They go through the entire pregnancy cycle, but never have the baby. The pregnancy simply ends and her belly goes back to normal size. I've went through the MCM looking for any option I might've set wrong, but found nothing. 1. "Only Female Player pregnancy" [OFF] 2. "Select the outcome of babies for Companion NPCs" [Normal Babies] 3. "Limit Pregnancies" [OFF] 4. "Advanced Baby Holding Options" [Adds and equips wearable baby (Not to player)] 5. "Companion Baby Choice" [ALL] 6. "Companion Pregnancy Perk" [Normal Pregnancy] I've tried using the debug functions to force pregnancy and giving birth, but still only the player has babies.

One other issue I noticed is the baby the player character gave birth to isn't growing into a child, even though I have it set to become a child after only one in-game day as a baby. Sleepy_Soul Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Helps with troubleshooting to use Better Console (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26582) to check perks / effects (listed as Spells) on NPCs / player. You can check the companions to see if they have the correct pregnancy perk. Current version of FPE has an issue with assigning Pregnancy Perks and may not listen to what the MCM is set to. 1
levyEntity2008 Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 After some more testing, I found another way that would causes some perks permanently stuck with their character. That is when you save and load the game. For example, when you open your pip-boy and see the perk lactation and cumflation are active. Then save and reload that save file, from that point the perk will stay with their character forever. So before making any new save file, make sure those perks disappear first. There is a way to fix this. For cumflation, you can simply open MCM. Select Family Planning Enchanted, Cumflation option, and click on fix cumflation. The way to fix the lactation perk can only work with FPE ver 4.005 or below. And it also requires the mod Wasteland Dairy Framework. After you got perma lactation perk, open MCM. (step 1) Go to "Wasteland Dairy Framework Comand and hotkey". (step 2) Then select "Cheat Command (Page 2)". (step 3) Finally select "add or remove lactation perk (player)". Once that is done, you should see the perk has been removed. You should also make a new save, and reload the game. After that, once your pc got pregnant again and waits for a couple of days, you should see the perk will naturally appear again. The fertility effect also worked really well with FPE v 4.005. Be sure to toggle it from "Perk" to "Magic effect" in the MCM. This is just a temporary fix. Hope it will help. Take care everyone.

i0Bjhansen0 Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) I've got an issue where there's multiple potential fathers and neither initiate dialogue after "Why are you looking at me like that?". Both fathers are important NPCs but niether progresses further. One is a follower and once the find the father quest starts, his non-companion related dialogue (the talk option) ends up going no where. At this point it doesn't matter to me which one is actually the father, the non-companion npc was one i was trying to have a baby with but it never took. The companion follower was one that i was planning on actually doing their romantic stuff with so I'd be ok with him being the father. But at this point i just want to be able to continue the quest with them. I would also prefer not to have to abort the baby as getting pregnant the first time took longer than i was hoping (i prefer to keep the default chances). On another note, why is it that the baby always has a random race? Like it always says "Impregnated (Random)" even at later stages. [EDIT] After messing around with certain saves and dismissing my companion before the quest popped up, i was able to finally get at least one of them to go through the dna test stuff. And it turned out the threeway with multiple followers backfired. womp [EDIT 2] So it seems the companion i would like to have a baby with isn't able to give me a baby. even using the debug options it says it fails. and seeing the pregnancy options on the companion says that he's sterile, but the fertility test says he's got like 3%. Edit: so i'm in FO4Edit and from what i understand the if an item has 10 LL entries and all of them are allowed to spawn that means there is a "100%" chance for it to spawn so now i'm wondering if setting "chance none" for 9 of them to 1 (i assume) will make that spawnrate 10% instead. I'll try testing this but i have a feeling i'm going to break the mod haha Edit2: adjusted value and weight worked but the LL stuff i did clearly did nothing going to try removing some of the entries Edit3: i ended up just removing the world entries and keeping the vendor ones so i still have access to the items, works for me lol Edited August 18, 2022 by FovI update 1

I thought it was simply from the companion but no one works. I've got a couple different things going on in the logs and i'm not totally sure which lines are relevant. none of them (next time upload the text file) but I will have a look because Debug should work because it should negate all of the effects that would prevent pregnancy.

The newer method seems more simplified and has less script than the old one. If it works consistently, then I would say go with your method.

I'm preparing a new game and I look forward to your updates but I have three questions: 1- you are using a new mod "Spell Perk Item Distributor" should we also install "Baka Framework"? 2- do we still need to install your "Random Overlay Framework" mod? 3- I also use your esp "INVB_OverlayFramework_Tattoo_Invictusblade.esp" should I keep it or can I delete it? Cordially 1. yes, I think so, also I will be using "Spell Perk Item Distributor" in FPE for certain keywords and to update the lactation perks. (I moving them to WDF) 2. no it was always just a suggestion for existence (it didn't actually need it) *to bring more life to the game by giving out tattoo's to everyone 3. you can delete it if you want (they were my own overlays that I decided to release when I was thinking of retiring from modding)

I changed those lines but nothing else is showing up in the logs. like after setting it to that, the only thing that shows up when it fails is the same as before. Papyrus.0.log
