 Ok, back to it after several hours with this mod active.

First issue is rather minor - resist buffs seem to be misnamed (at 10% all, you get 3 witj vag desctiption). Nothing critical, just in case you want to OCD polish.

Second issue is more substantial - after ive put training "gear" in storage in LoTD safehouse, it went smoothly for a while. Then i got message that reference to traning belt and plugs got lost, and "Please report this". Wich is kinda what im doing. Puzzling thing here - error did not appear immediatly after storing items. It took ~2 hours of gameplay. Wich leads me to believe that its more about something else interacting with storage. I do have SL survival, but stash system is disabled. I also do have MWA, but that one ignores DD by default. So im kind of out of ideas. One thing i did notice is that error appeared after reloading a save, but its probably just when script is pinged.

 Anyway, i dont have the expertise neccecery to assume what when wrong.

Mod is awesome! Keep up the good work!

About climax keys. I guess it is game's time bugs but when I ask Arcadia for a key almost 24 hrs after lockup there isnt any dialog for this key. I used first key she game me. So I dont get this mechanics. Arcadia says she would give a key every day. Maybe it is Skyrim's time bug idk.

The first issue is actually an bug. I have already fixed it. But I have not uploaded the updated version now. Thanks for reporting anyways.

 

Regarding the second issue, I am not familiar with LoTD safe house. However, as you mentioned, it seems that you are able to store the training gear in a container. However, those training gear should disappear when they are unequipped. Or, in other words, you are not supposed to be able to put them in a container. Can you tell me what did you do to unequip them?

Thanks for trying out the mod.

 

Arcadia does not provide a key every day. Instead, she provides a key for every checkup (which happens every 48 hours, and it is up to you when to take it). If some dialogue in game suggests otherwise, please let me know.

After you report 5 times you're told "GJ, you can call it quits if you wish". Wich i did. At that point training gear was unequipped and remained in my inventory.

Hmmm, that's weird. They should disappear when they are unequipped. And I just tested that they indeed disappear. In your case, I don't really know what is causing them to stay,

 

Just making sure, you are using DD5 without any patch, right?

in DD5 beta there is a 5.1 beta patch that fixes bugs, the DD team is working on the update to DD5.1 but they released the patch to fix urgent issues causing problems with sexlab animations not firing correctly.

 

Also I would love it if someone like Hexbolt8 has permission to release an LE version of this mod with the health issue in LE fixed. I mainly play on LE

I will take a look at 5.1 patch as soon as possible then. (EDIT: Actually, can you give me a link to the 5.1 patch? I did a Google search and didn't find it.)

 

Regarding the health issue, I believe I have already fixed the problem. However, I have not released the updated version, because I was trying to combine it with other bug fixes and improvements. Ideally, I will publish the updated version within 24 hours of this reply. Nevertheless, as I mentioned in the FAQ, I don't own a copy of Skyrim LE, so I can not really test it.

 

(EDIT: clarification, Hexbolt8 totally has the permission to release an LE version, as I have already given that permission out to everyone as described in the License section. In fact, I would also love if Hexbolt8 is willing to help test and troubleshoot the LE version of this mod. However, I don't think I am in a position to ask him to do it for me. At the same time, judging by his comments, he is probably not that into the concept of this mod. I think he is just being a nice person and trying to help me, a beginner at Skyrim modding, which I really appreciate a lot. In that case, I don't think I should try to trouble him with my problem.)

@Rin Tepis Another suggestion if I may. Make devices equipped by Arcadia be in one style! ^^

Would be great walking in one consistent theme! ^^

Not great when leg cuffs are silver metal and arm cuffs are white leather. Looks silly.

Understandable, I brought up poison resistance just to come full circle with the resistances, not because it'd be arousing.

 

However there is still a matter of general magic resistance, since ingame it's factored independently of individual elemental resistances. So if you are hit with 100pts of fire damage, having 50% magic resist reduces that to 50pts, and having 50% of fire resist further reduces that to 25pts.

 

So if you want to keep a sort of "tier progression" with the trainings, a solution would be to introduce magic resist training plugs once the player had "mastered" fire, cold and shock.

I have made a first version of a German translation. I haven't tested it ingame yet, because I don't have a
Devious Device 5.0 installed at the moment. But the translation should be quite good. If there are any mistakes in spelling or in my interpretation of the events, please let me know.

