If you're crashing on save load or new game, then update Spell Perk Item Distributor.

Alright well that made the game load. Now I have another problem. Now all the bars appear on screen, but they don't go away, and it says "Patchup complete" and says its scanning certain plugins, and that's it. It doesn't add an MCM menu, give me the powers, etc.

Thanks for your help though, it's progress

Oh, I see! Nevermind then!

Here's the collection in that case! There's a couple add-ons in it that you may not have known of so I'd recommend you check it out just in case.

Have fun!

Thanks it looks like a great collection that will help a lot of people

Are you using MCM Helper 1.3.0? The latest version of it is meant for AE, and won't work for SE. It might be a good time to check that you're only using the SE versions for all the rest of the dependencies too; this is becoming a common problem.

The bars might also be caused by UIExtensions/SkyUI not loading since they don't have Skyrim.esm as a master file, you can either add it with xEdit or use these ones that I already did that to;

SkyUI_SE.esp UIExtensions.esp

Works just fine now ! :D

Got a question.

So in the mcm in Female Weight Morphs you can add morphs.

Can someone tell how to?

If this is happening with non-undead NPCs, then you're using an outdated version of LibFire. Try this.

LibFire.zip 808.81 kB · 28 downloads

i have the latest Libfire and this is still happening no matter what i do, also Devourment isnt detecting that i have all of the required mods installed, the mcm says most of them are missing even though i looked up guides to make sure they were all properly installed correctly and they are. I'm not sure what to do.

Sounds like you're running AE, and need to use the downgrade patcher. First use the optional one lower down in the files list, and then the full one. Don't full around with the best of both worlds one unless you're prepared to have a bad time.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618

Also, make sure only to get SE versions of mods, the AE ones obviously won't work with SE. Refactor will only be able to work with AE once ALL of its dependencies (that use a dll) have been updated.

ok i did that and i made sure my mods are all SE versions and now my game just goes to a black screen then CTD after redeploying my mods, and running fnis just to be safe, and running it through skse like normal. I'm not quite sure what i could possibly be doing wrong now or how to figure out the culprit. I have a crash log but not a clue how to read it

I have never seen a crash log like this. Where did you get it? The ones you want are in SkyrimSpecialEdition/data/netscriptframework/crash.

Have you got the SE version of SKSE? The latest one? Gave you got the latest SE version of Spell Perk Item Distributor?

So am I missing something here? I've done most of the steps to the best of my ability (minus netimmerse override due to not being for SE and being told racemenu has it by default, despite still getting the error) but the only thing that seems to work is the oral vore, the sliders and options for other types work, and they do vore things, but they don't have the weight groups change whatsoever, and no animations with It, did I mess something up in bodyslide?

you need the weight morph mod from the nexus, to build the morphs in bodyslide, to run fnis and then activate the morphs in in the mcms of both the weight morph mod and devourment refractor

So I'm a little confused. Ingame it lists Scrambled bugs and Bugfixes SSE as dependencies, but none of the download tutorials do. Are they required?

Why aren't they listed anywhere else?

They are recommended but not required. It's like it's recommended that you wear a helmet when you ride a bike but you don't actually need to wear one to make the bike work.

I see. Also, how do I make the prey struggling work? The stomach just stays completely smooth. It also instantly appears and disappears instead of gradually shrinking/growing.

When you built the devourment related stuff in bodyslide, did you activate the check box that says "build morphs?"  That will provide the tri files that skyrim needs to animate the belly.

Hey guys, so I've just downloaded Devourment Refactor, as well as all the required files. All the hard requirements are working fine, but I haven't installed Refactor just yet (I am using a downgraded Skyrim Special Edition, since most of the hard requirments either haven't been updated to the AE patch or simply don't work with it).

The male body mod I am using is SAM Light (since that's what's been ported to SSE) and most of its addons (such as clothing and armour refits, and high poly textures etc, and genital addons). My first question is, is SAM Light compatible (I'm sure it must be, cause I've seen videos of people using SAM Light with Refactor)?

My second question is about bodyslide, I saw at the end of the video tutorial a little bit about remembering to make/build your bellies, but I'm just a little confused as to how exactly it works? I know how to use and have bodyslide, but my confusion is about which things to build in terms of bellies/bodies etc. And I am assuming that the low weight is just the regular body and the high weight is how the belly/genital area will look once the character has vored something? I'm not worrying about Physics and Bounce at the momemt, I'll mess around with that kind of stuff later on.  Any explanation and help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure how it works for male characters, but for women the nude body will be replaced with a Devourment version. The devourment version has all the standard sliders, plus some extra sliders for bulging and various overweight shapes.

Since outfits don't normally have these slider options, devourment comes with a belly equip armor that only appears when you have something in your stomach. (its basically just a belly that goes on top of you armor, so you can still get the belly  growth and bulge animations.) The 0 and 100 weight is just so that the belly will fit your bodyslide properly.

When things actually get vored and the belly grows, the "vore prey belly" slider is what creates the shape.

Also having access to the devourment body means that you can add the sliders to any armor you want by using outfit studio.

So, in bodyslide, should I just build the bodies without touching the high weight sliders at all? Or should I set the high weight all the way to 100% and then build them? Sorry, I know what you mean but I'm still a little confused, if I mess around with the belly high weight sliders, will that mess up the mod or will it just give me a set shape/size when the character vores something? I know that the low sliders are the base and the high sliders (at least with regular CBBE) are the ones that actually edit the shape to the players preference.

Also, I'm just wondering about the Guardian Stones, are there stones for Devourment? If so, should I install Refactor and THEN visit the Stones and grab the buff/trait? Or can I just add vore spells/trait to my character at any point? Thanks for your help by the way!

Yeah, you should just build to your normal preset and leave all the new sliders (SSBBW WGBelly, Struggleslider1, etc)  at 0 for both high and low weight. That is your empty stomach. I think Messing with those ( for example if you moved the vore prey belly to 50%) would make it so that your belly appears to be 50% full even when its empty. I could be wrong but that's how things work when I edit other armors in bodyslide.

By default all the new devourment sliders will be at 0% so you should be fine. Your preset just makes it so that the flat stomach will conform to your body properly at any weight. The vore prey belly slider will give you a huge belly regardless of your weight once the morphs kick in.

I haven't noticed any changes to the guardian stones, but my guardian stone replacer loads after devourment so any changes would have been overwritten anyway.

I've been getting vore skill/traits by eating things, or being eaten. Start out with small things like foxes and wolves, then as your "Prey" skill tree levels up, you can start eating larger things like bandits, bears and eventually dragons.

Sorry to keep asking for help. I'm gonna have to downgrade my Skyrim SE AGAIN, due to me being a dumb dumb and trying to launch it through SKSE without Steam already being open, so it's now updating to the AE version. Ugh. Although shame on steam for not having an option to disable updates permanently. Even Origin has that feature.....the issue I'm having now is that for some reason Skyrim isn't recognising JContainers, they've worked fine up until trying to start with Refactor installed. I've re-installed them twice through Vortex and once I've downgraded again I'll try to do it manually. When I start the game, it says that Devourment files are corrupted, and tries to re-acquire them, and then it says J Containers isn't installed. I have been using the version meant for my game (downgraded version). Again, any help is appreciated.
