Thanks. I disabled nameplates and now they're in place. There's some weird lines over the models though. Do you know how I can fix that?

Ultimately you're seeing multiple layered windows and that can't be changed.

I have the same error in my log but I'm 10+ years in and now cannot progress past the certain date. Specifically: [21:42:45][pdx_gui_widget.cpp:2016]: gui/window_character.gui:898 - Property 'fontsize_min'(1810) not handled [21:42:45][pdx_gui_factory.cpp:1459]: gui/window_character.gui:886 - Error setting properties for 'player_notification' (game_button) The gui_fix mod for Carnalitas work just the one for CBO was causing the crash. I remove the gui_fix for CBO and the work fine now. Beaware if your start date is 867. By 1060+, the game performance will take a hit. As for these two issues, chances are you may have both gui_fixs activate. Only the carnalitas is needed and CBO can be ignore since the Author did update CBO for version 1.8.1. From Paradox Interactive CK3 dev diaries, look like they will release a flavor event and possibly the next expansion this year. In order word get ready for mods to be broken or worse the modders will no longer work on them anymore. Edited February 13, 2023 by sagimine1
blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 So I've downloaded the mod, unzipped it and placed the files into the mod folder, and turned on the mod in the launcher. But when I enter the game the mod does not take effect. What might be the problem here?

Are you getting an error message/checking error log? Whats the load order?
thebumpercar Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Does anyone have a copy of any of the CBO-EPE compatibility patches? I'm trying to reverse engineer a compatibility solution and need to figure out what needs to be done.
Stultus Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Odd problem... starting a new game 98% of all of the game characters are bald! Is this CBO or one of the beauty mods? CBO is nearly last in my load order, behind Carn

notwaaagga Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Could anyone create a compatch with CBO and Unpredictable Character Stories, bc the latter hast traits that change character's height, with CBO installed all chars with any height traits look like dwarwes, as seen on screenshots, char with "average stature" and "enormous" traits. Thanks in advance.

Kingskunk Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 While I do like the models and how nice my characters look naked now, the animations that comes with the make love interaction should really have a game rule choice if you want it in or not, cause as of now it just seems like a mess covered in lines that takes a massive dump on your fps. Besides the animations the mod is amazing otherwise. I just replaced the original carn_example_sex_scene file with the the original and that seems to have removed the awful animation scene that comes with it.
IonutRO Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 How does one "make them naked via the toggle in full screen barbershop"? I don't see an option for that anywhere and the FSB mod doesn't come with any damned instructions.

anonymoustoyouall Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 How would I got about stripping out the animations from the mod? I'm not interested in having animated events, but still want the body models.

Aznboy789 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 None of the characters would age. I tried everything

The thing is, you can see in bottom right corner that game is modded, but when I use ANY manually installed mod, this modded alert doesnt even show up, I tried a bunch of things, reinstalled, change the .mod and descriptor file, nothing works, but at the same time, any steam mod works perfectly, does anyone know what's the problem?

Joshuam303 Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 can someone please help me? I downloaded the megalink mod and extracted using 7zip and it is showing this on the mods list I have tried the troubleshooting stuff like clearing the launcher cache making it and read only and so fourth but it is still showing this is this the right path for the mod?
妖心病狂 Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Has anyone encountered this problem: even if both my characters are 100% fertile, it is difficult to have children between them. In my first archive, the two had no children from the age of 20 until they were 45 years old, even though I had actively let them have sex many times. In the second file, the female character did not give birth to two children until she was 40 years old. The AI-controlled characters on the map also often have no children, and I have often seen kings of other countries have no descendants. Which mods actually reduce fertility? Or is there a conflict between which mods? I have searched for a long time but couldn't find the reason, and there is no fertility-reducing content enabled in the rule settings.

If you download and unzipped the file correctly. Then there is no need to use a direct path since the game launcher should have picked the mod itself.
