I have an idea, I raised a batch of deathclaws recently and when they were all adults they were automatically harvested, I'm not sure if there is a way to mark one of them as breeding stock, like they would in real farms. I had this idea for a workstation you could assign creatures to, that women in the settlement could visit and get bred by the creature, of course if you didn't want one of them to get bred for some reason just give her a token to opt her out of the program. that way we could have a running farm without having to artificially impregnating the women, I guess this might be quite a bit of work though. idk, It would be really neat though, maybe special pens for the animals or just invisible workstations, idk.

but we would definitely need a don't kill token for the breeding stock.

I always seem to come up with the ideas, just never the know how to do it.

Anyone figure out the whole "player can't get pregnant" bug? It has pretty much killed the mod for me.

I can't tell if you're talking about the new one (if there is a new one), or the one I've had that was caused by being strap-onned down by a woman (which could be the cause of or related to the new one). I had my problem with the previous version, which I'm still using.

The problem denies me from exploring certain other mods which put women in the dom role 100% of the time even if they're offering themselves as 10-cap prostitutes. Luckily SEU allows a "swap roles" option that allows me to grow a temporary strap-on when I'm dealing with women, and frees up my womb for the various aggressive mutants.

Sorry to ramble.
Try jumping back in time to before you had a fling with a woman and see if your womb still works then, as long as you stick with men/monsters. If you've never been strap-onned down by a woman and it's still broken, disregard what I'm saying entirely.
The key thing to look out for is "I reckon my chances of getting pregnant are (number)%"
If you see this message, wait for this mod's cumflation to go away before checking whether you are pregnant or not through the debug menu.

If you don't see that message, and you've never had a chance to become pregnant from a woman, then it's a new bug.

Nah, new game entirely, and when I did get penetrated, it was by a deathclaw. The "I reckon" notification does show up, but even waiting 10 mins afterwards, I don't get pregnant. So it looks like I will have to wait until Invictus looks at again. I don't know whats up, as it worked in previous versions so yeah lol.

I've been leery of both of those mods, has BLTC improved in terms of reliability? (edit: I'm just waiting on it becoming more consolidated before I give it a go, and I'm pretty keen do so, just not, quite, yet... /edit)
As for Advanced Needs 2, that whole mod has been disappeared from anywhere that I can get reliable information from, so I can't check the comments section to see if there's people experiencing problems that don't sound investigable, when it was released, or when it was last updated (I try not to use mods that have been released prior to 2019 or not updated since 2021, aside from maybe clothing mods).

BLTC does cause me to crash sometimes but only when I'm talking to the npc in the mod, so I usually set the mod to use the normal addictol and ignore her.

So im currently having an issue where the "Lactation" perk does not exist or cannot be given to Player/NPCs.
Tried on multiple saves including new ones and old.
I have Tried the perk mag and the MCM Option.
All the other perk mags work.
ive also tried with v2.80, v2.80a & v2.830
Only Thing in the papyrus log that i can see is:

[03/15/2022 - 05:29:19PM] Cannot open store for class "INVB_PerkKeywordAdder", missing file?

Ive used both NMM and MO2 to install both WDF & FPE

I had something similar, I resorted to manually giving myself the perk via the console, which gave it to me permanently as it doesn't have a time limit, which I love.

I am looking into the lactation perk issue

question - are both of you playing as males or females?

also in the next update, I am making a new drug to induce lactation

Playing female, I'm the same one that was having her womb ruined by being fucked by women.

Female.
Managed to work around the issue by reinstalling and migrating my modset to MO2.
It might possibly be caused by the Fomod installer not extracting a file correctly.

Also a lactation drug would be great or possibly making the Mad Cow Syringes induce lactation aswell as it makes sense.

well I might post a new beta in the next couple of days with some fixes

but some of the perks are incomplete and are copies of each other (impregnation perk were copied into birthed Perks)

Agreed, I've got a small mod I'm playing around with where I'm likely to plug in use of the existing reproduction (fertility effect) consumable and breeder virus perk, I'd almost certainly also use a lactation drug if one were added.

Further, I see an opportunity for turning the internal reproduction consumable into a fertility drug. Could even call it Mommy-O (a play on the Daddy-O drug from vanilla FO4). Add it to the same leveled list as the contraceptives and condoms.

pardon my stupidity but it says at the top that Family planning is needed but then lower down it says its only for a few features so do I need family planning just to make a dairy out of my settlers or not because I'll be honest finding a bunch of knocked-up corpses everywhere is kind of a mood killer and I can't figure out how to get rid of them

Don't choose any of the "storyline" options in the FOMOD installer menu and they won't appear.

