The difference is I added some stuff in 2.3.3 which required for some of my and other mods to work. But it's very hard to test this with every mod. Before other people did updates on 3DMigoto so we always had a "definitive" version but now it's a bit messy.

Can you please tell me which mods are broken and fine on both versions so I can check it out and maybe figure out what's wrong?

It's really hard to say without more information. If you have 3DMigoto installed and CC installed via mod manager it should work.

Thanks for responding, I've only really noticed the Mod Manager patch breaking some of Minazuki's mods for me. If I can find the time I'd love to go through everything I have to show examples but, I can only really post a few I noticed swapping around.

Appetizer Shrimp
Both of these top two are with the regular sites patch.

The shirt comes off perfectly fine, but the stockings are still there at the most minimal toggle

Screenshot_8.png.c21dc63e09087897f4f6447e582244dc.png

These two are with Mod Manager's 3DMigoto
The shirt has that weird shadow on the first toggle, but the rest of the top works fine
Your patch does however fix the stockings not fully going away on toggle

Above is site patch, below is Mod manager.

The site patch works for the most part, everything toggles and the switches work. I can restore the costume fully with the mod, and almost fully remove it except for the small frills bugging out there.

With Mod manager I can restore most of the outfit, but the front of the bra can never come on at the same time as the panty, and the black straps never render in for the bra and panty.
Mod Manager patch does however fully remove those frills that are bugging out in site patch.

With this outfit it works pretty much normally on the site patch at the top, with just the white hem at the bottom being uremovable.

With Mod Manager the hem is gone at all times, her arms are partially missing. And the collar of her shirt doesn't render in besides the shadows for it.

Below is the collar toggled off with the mod

The site version at the top works pretty much fine, just some back straps that are left when toggled off

The mod manager version has the shadow for the skirt, and none of the bottoms every render in, just the shadow disappear.
The jewelry above her bra also never renders in, but the shadow disappears normally along with the rest of the top, no leftover strap problem like with the site Migoto as well

I hope this is enough to help figure out what's going wrong.

Sorry if this has been answered. How does one submit / add mods to the online database for Mod Manager?

(Edit: To clarify, I mean new mods which I have made, myself, and want to make available to other players.)

Just prepare previews and send mods to me, I'll upload them.

minazukis mods don't seem to work through mod manager for me on steam anymore

I'll try to update stuff once I'll have more time and figure out problems with d3dx.ini file.

I have some experience after 2 days of using.
_ I need to run a mod before the game at the first time (maybe). Then select the game folder, install the mod. After every chance like enable or disable, I must press F10 to update the mode on the game.
_ Somehow my game is usually slow loading or crash when entering a new battle. It may be because Mod tries to visualize enemy costumes too. Or able too much mod may cause this error.
--> only active few mods that you're using
_ When I able a mod that no effect, the game also false to load suit and crash again.
_ The problem is every time this game crash, I don't know the exact way to resolve it. I tried to reinstall the game, also reinstall the mod, disable all mods. Somehow it works again.
I hope you guys can share your experience using this tool.

A few simple suggestions on improving versatility of Mod Manager:

Current only descriptions named *info.txt and preview pictures name *preview.png/jpg is supported, but many modders in the community also use readme/instuctions.txt or suit.png/jpg. Could you update the regular experssion used by mod manager to support more file names likes these ?

Another thing is that current the delete operation built in mod manager delete mod file permanently rather than move to recycle bin, thus mod file could be lost by accident deletion. It would be helpful to implement delete operation as moving to recycle bin.

Thank You for past great work.

I used resolution patcher several times now I don't have original DOAX_VV.exe file so can't get back to original resolution.

And seems resolution don't change whether I change the resolution on patcher if patcher uesd too many times. :<

Anyone have the .exe file of latest steam version?

Just verify the integrity of the game's files.

If you don't want to lose your game and tan settings in that process, make sure to backup the savedata folder in \DOAX-VenusVacation\DX11_global_data\ first.

Well, initially I thought about previews being specifically made for Mod Manager so I didn't add support of other pictures and txt files, but it might work, yeah. For now I'm not sure there will be updates soon unless I'll decide to somehow change the logic of MM server but when I will I'll consider these improvements.

I recently reinstalled DOAXVV and went to download the stuff from here, and was able to download the base mod and a few others last night, but the connection then cut and hasn't been back up since. Did I somehow get blocked from connecting to the online archive?

I'm a total noob and I feel terrible for asking, but how does one enable game hunting mode? And what do I do to grab the frame?

in d3dx.ini find "hunting=0" and change to "hunting=2", reset  game

Then in game press "0" on numpad and then "F8"

Thank you so much, I am trying to use this system on Warriors Orochi 4.

Currently, when I dump the files all I get is a frame analysis of txt and Jpg.

How do I change the dump commands to actually get the important files I need in order to load the hashlist in modmaker?

My biggest issue now is not being able to load the hash/index list from the dumped files that I have.

Server is up and running, you should be able to access it.

I don't use modmaker and mod only DOAXVV,  but you can change what to dump with "ctrl+F8".  On the bottom left side of the screen will display what's going to by dump.

currently the mod manager database is missing considerable costumes that available on steam, and in the future there will be more coming from DMM to Steam.

Are you planning to update costume database? I am refering the local .dat metadata, not the mod database in the cloud server.

Is the Online Mod Archive supposed to be available automatically? I've installed, but when I choose to "Connect to online storage" I get the error "Seems like there's no connection to the server."

I've searched through this thread but haven't found anything specific.  Any thoughts?

I'd love to update it but I struggle to find time to do it unfortunately. Maybe one day.

The server is up and running, you either have Mod Manager being blocked by firewall or maybe for whatever reason your internet provider blocks the ip of the server.

Run from administrator, works for me.

ModMaker is a great tool to create a mod on just a few clicks.

I just made a menu for my SS mod to select suit with it.

Spoiler

ss-menu.jpg.d956276a5ea1f3d0d85d2f9eb0bd9fcc.jpg

One little suggestion is, if I edit a tooltip, can I keep the previously text?

Now the text box is always empty, it is a little inconvenience when you want to edit an exists tooltip.

Also, you can't use "|" on the text box, it will have problem when you load the menu, but it's not a big deal.
