My Animations always look SO dry and when you animate, it really looks like they're banging while mine look a bit... meh. 4. May you take a look at my newest animation template and tell me what I can do better? First I apologize if you don't get some part. My English is not that good. 1.That must have happened mistakenly. Please use LocRot as we only want to deal with location and rotation. 2.As the name suggest it copies location of other bone. It comes in handy for adding details.(I accidently deleted tutorial video from drive or I could have explain it better.) 3.Once you have obtained desired pose, to create a loop you only need to take care of five bone first. 1.Root_bind_001 2.Pelvis 3. Spine0 4.Spine1 and 5.HeadNew. I have explained it later. 4.The file you provided is baked so I can't do much about it but what I notice is that you have started the Root_bind loop of both actors from both frame. Also if you look at actor B's left shoulder, you will notice it look a little odd. Remember whenever the elbow goes above shoulder height you my need to rotate the shoulder bone upwards to make it better. I have recreated the pose you desired (it' done is a bit rush so it's not looking that good) and only keyframed those five bone I have mentioned. First I do Root_bind and Pelvis of 'actor A'. Then done the same for 'Actor B'. In this case 'actor A' is resting on 'Actor B' so we need to take care of her animations first. After those two bone I made loop with 'Spine0' then move the loop to see if I get the desired results. Then follow the same steps for 'Spine1' and 'HeadNew'. After that do the same for 'Actor A'. If you press N while keeping your mouse on 3D view, you will be able to in which direction I have rotated the bone. Here's the blend file. I have hidden your mesh and bones. recreated.zip Here's my upcoming animation for an example:- coudognal.zip You will notice that I have rotated her Head bone instead of HeadNew. It is because I will not be moving her head in any other direction.

I'll take care of your tips tomorrow (since it's almost 11pm here) and I'll see what I can do with your tips. I didn't realized that it was baked. I thought that I've saved it just normally.?

I've already learned a lot by his animations and I also LOVE how his animations look in blender AND in Game. But he does some things there that I couldn't figure out for myself or which I don't really understand. I want to learn like everything and want to improve myself to make create some pleasent animations for da peeps. Especially because I want to do something like this as a job^^ Meshing is a thing for me that I totally not understand and thanks I understand more than you know. ) There have been things that JoshQ showed me and I did not understand. I would play with them from time to time, and some times, a year later... FACE SLAP! And I use those techniques and tools every day now. It will be the same for you, as it seems that you have the desire, and not understanding the first time does not discourage you!

I remembered when I've tried to animate in march this year. I had one setback after another. I almost gave up but MJ, Clydie and you gave me SO much motivation to just go forward and do my thing. I have to admit that it does discourage me when it doesn't work as it's inteded to. But it somehow also gives me more motivation after some hours! The motivation to do more, to do better! I'll guess you have to teach me meshing one day then?❤️

I'll guess you have to teach me meshing one day then?❤️ @JoshQ's motto is "Practice and patience". ))) My current tale is of my Harley Quinn Arkham leather outfit that I have returned to work on. I began that outfit almost 2 years ago! It has buckles and studs and laces and hoops... all of which exploded like a wonderful Picasso painting when morphing. I could not control the parts. I simply did not have the knowledge or skills. ((( What I had was PATIENCE!!! So I PRACTICE(d).... )))))))))))) She sat in a file all this time, and now I work on her again, and have great success. I have taken the technique that JoshQ told me for fixing morphs, and added to it to remove the distortion from the buckles and other small parts. I have learned and improved at bone painting, and understanding relations of overlapping bones. I watch many tutorials. Some I watch even if not what I was looking for, just to be aware of things. My point is that things rarely work perfectly the first time. We must work a little... or a lot. And yes, see failure not so much as failure, but as learning. I try to see this way.
Nonsequitur Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Would you please update this tutorial - the links on the Drive-One Downloads do not work with my machine. Thanks.
ghost-17a Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Allow me some time. I'm not the author of this topic anymore so I have to make a new topic. Edit:- I have created a new topic here. If you have any questions regarding the tutorial you can let me know. It's still WIP but should be completed in 1-2 days.
