lostdaywalker Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 Dark Rose 2 for UBB X-117 I always liked Hentai Dark Rose so here is my version. Comes with dress, UNP boots and Gauntlets craft-able under Hide at the forge. Also included ANK glasses and two pairs of requested earrings craft-able under Jewlery, also at any forge. Setekh Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Nice work. Problem with the gauntlets though, you've only added the AA to the Khajiit vampire race, will not show up for any other race. I've fixed it on my end but others might not be as knowledgeable in the CK.
murf Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Love the new outfit LDW. Very cute and feminine. @skaub: enjoy

It worked for custom races but not Elves,Britons, ect. Thanks. Good looking out. Love the new outfit LDW. Very cute and feminine. @skaub: enjoy Thanks, I try my best.
Kilnn Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I cannot seem to find the Lich King armor for my male character. It is not available for crafting. Do I need to make a new character for this to appear? Also trying console command, but must be doing some thing wrong as it is not working. Edit: Figured out console command and have armor. Still curious why it did not show up at the forge.

Edit: https://mega.co.nz/#!xo1RyZrY!TTqyYHGX-AqEU9Gcux_uujPiABULuB2J1S12B6p1w68 Quite nice. I tried a few different things, but they ended up too busy, but this variation I kind of like. I was going for something that was both something a Necromancer could wear in game and something that might be worn by a certain Miss Abby Sciuto. redid the lace sleeves and leggings with a skull and crown texture. The dress itself is: top and skirt - a stone wall texture translucent 80% (the puff sleeves look good translucent and not too big at all.) Looks vaguely reptilian. The midriff is black velvet as is the collar and sleeve trim. One oddity, the texture you had on the center midriff seems to bleed through somehow onto the skull I have there (see the closeup.) It doesn't show that way in nifskope but it does in game, but of course you have to be ultra close to see it so it's not that big a deal. Did you contour that texture right on the model? I have a vine pattern I might try on the midriff to set off the skull and I still have to redo the boots to be darker, but all in all I kinda like it. Might redo the stone wall translucent to 90% opacity on the skirt though. or overlay a lace pattern on it.
lostdaywalker Posted June 29, 2013 Author Posted June 29, 2013 Edit: Figured out console command and have armor. Still curious why it did not show up at the forge. Its classified as Daedric. You must have the crafting skill to create it. One oddity, the texture you had on the center midriff seems to bleed through somehow onto the skull I have there (see the closeup.) Here is a normal map without it. Top.7z

Here is a normal map without it. Top.7z That's wacky because I looked at the top_n.dds file and it appeared to be completely empty. I'll give the new one a try. Here's take two with silver vines on black velvet for the "waistcoat" portion. Tried various thing on the skirt - lace, webbing and a few other things but decided that a plain stone wall texture @ translucent 95% (which is really 5% tranlucency) looked the best overall (matching with the bodice portion.) Pity you don't like bows, because a bow at the back of the waist would look good I think Another thought would be lacing in the V-back, starting just below the shoulder blades or just in the "waistcoat" section - would link with the gauntlet lacing. Edit: I liked the silver vines and stone wall effects enough that I went back and did that Japanese dress in vine over stone. Not sure if I like the stone wall texture better than black velvet on this dress but it does have an interesting crinkle effect.

Xocyll Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 flower power powerflower.jpg I have trouble believeing any woman would wear an outfit that made her thighs look that big. There's a reason harem pants are translucent.
uguu123 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Jittek was looking for sport suit, found one pansumask sadly have alot clipping with hair but with biped hair its looks much worse
Xocyll Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 So I went texture trolling on google and found some interesting ones which weren't as useful as I had hoped for the Dark Rose 2 dress. One very stylized rose outline looked quite interesting and fiery over a gold sequin texture and I thought it might look good on that japanese dress I snagged a while back. Quite a nice effect I think although it looks a bit abstract. Hrm, maybe shrink the rose outline texture so it's more obvious and tiles more. I really need to find a nice seamless butterfly outline texture that I can do something similar with.

