Marauderrr Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Just wondering if there was a way to change the coordinates of the displayed comments? I've been looking through file contents but still no luck. I just wanted to lower them a bit a little closer to the bottom of the screen....

There are a lot of them on Nexus. One of them might work for you. This mod doesn't touch how the comments/subtitles are displayed. 2

I do not think moving ui components is something quest mods should do. That may likely confuse players who actually use an alternative hud ... You should go look at HUD mods, Most people use SkyUI and so you want a HUD which is easily compatible with that. (They all must use the same interface, i.e. use a Showmessage function, the text appears where messages are positioned, dialog shows up where dialog are positioned, etc... ) I think True HUD is the most popular for Skyrim? Least when I did a search, then there's iHUD which hides hud elements etc... Can't say because I don't have one outside of SkyUI which incorporates some elements and changes some hud features that many mods use, I'm more familiar with Fallout huds. You'd likely want one where you can move things around as widgets. Mind you that covers all mods. Before you do, you should probably look in System UI or even SkyUI to see if they have settings to move things around and/or recolor/resize fonts, etc... might suffice to your taste. Raven 54 Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 I am posting this here as I don't know if it is this mod or the Original SLSF.... This is Not a Complaint, just a curiosity... Bambi (my PC) married Viggo at the Temple of Mara in Riften, They then moved into Breeze Home in Whiterun to Consummate their Marriage, during their "Night of Deeds" the Fame meter just kept climbing till the next morning when they emerged, All the townsfolk seemed to have a front row video broadcast to them, slut, whore, Adrienne said "I guess it is true you Nord Sluts can go all night long". WTF?! Why is it in my own home, with the person I married, am I a slut, whore for doing what every other Married couple do in their homes. Why does this get tracked? Is there just no way to differentiate between inside a private residence vs a Public place? Strange.

What happened is your spouse told everyone. There are percentage settings in SLSF for lovers, followers, friends, etc... to tell everyone. It's in the MCM. SLSF does not make the distinction for any interiors. It would make sense if it did utilize public, private, and better line of sight attributes along with some type of sensibility and moral system on the npc's themselves. i.e. Whores in my game constantly make derogatory remarks to my PC, like the one above. For some reason, Breezhome is linked to the Bannered Mare and you'll gain rep there just like you would in public. As far as I know, Breezehome is the only player residence with this problem. 1

My PC got exhibition fame while in the bath in Proudspire a few times and she got slut fame there too when fulling around with SLSFC's Lillian Vici while waiting for daylight to finish finding the temple, apparently Jordis likes to gossip. Is Breezhome linked to Bannered Mare? I don't know? I did not see it in either CK nor SeEdit but I also replaced every vanilla home with mostly TNF variants, and then patched them all to in mods which follow and touched those cells to have the darn water marked in them, so people can at least bathe. Played a while tonight...when my PC leaves the Mare and goes directly to Breezehome, they're linked. I can hear panting from the dogs and other ambient sounds, and rep is gained for nudity, etc., and Tirwin won't engage Ragnar. Maybe it's just my setup, I dunno. It's no secret that Skyrim does some odd shit once in a while.🙄 1

