So I tried to downgrade to 1.8, the game loaded up and seem to be running but crashed within 2 minutes lol.

 

I guess we will just have to wait until new CBO and PA are uploaded.

Current workshop version of CFP and updated Carnalitas aren't compatible with current version of CBO and PA.  So if you want to play on 1.8.2, you need to download older version of CFP and Full Body Barbershop, along with previous version of Carnalitas.

This is my current playset, and it works on 1.8.2.  One thing to notice, when you download CFP 1.8, you need to save it under a different name, otherwise it might get auto updated.  Also, make sure you have "Fullscreen Barbershop 1.8", not "Better Barbershop", the author changed the named on Steam, and Better Barbershop will ONLY work with 1.9.

There's actually a specific mod in the workshop that's called CFP 1.8.2 so I just subbed to both and turned off the normal CFP. 

 

I got it working again, I had to turn off carnilitas historical slave doctrine or whatever. 

don't know why it worked once before but then ctd after.

None that neither I have nor anyone else has tried, unfortunately, save for the tried and true method of "Wait For Mange to Put Out an Update." That method works, but requires patience.

Go to \mod\char_body_overhaul\gfx\models\portraits and remove female_head.asset It's my first time using the mod, so no idea if it works correctly, but the base game works fine and most features of mod work as well.

So... learn how to mod and fix it?  Make your own equivalent mod?  Provide more diagnostics and error messages back to the person who actually did something to try and fix it?

In the interest of doing just that - Any resources on where I can start to dig into why the event/scenes aren't launching. If someone knows where to start looking I don't mind doing the work. 

Or were you just looking to chastise someone for a comment?

This is not an area that I've dug into with CK2 or CK3 before, and I'd need some time to understand this part of CK3 myself before doing anything.  I get the mod structure, and how it enhances the barbershop.  Beyond that, not much.