I think the call them "Birth'n Hips" Widen out the bottom of those pants. Jittek was looking for sport suit, found one pansumask sadly have alot clipping with hair but with biped hair its looks much worse I heard of underwear bandits But that's taking it too far. Time to see Skyrims version of a psychiatrist. A Hag Raven. So I went texture trolling on google and found some interesting ones which weren't as useful as I had hoped for the Dark Rose 2 dress. If you find one you like, let me know and I can convert it for you. Thanks. I checked out that antique butterfly ones and downloaded it (twice even), but the zip turns out to be corrupted and can't be opened. What I'm hoping to find is something simple-ish, tileable in black and white for my overlay process. The more colors it has the more processing I have to do to simplify the palette for snipping to make overlays. I've snagged a bunch of butterfly patterns but they're all at least 16 colors and shades and since the GIMP doesn't seem to be very good for drawing, replacing multi shaded lines with monochrome is a pain in the ass. Maybe I'll have to do some stuff in Windows Paint for basic line drawing/replacment. Kind of a pain when you do a lot of work massaging a texture and then the end effect of the overlay is disappointing and a waste of time. I did get a good skulls and roses texture though and tried it on the skirt of the Dark Rose dress, but it didn't look right with the rest - perhaps the whole dress in them once I shrink the texture - looked nice with white skulls and red roses on black velvet so I will have to experiment more with it. Be so much easier if I was actually an artist and could create my own textures from scratch instead of manipulating existing textures. Edit: I found a decent butterfly and tulip texture which looked alright, but did not go with the vine pattern I had on the midriff section of the Dark Rose 2 dress. So I erased all the tulips and tried that, again overlayed on the gold sequin pattern colorified to silver. Redid the gauntlet and stocking with the same skull and crown texture as before only slightly larger and on the same silver sequin overly for extra shinyness. Came out alright I think. Butterflies are maybe an odd choice for a Necromancer, but there is that whole "rebirth" thing they do changing from caterpillers, so it sort of fits. Edit. While looking for butterfly textures I came across this very cute rabbits texture I had to try out. So here it is on that japanese dress. Is that not unspeakably cute? Perhaps better with pink bunnies.
Xocyll Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 white dress with pink bunnies perhaps??? I did it both ways, Pink on white and white on pink. I think I like the white on Pink better. I usually face into the sun for screenshots but both of these were so bright I had to take shots of the side in shadow to get any detail. Also came across a very interesting lava texture and tried a few overlays on it - cobweb looked very neat so I did the Dark Rose dress in it as well. (with and without the trim at the top and bottom of the midriff) With Trim No trim
Honesty Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Awesome site... like, for realsauce. I can see you having a ton of "fun" converting some of these.. xD haha. Seriously though - awesome site. Was wondering where other awesome Eastern modsites were that didn't require a shitton of pop-ups or "gold" to "purchase."

AwfulArchdemon Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Warning! I downloaded CotS yesterday. It was an installer.exe, that was supposed to dl CotS. That .exe contained nothing but a virus! It couldn't get through my Internet Security, but it kept trying and trying, and I couldn't shut it off. When I moved the .exe into my Recycle Bin, boom! Virus after virus. I crushed them all, but so you know, don't dl the installer! If you get that one by accident, throw it away before you extract it!

If you get that one by accident, throw it away before you extract it! i have no idea what a CotS is suppose to be or where you downloaded it from That's an adware, not a virus, some websites give you a nice pack of them when you try to download something, Adbock usually gets rid of those links, but if it doesn't, you'll have to read closely what you're installing before accepting; most of the hosts with adware installers actually give you the software you're looking for, but you have to deny everything else in order to get it clean.

You have a choice, you picked the wrong one and got the adware software install and then made the seconds wrong choice of executing that software and letting it install itself. If you don't choose their "Download Assist" software (adware) then you get the COTS file without the additional crap that has to be extinguished. This is one of the side effects of when the hosting service that previously held the file suddenly decided to drop this file and forced a hunt for a new host. We have since found new hosts that work much better but the author of COTS has been offline for a long time and hasn't moved this to one of the safe new hosts.

Well, being fair there are so many free hosts without that adware crap, being fair, no uploader should use those adware websites, being fair, use MEGA ffs.
