AndarielHalo Posted January 7, 2025 Posted January 7, 2025 never done a request before but I tried converting this on my own and it kicked my ass (and crashes when I put it on) so if anyone is willing maybe would you consider converting this to FG? I'm going through and converting this guy's high poly stuff to FG, just the base game vanilla clothes and armor (and DLCs). Would it be bad form or insulting or theft if I were to upload the FG bodyslide conversions to Nexus, or to here? Any updates on this project? It's my white whale...

Some of them weren't worth converting (as in I couldn't tell the difference (like the Coastal Raider armor) and there were better versions available to download), or I couldn't convert because I don't know how to do it properly, or for some reason some of the High Poly outfits were missing pieces. I could finish them but I don't know how it would turn out for some of them --- I remember one or two outfits I converted ended up with losing their cloth-like appearance and became skintight and I don't know how to fix that. Also I don't know how to convert some of the armor pieces (like Leg armors and Arm armors). FlingMaster69 Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 Is there a conversion for the Colonel Uniform from the Enclave Remnants CC?, it seems to be the only CC clothing without a conversion from what I've searched.

Steps to follow: 1. Open FO4Edit 2. Select the clothing/armor mod you want to compact 3. Once the info has loaded, left click on the mod esp name to select it 4. Right click, select 'compact form id's' 5. In the 'View' window, right click on the 'Record Flags' topic - you'll get a warning that you are going to change the esp - select 'yes, I'm sure' 6. A dialogue box will open with a whole pile of check boxes - select the box that says 'ESL' 7. click OK 8. Save the esp 9. close FO4Edit 10. If using Vortex, re-deploy your mods - when you get the dialogue box that indicates changes were made outside of Vortex, select 'Save all Changes' you're done. If you use MO2, I can't help you with the last step, but the first 9 remain the same 2

FlingMaster69 Posted February 5, 2025 Posted February 5, 2025 (edited) For the Magnolia Burlesque FG conversion, I noticed that the heels have missing textures, after checking it seems like the heels aren't linked to any textures. Spoiler Would this somehow fix itself if I download Vtaw's Bunny and link the textures from that mod to these heels? Edited February 5, 2025 by zt0er

No. you would still need to go in and set the filepaths to the textures yourself. And for that, you may as well copy the necessary files from Vtaw Bunny into the Magnolia Burlesque folders, then set your filepaths in the nifs and esp to point there. Save the altered esp, repack and re-install. this way you don't have to have Vtaw bunny installed in order to get the textures on the shoes. That's assuming the Vtaw Bunny shoes and Magnolia Burlesque shoes are the same. you would probably be better off to get the proper textures from the original Magnolia Burlesque mod and use those. check the MB esp in FO4Edit and see where the texture paths are supposed to go

I downloaded the Vtaw Bunny files, copied only what I needed to the FG conversion folder, which was the shoe material and textures and it showed up textured both in game and bodyslide preview of the FG conversion. Though even after doing that, I edited both files from the conversion in Outfit Studio to add the proper file paths and regenerated the outfits just to be sure, works 100% fine. That specific conversion should have a note about needing those few files from the other outfit to avoid the untextured shoes, at least on the link that's on the first page, maybe the original post for the conversion did mention this or maybe some people never ran into this issue since they also had Vtaw's Bunny installed.