It's no secret that Skyrim does some odd shit once in a while.🙄 I do not know why that would be the case? Audio - sound markers - are similar to idle markers, just like placing furniture, etc... in cell sub-blocks. A mod litterally would have to place those sound markers in the breezehome sub-blocks for you to hear them. \ If they were linked in some way npcs in one cell actually may scan and try to use the idle markers in the other. i.e. npc's might walk out of one and use the furniture in the other etc... Actually when you're in one cell sub-block the others are actually non-existent in memory (thus you get load screens between ... and in actuality what's the other cell is stagnant off in a save - not in memory.). Breezehome is in Cell Block 0, Sub-Block 6 The Bannered Mare is Cell Block 6, Sub-Block 0 Okay, I can see some mod mixing up the two but they also happen to be two completely separate Form Id's 000165A8 vs 0001605E, and that's the real address - it's the form ID Skyrim and mods use for everything. Want to know or manipulate something - it uses it's Form ID to do so. Look to see if you have a mod mixing the two Blocks/Sub-Blocks up? Here you can see "JK's The Bannered Mare" and "TNF Breezehome Plus Beds Extended" I highlighted the carry through of "Has Water" onto DZ'a npc undress to bathe (so can use soap). Also added "Can travel from here", which of course means the PC may Fast Travel from inside the home. Now then... one thing I did notice while spot checking here is that "all player homes" in the flags are marked as "Public Area" when I looked that up there's a reason for that. Npc's like housecarls, etc... need to be able to enter. Is also used by neutral npc's late in the day to so you can be told by NPC's "You don't belong here," and "get out!" without that set public. Being public may also likely why force-greet (target) dialog from guards, children and others on the street who attempt to talk to the PC walking by, follow the PC into the doors to finish the dialog? I don't know. Now back to SLSF... I do not know how it defines Public or even if it checks... it has it's own system for locations (Dawnstar, Whiterun, etc...) it also has contagion between locations reflects more people gossiping... Then there are your lovers, followers, friends or whatever relationshiprank have variable percentages for them to set Fame (tell others about you). It actually uses Npc's to increase fame in a given location. SLSFC utilizes it's own variable plus the SLCF global counterpart variable as a pair to invoke dialog comments. i.e. This is the lesbian pair : SLSF_CurrentFamePCLocation_LikeWoman (possible values 1 thru 100?) SLSFC_FE_Lesbian (o or 1) When I checked It was something like SLSFC_FE_Lesbian == 1 and SLSF_CurrentFamePCLocation_LikeWoman > 10 would get you a comment about lesbian actions. SLSF also has an aging which can be set - iow over time the SLSF_CurrentFamePCLocation_LikeWoman will reduce. Looking in CK at Tirwin and Ragnar dialogs I see she's very particular and will not have sex with Ragnar except in open areas and not at a distance of < 1000 from any other npc, other than Ri'saad, Angi and Ria during certain quests, (So when npc's within 1000 she'll refuse). She will also not have sex in any Dwelling with Ragnar (such as a player home nor any home). Any location with the following keywords are off limits for her to agree to have sex with Ragnar: LocTypeCity LocTypeTown LocTypeSettlement LocTypeInn LocTypeDwelling LocTypeCastle LocTypeMilitaryCamp LocTypeMilitaryFort LocTypeOrcStronghold LocTypeClearable LocTypeDragonpriestLair LocTypeDraugrCrypt LocTypeDungeon LocTypeDwarvenSutomatons LocTypeFalmerHive LocTypeHagravenNest LocTypeVampireLair LocTypeWarlockLair Edited September 18, 2024 by eflat01 1

Set the settings in SLSF to reduce the fame quickly and it will dissipate (I don't recall but may even be a setting to reset fame stats completely?) Also set your spouse (lover) in the MCM to 0 or 1% in reporting fame. Like I said my PC had gained Exhibitionist fame for just taking baths at home, and having sex with housecarls in player homes, Heck even npc's in SLSFC she's been intimate with have blabbered all over Skyrim. Serana who's her current lover - likely her spouse come time - probably takes notes and passes them off to the evening news. Hot off the Cyrodil Enquirer's press - "Thu'm? Dragonborn squeals in bed even louder!" 😛 Edited September 18, 2024 by eflat01 1

I have my setting for Marriage that spouse likes to share PC, when approached there is dialog to sell ones self to them but it doesn't work, they just say they are broke. Is this from this mod? I installed Approach redux and this mod at the same time although I don't see a way in either to "be a whore". Might as well as that is the favorite moniker being used. And while I am at it...Why don't they call him names?! In Breezehome he said I want to see your body, so she stripped...then he said Oh I suppose you just show that to all the guy's...prick! I'm sure I may run into a bug or two with her due have a lot of mods touching her aside from SDA, got RDO, AFT along with FG's AA. version plus a few SL mods which hit her dialog, then there are Marriable Serna, and an edited SL spouses enhanced. She'll likely marry Serana because she's the least boring npc in game (unless adding some custom one which has some 10k+ of dialog lines). Edited September 19, 2024 by eflat01 1

If you have a save before entry you can always come back into the place, There are a couple rooms in the place and sometimes the ghost wonders off to a idle marker, so search around...