 

Ich habe eine erste Version einer deutschen Übersetzung angefertigt. Ich habe sie selbst ingame noch nicht getestet, da ich momentan kein
Devious Device 5.0 installiert habe. Die Übersetzung sollte aber ganz gut gelungen sein. Sollten sich Fehler eingeschlichen haben, seitens Rechtschreibung oder auch meiner Interpretation der Geschehnisse, so bitte ich darum mir dies mitzuteilen.

 Thats correct. DD 5.0, nothing overrides it.

During the same event, additional stuff that got added as part of trials wasnt unequippped at all (cuffst etc).

At first i assumed that its intended, many DD mods go for "Surprise gifts". But in case is isnt - well, there is that.

Great mod so far.

 

Suggestions, 

 

#1.  Add a MCM menu to show us timers on the trials Aracadia gives us so we can keep track before next check up.

 

#2.  Add a MCM menu to show what trials we have before next check up so we don't keep picking same thing twice.  I did that a few times and ended up having to do 10 trials to 

       complete initial part of quest.

 

#3.  Allow carriage travel time to count as well and not group with sleeping or fast travel.

Looking forward to trying this in my next play-through.

 

My ideal implementation of this would let a Submissive Lola master/ Devious Follower Continued follower/ SD+ owner use these plugs as part of their repertoire. But maybe that's something for those mods, rather than this one?

 

But like I said, next play-through I'll definitely try this out.

I agree. However, it is actually not that trivial to implement. As far as I know, DD does not offer a way to randomly choose two pieces of bondage gear with the same style.

 

But, yes, eventually I will fix this.

Thank you for letting me know about that. I am actually not very familiar with Skyrim (the base game) at all. I will see what I can do to utilize this new information. As always, suggestions are welcome. :D

Actually, the additional devices are, indeed, not supposed to be unequipped. So that's not a bug.

 

However, regarding the training gear, they are supposed to not only be unequipped, but also destroyed upon removal. I have no idea what is causing them to stay, and I cannot reproduce the issue on my end. If you figured out a way to reliably reproduce this, please let me know. (You can go to MCM, and directly click the stop training option under the trainig quest tab to skip the training.)

#2. I am not sure what you meant by this. If the mod is working correctly, it will not allow you to pick the same trial again if you have already picked it. However, if you meant that you received a popup claiming you are cheating, it is most likely a bug. Please provide more details. Thanks in advance.

 

#3. I don't think I will allow that. The point of those timers not counting sleep time/travel time/wait time/carriage travel is that I want the player (as the human playing the video game) to endure the entire trial at its full length. I will, however, consider reducing the time for those trials. I will also look into providing a way to adjust those time in MCM.

At the same time, I am also looking at the possibility of giving one of the followers a remote that can control the temperature of the plugs. However, that is a large undertake. Please allow some time.

 

Also, I suggest you wait until I release V1.1 of this mod. (It should be released within a couple hours.) There are a couple unpleasant bugs I would like to fix before you start a playthrough on this. Although I will try my best at keeping the save file compatible, it is still possible I messed up somewhere and resulted in oddities.

Thanks for your work, and thank you for the suggestion to wait. I'm still in the middle of another playthrough, so it'll be a bit before I give this one a whirl - and it usually takes me a few weeks to get my mod list both stable and doing more or less what I want.

 

But like I said, I'm looking forward to try it out :)

 yea, i had talked to the..um, i forget her name, the npc lady who sells ingredients in white run, i had started the quest through her and she was suppose to put the chastity belt and plugs in but that msg keeps coming up, i had to exit the conversation without properly starting the quest, the quest right now wants to to talk to her to start my training

This is similar to #1 except to tell us what we trials have already completed.

 

If I remember correctly we needed to complete a minimum of trials in 3 different groups before Arcadia would allow us to stop training.  I would like to know what trials I completed before I go to the next check up.

 

I was able to pick the same trials.  They showed up in the dialogue as grey, but I was still able to choose them.  I received no popup claiming I was cheating.

 

Can we choose the same trial in different orifices?

 

Was it because the timer was still running since I fast traveled or took a carriage that I was able to choose the same trial?

 

Would be easier not to show those trials in the dialogue we already chose even though the timer may still be going?

 

For #3 I do like your idea of reducing time or providing a sliding scale.
