now i get it, you used this tool to make hair work properly and this tool changed your hair_pack.esp

but porbably this tool using something undocmented or non standard for esp records, so tes5edit is going mad

That could be true.  I had this before TES5edit was released and would not be surprised TES5edit had a fit.  Then again, CK always gave errors when editing the Elin race, but experienced no problems when in-game, except reports of the vampire transformation problems, but that is common with custom races.

EDIT:  I just converted SG Hairs and going to see if they are compatible with the Elins.

I test the original SG Hairs pack (HelloSanta's private hair pack) and the slider indicates the hairs are present, but they don't appear on my Elin.

I have a feeling the hair pack HelloSanta released here in LL will not be any different.

tried, but no luck

i set generated tri files for hair and hairline, but nothing changed :(

but some of hairs is good even without new tri files

Probably the cause is the hairs original tri files.  Normal morph files will have a better chance of coversion whereas custom morphs are not compatible.  That's my guess.  That would explain some converted hair packs show up with bald spots.

If you are planning on using only one hair, you can reposition the mesh to remove the baldspot.  Some hairs will have room in front to allow for circlets.  Moving the mesh back should eliminate the spot without the front hairline clipping into the forehead.

I managed to fix the texture by replacing some textures here and there.

So I figured you can change the body of elin in Bodyslider, However it seems to be still an elin body where there is a small torso but big thighs.

What I do want is complete body replacement, if there is a way to this, please tell me.

You will need to replace the skeleton with the x117 (beast) or one of the custom skeletons by Skull Tryannt (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16712), just look for beast skeletons for Monli (this is the smallest custom skeleton available).

I'll be tinkering with some beast skeletons to allow for different hips and breast sizes for the loli Tera girls.

So I should replace the elin skeleton with beast skeleton from this link right?

So that means I should rename the "skeletonbeast.nif " into "skeleton.nif" then drag it into 2chelin folder and allow replacement, Is that right?

btw, isnt that mean that vampire form will get this problems? since race for vampire form have different name.

Very likely, but if the hair clipping for the vampire form is the same as non-vampire, repositioning the hair mesh should work for both races since they share the same head mesh and hairs.  I never went the vampire route, only werewolf, so I can't say for certain.

"2chElin Fix" folder.  Rename 'skeletonbeast.nif' to 'skeleton.nif' and rename 'skeletonbeast_female.nif' to 'skeletonfemale.nif' and drop them in "2chElin Fix" folder.

If her height is taller than normal Elin height, use CK to change her height.  If you are comfortable with Nifscope, make incremental changes to the root node value mostly with SCALE and Z-POSITION.

So how do I change the height on CK? Is it really changing height or just the same as the console command "setscale" ?

ACTORS > CHARACTER > RACE ( double-click the Elin race)

Choose the BODY DATA tab and (as in the screenshot) you will see where you can make changes to the race height.

There are two ways to effectively change their height: 1) custom/modified skeleton, or 2) changing the height value for the race in CK.  SetScale is not permanent and like the command SetNPCWeight can reset.

if its not hard to explain, is it possible to change sceleton height via nifscope?

changing in CK will cause problems with furniture

Altering the skeleton would have the same effect with furniture.  The solution would be some an animation that rescales or dynamically changes their position when sitting or using an alchemy table then returns them to their default size or position when standing.

I have noticed ECE affects the skeleton that, to some degree, fixes the clipping issue.  When I was making alterations to the x117 skeleton to correct the effect of ECE making the GT Elin an adult, there was only a very minor clipping problem when she sat down.  She appeared to sit on top of the chair and not in the chair.  The caveat would be that if the modified x117 skeleton was applied to an npc race, they would sink half-way into the chair and her height would be like that of a 4y/o child.

I made some adjustments to the Venus body and liked the results.  I went ahead and made an Elin body based on the Venus "Curvaceous" body.

Once I make the breast a little more rounder, while still keeping them A-cups, I can then proceed to make the BBP and maybe TBBP bodies.

Fixed  :P

In case you decide to release the tbbp mesh, please, make it compatible with this kind of animations:

Okay, okay, I mentioned before about including a TBBP body for all of the GT races so I'll keep my word.  Yes, I used that particular TBBP by LeCid when testing the Voluptuous body and only noticed some butt bounce, but nothing compared to the one in the video.  I'll see what can be done to improve her 'assets'.

I have recently grabbed this and is quite itching to test it out. There are still something that kind of put me on hold. Someone please clear up some of my confusions.

1) The Voice Pack only affects the Elin Race, does it not?

2) The Hair Packs are just extra choices for the Elin race. Can I run more than one of these Hair Packs simultaneously?

3) The armor links. Which one is recommended?

Hello Mkprovince

1) There are 3 different versions (packed into 1 file + voice samples) and they all affect your pc, but "ElinRace n NPC" also affects certain npcs mainly bards.

I have a child voice pack which appears to contain dialogue for followers and more.  I'll first test this with the upcoming Girls of Tera.  I believe there is a way to allow child voices for followers which currently will break a follower's dialogue.  I'll need to look further into this and do some testing.

2) The hair packs are strictly optional.  The Elin race comes with custom Nord hairs and Tera Elin hairs (comes with ears and tails).

If you plan to install the Elin NPC and Enemy pack, a patched set of Tera Elin hairs is included.  This is meant to be installed over the original set.

As with installing a multitude of hair packs, if you don't have a beast of a gaming machine then it is best and advisable to install Kaeper's Precache Killer (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33526).  This requires the latest version of SKSE (http://skse.silverlock.org/) which would be version 1.06.13.  If not  known already, you will need to start the game with the skse loader found in the SKRYIM folder.

3)  This is a matter of preference.  The Fox6000 armors are for CBBE and the Elin armors are for CBBE Slim.

ARMOR GALLERY

The custom BBP bodies (CBBE and UNP) are not really different than Calyps' CBBE or Dimon99's UNP so that means you can wear any armor for those bodies as long as it's for BBP.

If you plan to use the default body or the non-nude Tera body set then armors for CBBE Slim and UNP armors converted for Children of the Sky can be worn, but there will be neck, hand, and foot seams.

An alternative are these converted vanilla armors for the default and Tera body.  I have not used them yet.

When you release the GT Elin (or any non anime style one) will you post them on this thread or will you make a new thread?

They will be included in this thread.  When done, I'll change the thread title to "Elin Race + Girls of Tera" or something similar.

...should the game be crashing when I try to choose a female Elin in the CC menu?

EDIT: Nevermind...I fixed it...

Out of curiosity, is it possible to swap skeletons out for the Elin race? Or do they completely rely on the one packaged with the mod?

Did you install it correctly? Installed requirements before the mod, then moved them in the correct load order before running Skyrim?

I suggest downloading Wrye Bash and BOSS - BOSS rearranges your Modlist by the Master files it has (this is done by submitted a mod to the dev team) and it will arrange it the best it can, if it cannot recognize it you should submit it to them as well as reading any readme files for load order. Wrye Bash is like Nexus Mod Manager in a sense but is a bit more complicated in how it installs mods I suggest sticking to manually installing mods if you do not understand it otherwise save the mod (zip or otherwise) file to Skyrim Mods located in the Steamapp folder (if you use steam if not it might be in your documents folder), Bash also has it's own "Patch" system where it combines mergable mods together to lighten your load - but do not uninstall or remove them as the Patch still needs them.