I will be adding a new version of the storyline addon to remove all corpses (except one or two, (the corpse from the federal ration stockade(or whatever it is called) because it is part of the story)

while the others are simple filler

btw I should mention that I decided to take a short break from modding (a week or two) hence the beta.

so I can clear my head

and make a plan for the future of the mod because my constant changing of critical scripts needs to be planned

I still miss the "Monster Cock Lover" perk from RSE:FAP, where taking melee damage from super mutants also appealed to your masochist/submissive side, and eventually any time you found yourself in combat with super mutants your lust would take over and you would compulsively surrender to them, just to get more of that monster cock.

At least with Better Living Through Cumistry, I now remain perpetually addicted to super mutant semen. Withdrawal symptoms are no joke!

I didn't dive very deep into this mod i just tested the sterilized blood kit on me and it did gave me a type A blood pack and a frisking permanant 20% healrate effect !!!( it was 10% and after refill, bounced to 20%)

So now i don't need to use any healing item forever (ruined my game)

ps

Sorry if this is a normal behavior.

it should have worked only once

I am adding two new perks per creature (number of Births(for example 10 births) & number of Sex(25 sex scenes))

and before the perks were overpowered, now it will be insanely overpowered.

so I will be reworking the perks to nerf them

so a few questions for interested players

1. are you happy with the naked idea of the perks? (the effects are doubled if you are naked)

2. do you want a single strength per perk? (for Aliens, it used to boost Int and luck and now it could int only)

3. are you fine with halving the amount of power given to perks? (or even further down)

4. do you know of any creature perks that do not work

edit->

I was thinking about having a primary perk and a secondary perk(that requires being naked) and reduce both to 1 (or a lower number for non special perks)

1. Naked perk would be good, but I'm not sure how it would boost the ones you're talking about realistically. Perhaps a Charisma bonus with people who have another perk given to them by having sex with them (even just once)? In other words, a naked Charisma bonus because they remember banging you - you could also add another one for people who you've had kids with, that applies regardless of whether you're restrained by clothing or not.

 - side question: do you think you'll look at and emulate the same "am I naked" mechanics as AAF Sexual Harassment, and count only the clothes as clothes, and not the armour?
2. Seems like a +1 is already a big bonus, even in late game when it would build a SPECIAL to above 10. (Thinking as a Dungeon Master from way back. I cheat, so bonuses for me personally are more like trophies.)

3. Same as 2, unless it's something more specific than a SPECIAL bonus, such as damage, or a resistance. I don't know how much the Father perks raise resistances by. I'd emulate the same numbers being used in the perk page, maybe listen to some chatter online about the vanilla game and avoid the numbers given by the perks people choose most.

I can't be the only one with an opinion here, wth.

This mod has so many different features that a lot of people using it are only interested in specific subsets, but which features a user cares about tends to vary widely.

My opinion is that the perks bring little if any utility to my playthroughs, I use this mod mostly as a replacement for the old Chosen Clue super mutant baby add-on, which no longer works with FPER. I like the temporary faction changes when pregnant and carrying babies, as well as the new ability to control aspects of creature pregnancies (chances, gestation time, morph power, viability) separate from those of human pregnancies, but would be just as happy turning off the rest of it.

There is a saying in German:

"What the owl is to one, the nightingale is to another"

For me, the different "milking systems" are important, in which I can "lock" my settlers - so that they produce raw materials or stocks for me

which are hard to get in game - like "blood" if my character is a vampire

or

"Gold" for the workbench so that I can create legendary weapon or armor upgrades (there is a mod for that, for example).

look, I started the first version of this mod, ages ago as a batch mod for Supermutants and Dogs. (crap I can't even remember some of the things I did in the early days)

this is out of order (because I can't remember the chain of events)

1. I decided to make a nonsexual version for myself for some reason

2. I decided to make wearable babies (and that led to other things)

3. I decided to expand the creature offspring when grayuser released his mods

4. I decided to start learning how to script and that led to the massive amounts of content

5. I decided to combine all of the mods into a series of framework mods (WDF)

6. Ego went on a break(personally I thought he was gone forever like so many others) so I took over FPE and expanded that(as well as making it buggier)

so in the end, I don't have a plan, I still don't (look I just added female DNA chance to FPE (it merely reads the racial perks from the mother so nothing special))

I do this for my personal enjoyment and as a creative outlet.

so in the future, I might look into level crafting so I can expand my storyline because why not.

Fair, my only real reason for using this mod is my creature pregnancies (including supermutants, ofc). I just like that there's other interesting things to play with when I'm between behemoth tinder matches.
