Â This error can be seen like 'Exeption thrown, nullPoint - somthing - java language' popping up after running Reproccer. Â Â Workaround; Â untick xazPrisonOverhaul from your load order. Run Reporccer tick xazPrisonOverhaul in your load order again. Â Â xazPrisonOverhaul Wont be included in Reproccer, so it wont interfere. Â Â I hope this was of help.

xaz Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Heya xaz, thanks for your mod first, and I'm going to add my share to the bug report list, I hope you'll be able to fix your issues without too much brain stress aha ! So I got in prison in Whiterun, and when the jailer took me out of the cell, I couldn't follow him through the Prison's door, there was no option to open it. Debugging the jailer didn't make him come back. Maybe it's a conflict with a particular mod ? I tried to disable some of them to verify, but I got too many of them so it's taking time. Also, after reloading a save in Whiterun, I enabled the "fast forward" option, and it worked great (with some lagging between the actions tho, the jailer took 3 minutes to undress me), then when we got teleported to the pillory, I could like, glde over the floor while attached on it, the jailer and the guard were just standing there doing nothing ! I think it could use some repositionning too, the left pillory is too close of Arcadia's pillar and cause some glitches bteween the guard standing there, the pillory, the jailer and me. Finally, there are compatibility issues with "Alternate Start, Live Another Life". If you choose to start as an owner of a house somewhere, and try to get arrested in that town, the guards will ignore you after you accept to go in prison, and will forgive anything you do after surrendering to them. For example, I killed the Solitude blacksmith, the guards came to arrest me with the 1000 bounty that should've started your quest script, but after I accepted to go in prison they all sheated their swords and forgot all my bounties, as if I went to prison and served my time instantly. After some attempts my game CTD'ed. I think it's an issue with the thane position they give you when you obtain that house, somehow your mod relies on the thane script if you own the house and all your crimes get forgiven. After trying the Solitude thing numerous times and seeing it failed, I went to Whiterun and it worked there (well i got the bug I mentionned earlier instead) Good luck yo ! The pathing sometimes gets stuck. Especially at low timescales the ai has easier to get stuck and not be able to move away.  The reason I placed the pillories there is because I needed a populated area for most of the action. I can see what I can do to adjust positioning, but it's pretty hard to find good free spots (that are also not in the middle of where npcs are walking).  I'll have to look into that Alternate start thing...

I never tried it, so I can't say. If they don't do anything special, it should be compatible. Punishment in the cell is only by the guards.
Lesbync Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 is it possible to get a compatibility patch for open cties? or a tes5edit guide of how to change the placement variables in the affected cities, so the pillory is in the right cityspace? as there are fallback doors to the original cityspaces, the mod works fine, but its quite empty at that place and only the jailor punishes you all the time.  and one small thing: the 2nd pillory, i asume should be for the follower? as i never play without eff, in what faction or what should i give to one of my followers to have them have fun too? or is it currently only static? and followers in the prison are not handled at the moment?  as said i never play without eff, so i don't expect them to work, as organizing 100 followers in a prision could break more i think than help. Right now you can kill entire city, and get away with regular time in prison. If you know you are going to get executed for serious crime, you would either not commit serious crime or make sure you will escape prison if captured. And it will add bigger contrast to inprisonment/freedom, which will affect our emotional states greater when playing. Like in real life, where crimes are dealt with so we don't wanna commit them.  Also you made player walk to the prison cell, that adds huge immersion, and that is what prison is about: "you serve time". When before you would be instantly teleported to prison, then you can sleep and become free. No immersion or fun at all in that. Thank you for this awesome mod.

Thank you for this awesome mod.   Agreed.  The resources seem to already be in the game(intro etc), so hopefully we can one day see this as a feature added to this already great mod. For those that don't like it(which i understand) can simply turn it off via MCM menu.

Personally i don't see the point in execution, your character gets killed and then what, what is the point. Currently you can get executed simply by refusing to go to prison and the gaurds will attack and kill you anyways.  Just my two cents, great mod looking forward to the update, keep up the good work

An execution reduces life energy, Magika and Stamina, then the PC a level (or 2-3) and a Perkpoint loses.  (The PC dont die!!!)  Max jailtime 10 Days Max Major-Crime 10000 Gold Max pay/Day 1000 Gold  If the Bounty higher than 10000,then you become an execution zB Bounty 10k-12000 = 3 Days in the Jail and one Day in the Gage on the Citygate(or other punishment-furniture) ...you lost one Level and one perkpoint 12k-15000 Bounty = 3 Days in the Jail and two days in the Gage (-2 Lvl and -2 Perkpoints) over 15000 crimebounty = 3 Days in Jail and 3 Days in the Gage without waiting. (-3 Lvl,-3 Perk.-1 Dragonsoul) in the last Stage you lost all your items/Clothing and gold...you must beg for food after release or steal it  If you set the max Jailtime to 1 Day, then you become a "execution" if your Bounty over 1000 Gold (one Day in Jail,the Rest in gage)   (Jailtime Standard with food, the extended jaitime in the gage without food)  if the gage in a free area(without guards),then the PC can be enslaved or get free by bandits is this feasible?

