do start, even if the process if a bit slow and counter-intuitive), but I still thought it would be interesting to report this little test, since I don't know if it may be a signal for some issues or just a quirk of the new version (it may even be some kind of incompatibility with some other mod in my load order, at this point)

I had the same problem in my tests, when your crosshair is pointed at a slave she almost never triggers the animation, but when you issue a orders and move the crosshair away for 3-4 seconds it triggers, not only for dialogue, but also for making orders using the wheel's😂

Additionally, all punish types you set up in MCM now now only trigger a ‘scold’

A small problem that is consistently present in all updates. Most likely on my part because of the mod pack that radically changes all aspects of Skyrim. It consists in the fact that the slaves to whom I give alcohol through a special command "Drink this" take alcohol into their inventory but never drink it. What could be the problem? Do they do this automatically after some events or is this really a problem on my part and will it be difficult to fix something here? (All alcohol in the game has been reworked in such a way that it gives completely different buffs and debuffs, in the distant past I put mods on character intoxication and they also did not work as if the alcohol in my mod pack causes problems.

Two of the slaves I had before the 7 update now no longer appear in my crosshairs, another one I enslaved after works fine. I can see them in the MCM menu but can't interact with dialogue. I recall someone posting a fix for this, went back quite few pages but could not find it. Should I just release and enslave them again?

First identify the mod with the alcohol changes. Then we can think of a patch.

Try the reset key, it's 'k' by default. You can also hit them, sometimes they become available again after that. You can also check them under the SlaveTats menu and remove their tattoos, too mamy tattoos often is the cause of this problem. Other possible causes are SMP being overflowed or the animation queue being stuck.

There is also a question regarding the NPC traits in the game that this mod distributes, is it completely random and depends mostly on the character's race or are these traits distributed individually to unique characters and characters from the mod? I am delighted by how perfectly the character of the wounded Nordic rebel from the Citizens of Skyrim mod matches the character traits that your mod assigned to her

Traits are assigned randomly with bonus/malus from race, age, sex and occupation (merchant, bandits, ...).

 

Then there are a few characters from Whiterun hold which have fixed character traits defined in the JSON files under SKSE/... Those were defined a long time ago by @Jasmine92 (if my memory serves me well) according to the Skyrim wiki character description.

After the latest update, I have found that the DOM ESP is not registering, or not present, though the ESM is.  I can find nothing that is blocking it, though that is always possible.  Any idea what some of the common culprits are to blocking that?

Only the esm should be activated. DiaryOfMinr.esp is the old plugin name, it should not be installed. Maybe you did a merge instead of replace when installing.

 

Or are to talking about one of the addon esp? In that case, which one?

I can still have a look at their plugin. The addon is to add the new alcohol forms to the DOM form list. But you'll need to send me the plugin, because I don't want to download their 2.5 GB repository.

Well, the modpack is based on the Requiem mod. Maybe it will be enough to make a patch for Requiem

I tried Requiem with "Honningbrew mead" and "Velvet LeChance" bottles and it worked. But I didn't start a new game.

 

Next version will have more debugging information for alcohol.

I do not think I merged, but it is possible.  So I will do a complete delete, and reinstall.    The ones that are saying the esp is missing are addons.   PAH And you get a slave, PAH Home sweet home, Diary Of Mine Stories, and the Filthy Heritage DOM Add on.   They all say missing master ( this is on MO2), DiaryOfMine.esp. I did double check the load order,  all of those load after the ESM.  I wish I knew more about modding,  but unfortunately I do not.  Trying to learn.

It means you're using the wrong add-ons. Install the add-ons from DOM last. AYGAS add-on is not ready yet, deactivate it. DOM stories, you need to get the latest version. Filthy Heritage has its own addon, it needs to be updated, it's just a name change in SSEEdit.

Completely reinstalling helped,  Now it is just the addons for the Underground Bathhouse, by Andragon, DOM Stories The Choice is Yours patch,  and Filthy Heritage DOM addon.

DOM stories is out. Maybe just on Patreon, but it's public.

You can also reset them from the MCM menu. The trick is to disable enable the NPC through the console.

What's new in version 7.1.6. This is still a beta release, use 5.5 if you want stability.

  • New features:

    • DOM is now an ESM. This means you might have to check your load order after installation and restart a game or clean it with resaver.

      • Also if you use DOM Stories, you'll need to install version 1.0.71.

      • Readers means slavers and Writers means slaves. Thought slavers also have their own diaries now.

    • Added Kink tags selection menu from wheel start sex menu. Option is named "Kinky" and is made of two wheels.

      • You can add as many tags as you wish, and navigate between the two wheels.

      • Choose "Done" once all tags have been selected and you will be send back to the sex wheel menu for the last selection.

      • Selecting no tags will try to fill tags automatically from known kinks.

      • Too many tags might lead to no proper animation being found. In this case DOM will randomly select only one of the extra tags, or no extra tag or no tag at all.

