Durante Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Trying to do a preliminary set up for Skyrim with MO, but getting instant CTD when animation stage advances, or switching to a different one.. I also get no crashes with sexlab framework animations on, but instant crash with all other slal animation packs.

I can do that. Yes to all of those. I did run it but as a matter of fact, loot makes it worse and has no awareness about many of those mods purpose or load order, it places heavy mods and things like patches at the very upper order as well as npc overhauls for example. Those are mods I've used before making the switch, and it was playable.

FNIS output should give you warnings about the path being wrong. FNIS output is the text you get when you run FNIS. It's a simple copy n paste to post it here.

I take it that your left pane and right pane are matching each other? To conquer your CTD, they should. Except for thos part where you know exactly what you are doing there and why you want them arranged differently. CTD aside, you should make yourself familiar with the left/right pane concepts in general. Some video guides here: https://www.loverslab.com/blogs/entry/7860-entrails-my-modding-toolbox-for-skyrim/ Next FNIS: Where do you put your FNIS generated output ? Overwrite? It should be in a folder/mod that is very much at the end (highest number) in your left pane and it should activated. The file modlist.txt in your profile would be helpful, too (that's your left pane with all active/inactive markers)

There isn't much conflicts there either way, apart from animation overwrites. I've put fnis output as a separate mod/folder at the very top of MO. Not using overwrite. Will try to post it.

It has the highest number. Don't worry, I got the basics. LOL. Crash fixes is a nice mod, but its crash logs are not so useful. It gave me one peculiar ctd error that I never resolved and decided to switch to MO, now I do a clean install and the game is giving crashes like christmas presents.

Guys, guuuys. I've been around probably almost as long as you. ?I know all of the steps, tools and fixes there, although I must admit I find these guides mighty impressive and time saving, compared to back when I had to browse download category and threads for neat fixes separately. It just irks me that somehow other slal animations can cause CTD when animating but only few of the included ones in the sexlabframework. It doesn't leave much room to hypothesize what's wrong. Will try to check on animloader and JContainers though.
Grey Cloud Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 9 minutes ago, Durante said: slal animations can cause CTD when animating Unless you are using some rare animation packs I don't see how the regular SLAL packs which are used by everyone else without problems should not work for you. The problem must lie in something you have done or not done.
Just Don't Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I'm not entirely sure, but I remember the latest FNIS version for LE had that check broken. It detects nearly every animation as incompatible. In the log you post even the Sexlab ones are detected as incompatible, and according to you these don't make your game crash. If you run FNIS without that check enabled it still should warn you if an entire mod (not individual animations) are incompatible because FNIS always scans the behavior files each mod provides (like the BodySearch Motion warning you got in the first log you posted). Now you mention two types of crash ""getting near instant CTD on new game loadscreen or when animations trigger from FNIS"". Crashing while loading: usually related to having too many animations, as you're using FNIS XXL you even have a CTD%. In the same FNIS description it's recommended to use Animation Limit Crash Fix to avoid such CTDs. Crashing when performing specific animations: no idea really. Using incompatible animations or behavior files isn't a reason to crash when playing these specific animations. What happens is that your behavior files will be broken and you'll get T-poses at some points (always or when performing certain animations). I'd check if the actors involved in these animations have the proper skeleton in use, or if it's only with animations from one pack in particular.

I'm not getting the load screen crash anymore, could have been a load order issue. Now it's only slal animations from all packs. And I do have that fix installed, as well as XPMSE overwriting everything. Honestly, it just feels like MO is fuckin with me. I'm stuck for days now trying to setup a running game with fnis.

And that after initial install you ran "generate user fnis something" from fnis folder before running fnis in MO. I would back up mod list and plugin order in MO, both groups have icons(top right) to back up mod list and load order. I would back both up and test with barebones, sexlab, arousal, fnis, SL pack, and alt start. And skeleton or any other required mods Test with female and do a female/female sex and basically rule out anything on male side

I only left on XPMSE, sexlab, aroused, schlongs, racemenu, skyui etc along with skse based fixes and alt start along with slal packs installed. And I've been testing female solo animations so far.
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Where is steam installed? Program Files(86) messes with some tools Go gay, just for the fun of it and do a dude on dude, or just bait it? Obviously, none of us thinks problem is in those core mods, we'll get it. Curious, in game with nude female, bounce works right?
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 For now, I would only test with leito, rule everything out that you can, and hopefully you testing animations outside of female solo. Also just for fun try different races for your female pc. I'm leaning towards your female body. Physics dorked or possibly something with female race. When you installed MO, did you reinstall Skyrim prior and or verify integrity of game files through steam?
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Crashing when switching stages? First scene runs good?

First scene runs good? The bounce works fine, I'm using the same pre-made setup as before. And the crash happens on male solo as well, and on different races with female. First scene runs good as long as it starts, if I switch it to a different animation or advance stage it instantly crashes. I first installed MO before switching from NMM, then I reinstalled Skyrim later on and did not verify because it was a clean install. A quick setup on vortex gave the same results..
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 If first scene runs, that rules out most stuff. If your sticking with MO, I would review gopher or gamer poets videos and make sure you have SL, Fnis, skse installed right. I believe SL would dictate scenes changing, maybe do safe reinstall. Certainly unrelated but when you do fresh install of Skyrim you still verify integrity of game files in steam, and make sure nothing is in program files(86).
