Since you do such great work along with Nisetanaka and Kofman77 for TAWOBA and TEWOBA, I was wondering if anyone had ever discussed bikini-ing:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30051?tab=files.

If I can develop my skillset and I get the necessary permissions, I think it would be fun to work on.

Great idea! Go for it. If you would like to develop your skill set, do not let you be discouraged by not getting the permission for that special mod. If you do not get it, there are lots of mods, that have open permissions. Depending on your skill level, you can use a mod/outfit for inspiration and create a complete new outfit.

For TAWOBAE i have the goal to bikinify every outfit ingame. It goes slow at the moment, because of RL reasons, but i have done some work already and more is to come.

What is your skill level? Are you just starting or do you already know your way in bodyslide and/or a 3D creation software?

cheers

1 .Do you have a bashed patch? If so, place the the plugin below the bashed patch.

2. Did you start a new game or installed TAWOBAE midgame? If midgame, try the following:

Go to any npc, open the console and type in the command "resetinventory". If the inventory changes to the TAWOBA equipment, then all is working as intended.

If nothing worked, can you post your loadorder?

Cheers for that. Now im wondering if there's any plans to have leveled lists with vanilla alongside the bikinis for maximum variety like in the remastered version?

Ne, sorry, this is not planned. But if you or anyone would like to do it, be my guests.

I played a little with daz and a lot with pozer 8 years ago. I have a tiny bit of blender under my belt.  So yeah, very minimal. 3d stuff in general all depends on my motivation level. It's not at all difficult for me to grasp. My RL is starting to settle in a little. I see high prospects for some form of game development in the not-so-distant future.

So does this mod fix the issue with SoS/Tawoba where you can't equip both a bkini top and bottom at the same time?

Yes, it does. With this mod you do not have any issues with SOS.

Hi, thanks for the awesome mod!

I have a small issue with clipping on my slider preset though, and I've had no luck trying to fix it using outfit studio. The outfit studio guides I've found haven't been that helpful either.

Pretty sure this should be a quick fix though. Could you please explain how? I know how to edit the mesh, but I have no idea which file I need to load and how to save it so that it doesn't clip on my preset :(

Here is a picture for visuals:

1. Open the file in Bodyslide and click on the shorts (Number 1)

2. On the menu click on the inflate Tool (number 2)

3. Move the mouse over the location you want to inflate. You should get a new tool with a point and a circle. The circle is your influence area the point is your centre of influence and the point of the biggest change (change over the area is not linear)

But this is for zeroed sliders right? How do I do it for my custom preset?

I've tried importing the built nif into outfit studio and this fixes the clipping in-game, but this only changes the nif from the bodyslide output. If I rebuild it using bodyslide it will clip again.

Edit: this is what happens when I apply my preset and try to fix the clipping

If I set the sliders to zero there won't be clipping of course, but I cant fix it for my preset.

After you made the corrections to the zeroed slider items, you need to conform the the outfit to the sliders.

1. your body should be the refernce (green colored), if not green, rightclick on th ebody and select "Set Reference", now it should be green.

2. select the shorts 1 item by clicking on the Shorts 1

3.Go to Slider => and click on conform selected or just use ctr+C short cut.

4. A menu will pop up. just click on OK. You can experimet with the setting, but mostly you will use the default settings.

safe your work

If you want to modify the sliderdata on any item, you choose first the slider and then click on the "pen" Button (special in the picture) of that slider, The slider will be get green collor. Using the tools you can then modify or create the slider data of any item. Click again on the "pen" button, when you are finished.

Thanks for the help, I finally figured out what works for me. I'll share it in case anyone runs into a similar problem.

