[mod] Carnalitas - Unified Sex Mod Framework for CK3

I had to reinstall all my mods on a new PC and now half the people, even children, are naked. Any idea why?

Check whatever else is on your modlist - possible you have an outdated mod that modifies/changes outfits. Maybe an outdated version of CBO or Phaze Body?

 

Carnalitas does not modify anything in regard to clothing.

I shuffled around my mod load order and suddenly everything was fine. No idea why though^^

Is there a way to remove that 1-year waiting time between fertile sex encounters (make love/demand sex)? The option in the menu removes the cooldown but doesn't make the events fertile.

You need to go into the Carnalitas mod files and edit carn_sex_interaction.txt by changing months to days in this bit:

 

cooldown = { months = carn_sex_interaction_cooldown }

 

And then change the value in carn_sex_interaction_values.txt to 1

Bug in hardmode event cdol_revelation.0011,  when I (highest ruler) revealed myself, I triggered the event to decide whether to imprison/banish/revoke myself or not; And after that, when my subjects revealed themselves, the event is also triggered.

Anyone know why I can't find the mod in my mod library? Put it in the right place (the Paradox Mod folder) and it still doesn't show up. Also got a lot of old versions that still show up even though I deleted them. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been trying for a long time, but I still haven’t succeeded. I extracted the files into the mod folder, and Paradox Launcher can detect the mod. It’s also at the very bottom of the playset (which I understand means it’s loaded first). However, I still don’t see any changes in the game rules. I checked the mod path and found that “Documents” was in Chinese, so I renamed it to English. I also opened the .mod file with Notepad and corrected the file path inside, but it still didn’t work. What other troubleshooting steps can I try? Thank you.

Whenever i go to a carnal court sex scene with my spouse it just shows my character sitting on a throne and no matter what position i pick nothing happens. Any ideas???

Has anyone stumbled into issue on AGoT with Carnalitas (ck3 1.18.4 + Carnalitas 2.15 + 0.9.0 agot comp + crs agot comp 0.11.0) removing castle/city/temple visit interaction in adventurer mode? Tried without carnalitas load and the interactions work fine.

So... new to this mod. I can´t seem to find any events or situations where the heavier stuff you can turn on on game rules (like bestiality). Also, the only non consensual scene available is the raping of prisoners? What of other activities like orgies? Are those in game?

Carnalitas by itself is a framework (hence the name) for other adult mods to build on. The game rules are there to govern certain event flags that are used at the discretion of other modders to properly tag their sex scenes.

 

Orgies is not a standard Carnalitas feature, but other mods such as Daughters of Lust has an orgy activity.

Good day, everyone! I`m having troubles understanding the fetish system. I know that I might be wrong asking about it here, but I just can't seem to find any instructions on how to get new fetishes or edit the ones you already have.

I've read that there's Arousal Framework for Carnalitas that makes use of the fetish system, but it looks like this mod is no longer supported (maybe because it eventually became a part of Carnalitas, I don't know).

What I'm particularly curious about are the ways of editing the fetishes with commands and what are the mods that add the ways of interaction with the fetishes, outside of just adding animations, but actually making the fetish system into a gameplay mechanic - influencing the events and stuff.

Again, I know that asking about it here might not be the best solution, since the author of Carnalitas isn't responsible for the content that makes use of the framework's systems, but I just don't know where to look for now.

Peep the effects in common/scripted_effects/carn_fetish_effects.txt to see how they are applied, and common/scripted_triggers/carn_fetish_triggers.txt for triggers in terms of looking up whether someone has a fetish or has a certain fetish.

Tied to prostitution religious doctrine, so like everything requiring religious doctrine 1.19 broke it

ICYMI, Carnalitas has been updated for CK3 1.19

if I go back to the previous version it works, but with the new one there is no menu related with carnalitas under the game's rules
