Installation marathon is stuck in the mud.

I've just recently joined the community.

It took me a whole night to figure out how everything works around here, but I'm getting the hang of it.

Howebbah, things have grinded to a full stop during SexLab framework installation.

During the "Update FNIS" phase, I got the following log:

FNIS Behavior V7.6 06/03/2020 10:13:14
Skyrim 32bit: 1.9.32.0 - E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam)

1365 animations for 5 mods successfully included (character).

 6 Warning(s).

I really do not know where to go from here and my big brain (sarcasm) is about to go on strike.

I should probably point out that

1) I am running LE on win7, not SE

2) I installed a few more things, before starting the framework installation, because I got so confused I didn't realize I was missing the core itself.

As coms77 said already, looks like you mix SE and LE or worse.

for LE:

XPMSE

FNIS

It looks like the wrong skeleton (242 bones) to me. You want this:

When you go to download it the one you want (for LE) is the next to the last (third from the top) one.

I already had FNIS & XPMSE

Howebbah, I also had Caliente and Bodyslide, which seem required but feel like too much. I don't know what to keep. I'm using Vortex tho so everything should be an easy fix.
I also used Vortex to install all the mods that allow to be installed with Vortex, so it's unlikely that I mixed any SE and LE (with the exception of SexLab Framework, which installation I didn't complete anyway).

I'm trying what Psalam's adviced. Got this:

FNIS Behavior V7.6 06/03/2020 17:32:46
Generator: E:\Vortex Mods\skyrim\FNIS Behavior 7_6-11811-7-6-1582308039\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe

Creature Pack not installed

0 animations for 1 mods successfully included (character).

 2 Warning(s).

P.S: Making sure that LE stands for Legendary Edition and SE stands for Special Edition. Because you never know.

It's telling you that FNIS is not installed in the correct place.

My path is:

Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe

That is telling you where it should be run from. I don't use Vortex so I can't be of more help on that.

NMM looks like this

50227747_FNISNMM.thumb.jpg.977198b5f1829c75ae7298f91debf7f7.jpg

And the skeleton is still incorrect. Should look like this:

Skeleton(hkx) female: XPMS2HDT (126 bones)   male: XPMS2HDT (126 bones)

Maybe that will sort itself out once you get FNIS sorted.

Thanks. I think I'm getting closer despite having moved from 2 warnings to 3.

You are using Skyrim LE and installed the Skyrim special edition version of SexLab, The LE version of Sexlab is version 1.62 and not 1.63.

Posted

Reinstalled twice. Doesn't work. Error message invariated.

ModManager clearly says 1.62 is installed.

I have a SE version of the game installed and modded by mistake but it doesn't have any Sexlab istalled so it shouldn't cause any conflict. I might try to uninstall Skyrim SE later.

So you have both games running? The FNIS Log you posted says you run FNIS for LE: (Skyrim 32-BIT) So you used FNIS LE for the Special edition, or Special edition Mods (64-bits) for LE.

Make sure you have SkyUI, SKSE and FNIS and that they are all for LE.

They were all correct. They are all correct.

I reinstalled all 3 to double down foolproof myself. (SKSE is also installed by Steam, so...).

Reinstalled Sexlab Framework, again. With a mod manager to be sure.

Launched Generate Fnis from a mod manager, just to be sure as it was demanded before.

And I've checked the following  error message again.

It still says 1.63, despite having installed 1.62 about 5 times now. I can read the difference between letters LE and SE. I appreciate the help but posting the same link again won't do.

My uneducated opinion is that so long I have failed to completely get rid of the old SexLab SE installation.

I have therefore purged all plugins from Vortex and deployed again. I'm aware that is little but I can't seem to find any better target: there is no "1.63" folder and all 1.62 folders are erased when I deleted (to be sure) and reinstalled the framework, so no file remains.

I am erasing all mods in SE installation so that they may not interfere... will try more attempty things later.

Are we sure that

The skeleton is now correct.

That output is still nothing like what it should be.

As for it still showing Sexlab v1.63 you must be doing something wrong somewhere. I don't use Vortex but are you sure that you are using it correctly and installing and uninstalling mods correctly?

PS. Post things like load orders here and not on 3rd party sites.

Where is this message from?

SKSE should not be in your load order at all.   If you mean it is last in your list of mods then that is where it is. I don't install SKSE through my mod manager so I have no idea where it should show up in Vortex.
