Destiny42 Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 I am currently having trouble with SLAL not registering animation packs that i have downloaded, i have all the necessary mods to run them but after booting up a game and getting the basics set up i will wait for a couple min for items to load into the SLAL Mod organizer screen and i get nothing. I have re-downloaded both SLAL and JC Containers, but have had no luck, everything with fnis is fine and the packs are loaded into my data. If someone could shed some light it would be much appreciated
Dorabella Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Into MCM > SexLab Anim loader > enable all > register all. This step after install SexLab into MCM
anjenthedog Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 open SLAL MCM visit each of the installed animation packs and select each animation that you want (you can also just click a button to select all, but be careful that you don't end up exceeding animation max count) choose the general section click count animations - this will show you how many animations *are installed and how many are waiting for either registration or un-registration click the register animations button. wait for the registration to complete (a modal box will pop up to let you know it's done)
Destiny42 Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 I thank you both for the answers and it is my fault for not clearly stating my problem, in the picture below is all that my SLAL has ever displayed in my MCM, even after sexlab its self has been installed and configured. My issue is that nothing will show up in the MCM for SLAL.
anjenthedog Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Hmmm..... idk... All I can do is reiterate the basics. Presuming FNIS is installed and is working, Install SL (for SE) and the latest ver of Jcontainers (for SE) open game Make sure SL is fully installed and is working exit game Install SLAL for SE Install a simple test pack like Anub Human (for SE) (deployment *should call FNIS) open game wait for new MCM to be available (1 new menu installed...) Open the SLAL MCM Wait .... SLAL takes 10-20 second to load its content (ie beyond the MCM shell itself). It can *seem to be broken when in fact it's just a bit sluggish Now, you should see at least two sub entries, General Options and Anub Human PS> the only time that MCMs don't work for me is when dependencies aren't properly loading
Just Don't Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Which version of Jcontainer? I remember having issues using the ones uploaded on this site, grab the latest version from Skyrim SE Nexus (if you're on SKSE versiob 2.0.17). And as angen says, that menu might take some time to load (depending on the amount of animation packs installed and your system specs).
Destiny42 Posted June 19, 2020 Author Posted June 19, 2020 I have the latest version of J Containers from nexus and i dont know if like install order might have anything to do with it and FNIS does register the animations in the Generation
anjenthedog Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 FWIW I'm running under skyrim 1.5.97 and SKSE64 2.0.17 Jcontainers SE 4.1.12 SL Animation Loader 1.0 And yeah it definitely loads the SLAL MCM contents slowly. It *feels like* forever. (but I *think it's around 15 seconds...or so)
Just Don't Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Same here, no issues. And install order shouldn't matter because nothing should overwrite Jcontainers or SLAL (at least that's the case with the mods I have right now). How about giving that MCM a lot of time to load? Like go for a coffee while you're on that MCM and see if after a couple of minutes something appears.
Destiny42 Posted June 19, 2020 Author Posted June 19, 2020 I dont know what i did but it seems to work now. Thank you to everyone who helped me with this u peeps are the best
