No idea if this is gonna get a reply or not, but in case it does, basically, every time I try to swallow someone, it says "Rotting undead flesh is causing your stomach to spasm uncontrollably" and I immediately spit them out, any idea why this happens?

Edit: this is happening on everyone, including non-undead

Figuring I can post this up.  I spent all my free time the last couple days getting Skyrim set back up and running and this exact thing is happening for me as well.  Anytime I try to swallow a living NPC, my character immediately vomits and I get the message about rotting undead flesh.

Is it possible that this is a problem related to using Skyfurry?  Though if that was the case, it may happen when trying to eat NPCs of any custom race, since Skyfurry gets around certain issues by using the race distribution framework and replacing all characters with anthro races that way instead of just modifying the base races.

Would really appreciate the help if anyone is still working on this.

I'm having an issue that just recently started happening. I can't seem to devour items but can still devour npc's. Anyone know of a fix for this? I tried for quite a long time trouble shooting through settings and updating files manually. The only thing I haven't done is a full re-install which I would like to avoid because of extra bits with armours and clothing through body slide that took hours to get right. I'm not getting any crashes nor broken effects. Just can't devour loose items on the ground. Even when testing with debug settings, the unrestricted mode won't work. Normally it lets you devour ANYTHING but again, can only devour npc's.

EDIT: for some reason, the vore power used with the shout button doesn't work but the vore HOT KEY that you can set in MCM does work. Don't know if that is a bug or not but hey, this at least "fixes" my issue for now.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot why Devourment won't recognize these two dependencies? I downloaded the version off Nexus and have all the dependencies installed (PapyrusUtil is 4.6, MCMHelper is 1.5.0), but the MCM menu is completely empty expect for the Stats & Perks and Dependencies categories.

Hmmmm...
Hello! I'm the one who made the install video at the front.. the video that says [outdated.]

I recently released an updated installer video for the current modern version of devourment available on nexus for the current version of skyrim AE 1.6
I hope it can help.

I'm on 1.6.640 still and haven't updated. If I were to let my game update would the mod still work assuming I update dependencies?

Please do not lock this thread, people still report here. With a wealth of information.

Also, I have a near perfect devourment on 1.5.97, I installed "devourment gameplay edits", with some tweaks to the lua, for a crash free devourment playthrough. I do run into the occasional crash due to modded items my character ate. IE devious devices

Also my followers are using a sword that has the vore skill attached, so they consistently vore. its from reformation AI, in the link below.

https://www.loverslab.com/topic/188196-gherking-and-arctics-devourment-refactor-addons/.

THE WEAPON is called "the devouring line" you have to console it in. Also recommend looking at their other addons. Thank you @Gherking

Also install this older SPID version, if you can.  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36869?tab=files&file_id=245335&nmm=1

I haven't done much testing, but I think 1.5.97 devourment runs slower without it. As the newer versions of SPID are not compatible.

And thank you @QueueSD11 and everyone who contributed to this addon.

Got a bunch of questions:

1. Why is my player only doing oral vore when their locus is set to random? I get working breast vore if I manually set it to left or right breast, but the random option only ever chooses oral. Likewise with NPCs; even if I set every other vore type chance to 0%, it's still just oral vore.

2. How do I get creature animations working? The mod page shows creatures with bellies, but that doesn't happen in my game. Is it a separate addon, or did I accidentally miss something during the installation?

3. Every video I see shows the mod having primitive vore animations. Why isn't that happening for me? The only unique animation I saw was the unbirth regurgitation animation.

Been working on logic issue with init.lua for devourment. I think I am at the point where it runs fairly stable and is pretty knowledgeable about the lua part of this mod.

@1ManCheeseburgerApocalypse it looks like when you excreting something out, you have it toggle to unequip all items from that npc. There should be a toggle to turn that off. Should fix your problem.

So, playing around with Refactor, and noticed that while I can make animals my prey, none of them were taking npcs as prey, and even using the debug menu in the Devourment Settings ability, or retroendo/vore, I can't make animals take me as prey, despite the setting for creatures being enabled. Any idea what might be wrong here, or how I might be able to fix this? Everything else seems to work just fine.

I've managed to convert some ABC/MNC meshes to work with the DV Sliders. I still need to test everything in-game to make sure the different mesh paths added by MNC don't break anything, but in theory they shouldn't.

Doing that for every Creature type will take eons however, so for now I'm only going to patch the ones I get requests for. I will not be doing non-fantasy creatures.

Currently planned:
- Werewolves/Werebears

- A polishing cleanup after everything is covered.

Bonus:
- Immersive Creatures variants
- Diverse Dragons

- Maybe Demonic Creatures

I'll keep this comment updated with my progress.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This file only includes Bodyslides and they must be built before they can appear in-game. They should appear as "DV ABC Creature Name." They should now have their own grouping as well.

Most supported creatures will have two meshes to match MNC, the default and "hard/aroused" variant. Both must be built. Choose them over base Refactor if prompted.

Genitals are not moved by the sliders, as doing so would break their collision data. Just like base Refactor there will be inevitable clipping.

MNC AND ABC ARE A REQUIREMENT. SE/AE ONLY.

V1:
Covers:
- All Dragons + MNC Dragonesses
- All Giants, including Frost
- Lurkers
- Chaurus, and Chaurus Hunters
- Frostbite Spiders
- Troll/Black Troll/Uderfrykte
- Spriggan/Spriggan Matron
- Horkers
- Ash Hoppers
- Gargoyles
- Netchs

Please report if any of them are non-functional. I expect there to be bugs.

If anyone knows where to find it, or is willing to share a copy of it for me to download I'd appreciate it a lot. Thank you and have a good day all.

Don't know if this will be answered but I am on the old Devourment version for SE and I am noticing I crash when a base NPC Ahkari vores me, she is also present in the USEP but it seems to be ONLY her, not sure if this happens with other base NPCs but I can confirm it is only her, weather she is naked or clothed the game either freezes or CTD. Hoping anyone else had this issue and knows what it causes
