twsnider1138 Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Ok can somebody help me figure out what I’m doing wrong here? I get webbed up and start mashing WASD in sequence but no matter what I end up webbed. My sequence in the MCM is 1-W, 2-A, 3-S, and finally 4-D. I can get as far as the first W but then nothing happens. I’m also using a controller, not M&K if that makes any difference whatsoever. Thank you.
Tlam99 Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 you are doomed ! It is random which key works. Bad luck you always get the wrong one. Even if you found the right one, the next will be random again. Set it to easy, the the key pushing the web will do more movement than a wrong key. So you got a higher chance to push the web.

You need to figure out which key is progressing the bar and hold that one down. The correct key changes in random intervals (not every time you press a button). So as soon as you see the bar not going up anymore you need to figure out the next key.

(LL's search sucks at the moment)

Slitpipes Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 This mod is hilarious and one of my favorites by far. Spiders are terrifying. Exploring new caves and walking around the woods near Riften are nerve wracking experiences because I have the difficulty set beyond impossible. Getting tagged by a web shot leads to an endless loop of cocoon -> sex -> shibari -> cocoon. I roll around with a squad of 6 ladies just to not game over as often in a spider nest. Truly a riot.

Problem: Wearing the devices causes the whole torso, legs, and arms to turn invisible, leaving the head, hands, and feet. I am playing on SkyrimSE/AE I use this version of devious devices: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/5878-devious-devices-se/ I have built all of the devious devices stuff in bodyslide and all the rope devices from devious devices looks fine and dandy in game after thorough testing I use a CBBE body with a custom preset mod with physics mods. What am I doing wrong? Does this version even work with AE?

Also on this most recent attempt after setting some MCM values removing the webbing dismembered Alicia so there was even more oddity lol. The floating is a generalized skyrim problem, it tends to happens when the animation for getting up gets interrupted with some other action or animation call if I remember correctly, The no body is a missing mesh issue, are you using SE by any chance, I seem to recall that either the torso webbing or the the full body one didn't have a mesh in SE, most likely the torso one. To fix the floating it helps if you can ragdoll the affected actor. You can use pushactoraway 14 0 in the console to ragdoll the player character, and pushactoraway refID 0 where refID is the reference ID of your companion to ragdoll the affected companion. This happens to me often enough that I keep a push.txt file in the skyrim data folder with the console commands on it, you can then use bat push in the console to run the commands.