Especielly with a few choises like I said before maybe hanging, beheading with axe/guillotine and maybe have the choice to do a Seppuku on yourself before the cut your head. I also wonder if you have the time to fix that when you are trapped outside the guard (mostly) walks in to your imprisonment and pushes it aside. Would it be possible to make them solid to the ground so they can't be pushed around or is that a bit to complicated? Also maybe have a "movie" camera angle against your charter when you are trapped because the camera often get's stuck (at least for me).Â

Like enlarges her boobs, electroshocks, sends monsters to have fun with her with the only chance to escape being a random raid by bandits or the player killing the necromancer or escaping after a session.

gederix Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I have this mod working okay but for a few things Im wondering if someone can help me with: Â 1- The leash breaks quite a lot, my workaround has been to save often, which seems to work. Â 2- In riften upon returning to jail after pillory punishment the door just inside the jail down the steps is locked. Eventually the jailer will teleport through leaving me behind, then the lockpick screen pops up. If I close the lockpick screen it just reopens so I pick (I have one pick somehow), fail, and suddenly teleport thru but now the prison guard challenges me. I can persuade my way past. if I just ignore them they attack me, the jailer attacks them, I get chopped up, its a mess. So I persuade past, get rejailed, assaulted thru the night, then jailer comes to get me for release and we get stuck back at the jail door (the inside one that i get stuck at on the way in). Any idea how to fix this? So far I have not found a way to get back out however if I 'wait' an hour the jailer vanishes. (Im assuming he teleports thru, but Im off the leash now so not sure how to proceed. Will test further.) Â 3- the whipping animations cause my character to break out of the animation. On knees or suspended by chains, as soon as I get hit my character stands up and raises fists in combat stance. I am using deadly combat so possibly its that? Anyway everything seems to proceed normally otherwise. I just wish I could get whipping to work properly, this is the most immersion breaking of all the issues, the one Id most like to fix. Â Love this mod, just wondering if anyone knows any fixes for these issues. Thanks! Â

Â 3- It's definitely Deadly Combat. I got the same issue with Ultimate combat. This one, furtunately, can be toggled off via Mcm for the duration of the sentence. Can you do the same with Deadly combat?

I get it now, would be cool if it was hotkeyable so you don't have to go to the mcm but heck it worked. Â 3- also worked! Unfortunately deadly combat is not afaict disableable in the mcm. So Ill check out ultimate combat if I fond vanilla combat lacking. Â thanks! Â Â
Vincent119 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 This mod has a conflict with Expanded Towns and Cities. the Falkreath pillory is in the middle of a structure in the latest version. Also, the cell door in Morthal hovers away from the cell bars - far enough that the player can easily escape. (strangely, the door seems only do this when the player is arrested. When visiting the jail, the door is where it should be)  I change the Falkreath pillory to a nother location with CK.  And change one in Riften for a issue with interesting npc mod  Sorry Xaz if i make this witout permission  Edit: Is there a another problem with Expanded Towns and Cities (ETaC) and this mod ?  Edit2: sorry i dont change correctly the Riften pillory xazPrisonOverhaul.esp

Let's see when I get around to doing that. Currently building up modding endurance by playing skyrim (I realize this sounds weird, but that's what's happening =) )

I do like it, but I also think that sometimes a day just waiting it out in the cell is okay too.  There are a number of other reasons, which are all other mod related (LaDL, ETAC latest edition.), but that's not really something you should worry about. Basically a toggle 'pillory yes/no' would be awesome, though I'm the first to admit that I have no clue what that means modding-wise to implement.  Thanks for PO!

Though, the problem is that it would force you to reload the game when you die.  Still, I'll make it an option through MCM for sure, so those who don't want it won't have to have it.
magicrealm Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 rather than an execution i would like to see more different punishment at devices. in rifton there are xcross in cell and near pillories, but not used. there arre so many devices in zaz resources, why nothing of them is used here ? and only 3 sexlab animations inside the prison. so if an Expansion of this mod will ever come, then please with a lot of devices.
