You can create custom previews for your mods. For mod's folder files these files will be used:

You can also create separate previews for each .ini file of your mod. These files will be used:

/preview/[ini_file_name]_pic.jpg/png

/preview/[ini_file_name]_pic3.jpg/png

 

 

You can create description for your mods. This file will be used for description:

/*info.txt

 

 

Additionally you can create a custom name for your mod to show in mods' list by adding Name: in the first line of *info.txt

1) You must use .zip archive format, .rar and .7z won't work.

 

 

2) Your archive name should start with vvmm_ to indicate it is a VVMM compatible mod pack.

 

 

3) You need to put vvmm.txt file inside your .zip archive. This file will be used to get info about your mod.

 

 

First 4 lines of vvmm.txt will be used to get information:

 

First line should be the same as the name of your mod's folder. This one is the most important one, please set it right.

 

 

(optional) Second line indicates where you want mod to be installed. If empty - default \Mods\ directory will be used. You can specify any path, Mods\Costumes\SSR for example.

 

 

If your mod is Costume Customizer mod pack - you should only use first two lines. First line is same as folder.
Second line must be cc:pack.

 

 

(optional) Third line is hash data of your mod. This data can be used to show previews of .zip files. 

 

 

To quickly gather the hash data of your mod I made this little tool. Just select your mod folder and copy\paste hash data to vvmm.txt.

Hi, I got an issue "Seems like there's no connection to the server" Mod Manager Server is under maintenance/down or it is just me?

 

I've tried a few steps to fix but nothing works:

 

- Software running in administrator mode.

- Adding MMO in Windows defender and Antivirus software exclusions.

- Restarting the internet.

A little tool to patch DOAX_VV.exe to support more resolutions. Simply choose which default resolution to change. The DOAX_VV.exe will be backed up as DOAX_VV_backup.exe.

I tried using this for 5120x1440 but then it ends up with my mouse stuck in the middle square and i cannot click any of the UI on the sides.... is there a fix for this?

Hi avenger54,

I have just tried the mod maker:

I copied the files to the game root folder,

clicked Numpad 0 in game to start the hunting,

pressed F8 to get the frame dumped,

and clicked load button in the mod maker 0.7.1,

 

but there was nothing in the has list, is there anything I have done wrong? I'm using win10 by the way.

I still cannot get this to work. I have followed all the steps, and I still get no result. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, and can't get it to work. I'm lost, and confused.

Is that the same res as your desktop? This happens to me if my desktop res is lower than the game res. My guess is that VV is still technically windowed, so your mouse is limited to your desktop area.

Already explained, it's a false flagging by the windows defender. Mod manager is renaming your folders (that was the whole point of the app to begin with) which I guess some antivirus software can see as a threat.

I can ensure you there's no malicious code in the Mod Manager. With thousands of downloads there's not a single report of it doing anything unintentional.

It should work, make sure the ModMaker is in the same folder as your Venus Vacation exe file is.

Maybe specify which mod is problem will help. They working for me. You follow instruction for mod organizer and mod individual instruction? Some mod have enable instruction when highlight in mod manager after install. Thing like CTRL+1 to enable then use z+1 for variation or similar instructions. Other mod work by simple enable. Make sure you using correct swimsuit some have different naming I think to what is in game.

I seem to be getting different problems depending on which one I use for some reason. Website 2.3 leaves pieces on some modded outfits untouched, such as the skirt on the two costume customizer outfits, but then if I choose to update

I noticed a couple of your outfits went wonky with the new update. I don't think they are all impacted but there might be some shader you use that was changed. I'm lead to understand that a few more shaders were added in 2.3.3. I'm not an expert in those but I did try to notice the outfits as I see them. Unfortunately, RNGesus hates me and I don't have many outfits to do a large assessment in an effort to help out.

 

After the update I had massive issues where things were either dark, or the menu options had disappeared. I managed to fix it by doing a ctrl+alt+f10 which completely resets the .ini file. After that, it was just the odd costume problems noted above.

Updating components of 3dmigoto - fixed shaders (ShaderFixed folder), pre-defined shaderoverride section (d3dx.ini) impacts to all mods.

Also, custom shaderoverride/textureoverride section in a mod are shared to others.

The difference is I added some stuff in 2.3.3 which required for some of my and other mods to work. But it's very hard to test this with every mod. Before other people did updates on 3DMigoto so we always had a "definitive" version but now it's a bit messy. 

Can you please tell me which mods are broken and fine on both versions so I can check it out and maybe figure out what's wrong?

It's really hard to say without more information. If you have 3DMigoto installed and CC installed via mod manager it should work.
