The characters have black lines around their body during sex, is this working as intended or i messed up something?

Trying the outfit but the body came like this... ( top half of the clothes works and the bottom half doesnt).

There was a compatibility patch before, but it takes too much time to maintain so Mange decided not to waste time on it.

This is a limitation of the trickery needed to make the animation work, effectively it layers multiple display windows on top of one another in order to have the characters share the same space.

I'm still not sure what it is that you believe is missing, however I can confirm that CBO does not alter the existing game hairstyles, nor overwrite them in any way.

 

The only thing I can think of, is that on review of the files it does contain files for 9 custom female hairstyles, which it labels as follows in localisation for example:

 PORTRAIT_MODIFIER_custom_hair_cbo_female_hair_long_straight_02: "Long Full Hair"

 PORTRAIT_MODIFIER_custom_hair_cbo_female_hair_long_curly_01: "Long Curly Hair"

However as there's no gene file in the mod that would implement them, I can only assume these have never been put into use.

 

Presumably the 03_genes_special_accessories_hairstyles.txt file from the underlying game code could be overwritten to include them if someone wanted to test them, but ultimately they aren't missing, just never implemented, for reasons I can only guess at.

Hey, I hope this hasn't already been answered or that I'm missing something obvious but the animations in the "Make love" option doesn't line up, and the Carnal Court animation just has them sitting naked in their chairs no matter what sex act or position I select.

 

I have this load order:

Full Screen Barbershop

Carnalitas
CFP

char_body_overhaul
CBO CFP Compatibility

CBO Carnal Court

CBO Carnal Court CFP Compatible

 

I also have Carnal Consequences

Carnalitas Traits Tweaks

Physical Attributes

     &

Hey guys.

Just trying to create an EPE Compatible mod for my own use.

And in order to force some of the attirements (e.g. Byzantine Imperial clothes) to appear, it seems I have to edit .asset files in gfx\models\portraits\attachments.

However, whenever I edit the .asset files of the EPE (just like the screenshot) and run the game, it just crashes.

 

 

When I see the error.log to see what is the problem, it always ends with the following code, every single time.

 

[pdx_assert.cpp:612]: Assertion failed: Idx > -1 && Idx < GetSize()

 

As far as I understand, that 'Idx' must be 'Index', but what index does that mean?

Are there any files with an 'index' related to the models?

 

If there is anyone knows how to solve this, please let me know.

Most commonly occurs where the animations in CBO will not trigger for a character under 18, so worth checking if it is happening with just one couple or in other save games too?

 

Other than that I'd recommend testing with other mods turned off,  for example Carnal Consquences and Carnal Arousal have not been updated in some time as far as I'm aware, whilst unlikely to be the cause it's worth checking these kinds of things out simply by disabling them in your playset and testing it out.

Yeah its been in multiple saves, and all characters are adult age. I will try without those other mods later today. Thanks for the reply

You're missing the actual Character Body Overhaul mod. CBO Vanilla is a sub mod, not the base mod. You need to look in the LL download options for one that has a strange name (it's generated because it has to link externally due to file size).

Thanks for the answer. The fact is that I remember these hairstyles in the early versions of the mod and I really liked them. It looks like the author cut them out, but forgot to remove the localizer.

Although then it would be worth cutting out of the description, I quote:

 

"New Clothing and Hairstyles:

The new clothing and hairstyles won't exist in the game by default, but they are available to be added in full screen barbershop".

Did you ever find the issue with this one? I have the same error in my log but I'm 10+ years in and now cannot progress past the certain date.

CBO is not compatible with EPE.

 

Some users have discussed removing some EPE files to fix this, just look back a few pages.

 CBO Vanilla is only a submod, you're missing CBO itself.

Yes, you do not have the actual CBO mod, that does the bodies. Read the description. CBO Vanilla is an addon to the CBO main mod.