    • Added recipes to make simple and enchanted collars of leashing. Enchanted collars of leashing have a slightly altered mesh. Original mesh is from ZaZ.

    • Abduction will now check for witnesses. In case of a positive line of sight, the capture will be canceled and an assault alarm will be sent. As a consequence it is important to close doors or lead the actor to some secluded place to avoid possible witnesses.

    • Slave's family members and friends will now react to accompanying player's slaves. They will force greet the player and try to settle an agreement.

      • Possible outcomes are: free the slave, pay a compensation, abduct the friend or keep the slave.

      • Trying to keep the slave might trigger an assault alarm, unless the friend is also friend with the player.

      • Once the situation is settled with a particular slave, all family members will accept the outcome.

      • Often the slave's mood will be set to shock after the situation is settled.

      • Family members will always accept a broken, loyal or in-love slave situation.

      • Player's friend will accept a slave situation if they have a low relationship with the slave.

      • Force greeting family members can also be asked for ransom.

      • Force greeting family members are reactivated after punishing the slave.

    • Actors with relationship higher than 3 (close friends and lovers) can now be tricked to follow the player in a dark place, without witnesses.

      • Dialogue saying "Follow me I need to show you something" should become available once the relationship is high enough.

      • One way to increase the relationship is to chat with the actor.

      • After tricking a friend or lover to a dark place available dialogues are "wait here" (stand still) and "surprise!" (enslave).

    • Recruiting slavers now costs less the higher the relationship. It's free for lovers.

    • Personality and feelings are now included in the diary last pages.

    • DOMPAH.esp interface for DOM7 is in. It allows to move slaves back and forth from DOM to PAH and also to ask PAH slaves to have sex with DOM slaves.

    • PAH Slave cart now works with or without PAH and with or without HSH.

      • Meet Grado, Prado's brother, next to the cart to buy the cart when HSH is not installed.

      • PAH Slave Cart now has PAH and HSH as soft dependencies.

      • Beware that there are now 2 addons for PAH SlaveCart. First is DOMSlaveCart ESL to use with DOM standalone and DOMPAHSlaveCart ESL to use with PAH+DOM.

    • HSH was revamped to work with DOM standalone. Only one addon for now DOMHSH ESP for DOM standalone, to be moved to ESL in a future release.

      • PAH will be a soft dependency but this is not implemented yet.

      • Do not install the DOMHSH patch if you want to send your slaves from PAH to HSH, as it works only for DOM to HSH.

    • DOM dependencies for developers was updated to DOM 7.1

 

  • Changes to MCM:

    • Added 3 pages in MCM: Punishment & Abuse, Equipment & Clothes, Personality.

    • Option to hide "Let's have a serious chat" dialogue for NPC or DOM actors, in "Option" tab.

    • Capture HP threshold and minimal value are now in MCM "Capture" tab.

    • Turn on or off animal, creature or undead capture in MCM "Capture" tab.

    • Family members reaction can be turn on and off in the MCM menu option tab.

    • Capture witnesses can be turned off in the MCM Capture tab.

    • Added default praise/punishment for wheel menu. Normal default praise/punishment now applies to dialogue only.

    • MCM toggles in "Abuse" tab to use DOM or default Sexlab stripping and redress anims.

 

  •  Bug corrections:

    • Corrected check for family firing too often and hogging papyrus.

    • Fixed a bug when the family relationship was set wrongly for force greeting actors.

    • After settling a situation, the room will be scanned again for other slaves and family members.

    • Corrected pose not starting if actor under crosshair.

    • Corrected an old bug where the player was teleported to the last

    • Corrected an old bug where slaves would keep their ropes after being untied.

    • Added cuffs to a few restrained pose. Namely caged and tied.

    • Good and bad slave dialogues now use default punishment types instead of "scold".

    • Corrected slaves not properly undressing before sex and redressing after.

    • Corrected get animations for 4some, because it was requiring only 3 actors.

    • Corrected 2 actors oral animation for dominant female.

    • Corrected OnEndSex event for angry mood.

    • Some bug corrections in alcohol handling.

Missing master issue kills all addons, why the change to ESM? AYGAS, TDF and HSH.

This most recent update also breaks voice packs. No slaves have any voice lines.

Could you upload the last 2 updates please? nvm found 7.07 on your patreon, all issues now sorted.

To be clear, should the scripts from AYGAS and HSH overwrite the scripts from DOM, or the other way around? I know the plugins need to load after, but I'm unsure about the loose files.

ESM makes it easier to make addons and patches.

 

Most recent always overwrite. So install pah, aygas, HSH, pah slave cart, then DOM last and overwrite everything. Do not use DOMAYGAS.esp for now. For aygas, transfer to PAH first. For HSH transfer to DOM first.

 

Remember this is a beta version. Use DOM 5.5 if you just want to play without the hassle of bug proofing.

 

Voicepacks are broken because you need to change the plugin path in sound/voices to esm instead of esp.