  1. Load the outfit into outfit studio using the button to the left of the group filter in BodySlide.
  2. Go to Slider > Load Preset... and select the preset that has clipping (my preset is identical for low and high weight, so you might need to do the whole process twice).
  3. Find which non-zero sliders are near the area that is clipping by looking at their names.
  4. When you find one, keep its current value in mind (it's the value your preset uses) and play with the scale to see whether the slider does indeed influence the clipping.
  5. Press the pen button next to the slider. Select the mesh that is clipping in the top right list (press the eye icon next to the names to figure out which is which). Fix the clipping using the brushes.
  6. Click the pen again and set the value of the slider back to the one your preset uses (point 4)
  7. If there is still clipping, you need to edit more sliders. Repeat steps 3 to 6 until your preset has no clipping.
  8. Save project.

So I don't know if this is the most efficient nor if it's the intended way, but this worked for me. Be aware that my problem was purely about the clipping. I still had physics and everything else. I've used this to fix the clipping of panties, bras, shorts and leggings of this mod.

I've got an issue I'm not sure if anyone else has encountered or if there is a fix for it.

For some reason the bikini top my character is wearing from time to time will go from being slot 32 to being slot 32,52.

And as long as it doesn't get unequipped I can also have the thong in slot 52, but if the top comes off and gets put back on then the thong can't be equipped at the same time.

The only fix I've been able to figure out is exit out of the game and go back in which resets the top to slot 32 only.

Is there any other fix for this?

Can you provide more information, like what top? Do you use TAWOBAE only or do you mix different TAWOBA variants in your load order?

I use both TAWOBA REMASTERED CBBE SE and The Expanded World of Bikini Armors.

I've seen it happen with the leather, iron and steel tops so far.  Not sure if it happens to other tops as I tend to start new games more often then I'd like to admit due to new interesting mods which sometimes turn out to be a bust and need to go.

TAWOBAE is not  TAWOBA REMASTERED CBBE and not The Expanded World of Bikini Armors. In TAWOBAE, in order to avoid problems with SOS, slot 32 and 52, the slot 32 is not used for bikini outfits (ony used on Barnacle and dwemer automaton).

The only advice, i can give you, is just test the TAWOBAE mod (first alone, later you can mix with other mods).

I only use TAWOBAE and do not have any problems with SOS or slots overwriting each other.

i hope this helps

I didn't even think about that when I posted my request for help.  I downloaded your mod and will try it out on my next restart, one thing I see that is different between your mod and the ones I currently use is your mod looks like the armor is all one piece where the ones I'm using have it all broken down so there is a top, bottom, thighs, abs pauldrons and so on.  Which would explain why your mod doesn't run into the issues I'm seeing currently.

Thank you for your time

It looks that way in the bodyslide. Ingame its is the same, like the other TAWOBA variants. I use the feature, that only the slots defined for the item are shown, the rest is not shown. This reduces the number of files. For example, if you have a complete outfit in one file, but your helmet item has defined slot 42, then only meshes with slot 42 are shown.

My mod does not use the slot 32, that is why, there is no conflict with it( slot 32= bodyslot)

Ah good to know, so even though it shows as one item I could still have the top from say dwarven with the bottom of orcish or something like that?

Also are there different variations of the armors, for instance Leather has 3 varieties with the mods I have now but I only see the one in your bodyslide which would be the 2nd option I have now.

Yes. You can do that

I not exactly understand, what you mean. There is Hide and Leather armor. The hide armor has more items to choose from, than the leather. I plan to make more outfit parts (maybe 5 per slot), for more variation, but it is for the future.

TAWOBAE is based on the original TAWOBA.

Im having a problem where the jiggle on the bikini armor isn't matching the jiggle of female character's boobs

I'm not having this problem with other mods

This comes because of the mismatch of the body you use and the chosen TAWOBAE bodyslides.

What Body do you use: CBBE (1 Bone) or CBBE 3BA(3 bones)?

You need to build the correct variant in bodyslide.

i hope this helps.

Will there be added a SAM version? HIMBO is good and all, but SAMLight specifically is more lightweight and better shaped, I think...

Not from me. If anyone would like to do it, be my guest.

I never used anything else, than SOS ans HIMBO and do not plan to change it.
