Halstrom Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 If you wait while an npc is giving birth, the NPC will still have a gestating offspring, and will not continue the birthing process. It seems to freeze their pregnancy and they just crab walk around everywhere. Hmm, I think that's because I'm still using an effect spell in one half of birthing scripts that gets wiped during fast travel / wait / sleep / etc. now I've trimmed the scripts down using NX I can probably get it all in one script again, I'll do that for next beta release I'm working on for this week.

Largely untested, just wanted to get it all down so I remembered what I've done Fix for NPC births failing by swapping Effect script to Token Fixes to Offspring Growth scripts Swapping of some more stuff to use NX variables Adjustments to reduce Belly size slightly and Deathclaw eggs Fixes to timing scripts to allow for time over 1 week or reverse time travel. Added readonly NX variables for FertCyclePercent, FertLevelPercent, FertCycleDuration & FertCycleFertPerc Fix for tokens not adding to NPC's during sex on MCM setting 3 Added new formlist for Setting 2 Group 2 NPC's populated from SCR's Possible Companions Formlist. Requires SexoutCommonResources-20131210.1 Requires SexoutPregnancyData 20131126 Took this file down as it had some show stopping issues I need to sort out. Also I had twice as many people downloading this without downloading the required SCR update
Halstrom Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 Can't get pregnant from deathclaws at all (player or NPC) I did not try and see if it was for all pregnancies. Also the birthing animation for NPC's no longer works. Should probably take this one down and test it a bit. I did not use a clean save. Hmm, I'll have a good look through it again tomorrow and hopefully sort those 2 issues. Ah found the ova scripts not running and fixed them, got to look into birthing tomorrow.

Fixed Bugs in Ova scripts Fixed Bugs in Birthing scripts Slowed down all Fertility, Ova & Pregnancy scripts, they now only fire every 30 game minutes, so chances of getting pregnant may be lower as check are done less often, I've made some adjustments to compensate but unsure how good they are. Requires SCR 20131210.1 or later
Halstrom Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 It took me a while to figure out what was happening but I think i got it. Pregnancy seems to be working great. I don't think it's the cause of the crashes. However, while giving birth, my player (and npc's also) seemed to be getting pregnant again before they finished giving birth. I'm sure I don't need to tell you how much your birthing (and the game) enjoyed that. it was also crashing when I was near NPC's that were pregnant. So there might be something there as well. Or maybe there were actually about to start giving birth, and that's when they crashed. I dunno. However if my character was alone and pregnant, she didn't run into any problems until she tried giving birth. So, good luck. And thanks for getting this all to work. I'm sure there's a good reason for the variable changes. tl;dr, game is crashing VERY often when around pregnant NPCs. edit: also, the matriarch cloak swapping hasn't been fixed. The large tit version still swaps to the small tit version once you become pregnant. And the 3 egg pregnancy is now ending in a p5, which is perfect. Ah sorry, I forgot about the Matriach issue completely, will fix that and look into the NPC Pregnancy issue, all my testing was with the player. Just put a fix in for the Matriach for next beta release of SCR & Preg, still looking into the NPC Pregnancy crash thing
Halstrom Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Ok, I created new B5 outfits for Breeders Matriach, and adjusted the swapping, the BnB outfits still exist but should change over on the next swap, I wanted to get the naming fixed without crashing your stuff using the BnB versions. There wasn't any swapping I could find in the beta to change the BnB to T3 version, maybe I had fixed it, but it's not through to the stable release yet. But now I do this so in your next release you should start using the B5 named version then I'll delete the BnB stuff in a few updates time. The NX variables themselves seem fine, and reduce a lot of code, now I can read NX_PregCount from any script, before I had to do a 30 line token count every time. I won't get much more done in the next few days, I do need to get this to beta soon, and stable before the Spunk release. It looks like it just unequips it and then equips the proper pregnant body. When you say equips the proper pregnant body you mean it swaps from B5 matriach to the B3 matriarch or swaps from the matriarch to nude body?
Halstrom Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 Just went in game and tested it. I have the p0 b5 version equipped. It just unequips it and nothing else happens. Very strange, I'll add it to the test box and have a play with it, I can't see why as I don't think I'm doing anything any differently than any other outfit, that's all the scripting there is for it as I showed above except there's P0, P1, etc versions of that same script. Aha found somethings in FNVEdit, first issue is P3-P6 for some reason were still pointing to the non BB meshes. Probably unrelated but I also hadn't added the Matriach to any of the normal AppearPregnant lists. Other thing I found is the BnB versions are used in your OkforMutation list according to my version of Breeder, you may need to swap them to the B5 versions in your update and there's a dialogue to change as well. Sorry about the name change of the asset but I've got enough confusion over BB & BnB in SCR without adddin new ones. I'll delete the BNB versions later when it's safe. Should only need a SCR update to fix it, I'll finish a couple of other things I'm tidying up and upload it ASAP.

You can be within 100 of an npc and still not in the same cell as them. Ah yeah I can do that, didn't realise it would measure distance like that, will set it up for next beta. If I understand Cells correctly, is all the open space in GoodSprings area a cell or a zone? Maybe I'm better going back to distance.

Hit B in the geck and you can toggle on the cell borders to see what I mean. edit: what you could do is check for if the player is indoors, then run the preg scripts regardless of where they are in the cell. Then when isinterior == 0 or whatever, base it on distance. Best of both worlds. Well, it's not the preg scripts I've changed, this only applies to the debugging messages, just so you get debugging from NPC's near the player or in the players cell. All the Fertiltiy/Preg scripts on NPC's still run regardless of where they are inworld. Previously it only showed them if they were within 900 units. I looked into Encounter Zones they are something different again, unrelated.

So far, I've gotten extremely lucky... in that nothing has outright frozen or exploded in some spectacular way while using Breeder. And when something does, it's usually pretty quickly addressed, so I don't tend to get worked up and panicked and run to the thread screaming bloody murder. I just wait patiently for an answer and continue along on my way. Of course, where everyone else is raving and hollering about how amazing the Deathclaw content is... I've been having a blast running around with 'Aria, Swarm Queen of the Flies' I really should figure out where Camp Forlorn Hope is and actually TRY the Deathclaw questline...

Seems to happen with the latest update and the one before it. I suspect it's one of your recent orgasm/semen changes but I can't tell you any more. It happens with deathclaws and humans. rolling back to 1212 and 1213 no longer crashes anything so it's certainly the update. Err and 1218 versions of scr and preg work fine as well. Have you done a clean save or can you try the same sex with just SCR enabled so I can narrow it down to Preg or SCR? How's the quickest way to get boned by a Deathclaw in Breeder, I haven't found their cave near Riverside yet

Cool, good news, nothing like fixing something without knowing how you did it I just reuploaded again it because I had forgot to copy over a pair SCR script edit in Pregnancy, shouldn't make any difference but you might want to download SCR & Preg again. Somehow I'd skipped my usual FNVEdit check before uploading.
