Hi, I've recently changed pc and lost my old mod folder (and probably my save but whatever).

This meant that I had to re-download all 172 mods... yay.

Downloaded them all, started a new game and it crashed at the crib part

Tried vanilla fallout, works.

Tried with F4SE, works.

Re-downloaded all of AAF mods from this guide... the game keeps crashing at the crib point.

The point is, my game crashes at the crib (as in, nate tells me to spin the rockets thingy and before I can do anything the game freezes and crashes after 1-2 seconds)

I'm confused as this is oddly specific, it doesn't crash when interacting with stuff or after a specific ammount of time...

I don't know if it's just in the prologue and the main game would be fine (I'll try backing up my save and trying to load it)

my current mod list (the one from the guide) is:

  Reveal hidden contents

-UAPv2.6.50

-AAF_V166-0 beta

-AAF_VanillaKinkyCreatureAnimations_Themes_V210819.0

-Address Library 1.10.163.0

-Atomic Lust 2.6.1b

-Body Slide 5.6.0

-BraveAnims 1.2.1

-Buffout 4 1.26.2

-CBBE v2.6.3

-Crazy_Animations (Mod Manager Gun Version) 3-11-17

-Discrete Female Skeleton 1.1

-Farelle_Anim_Mod_Dev 0.1.2

-FO4_AnimationsByLeito_v2.1b

-LooksMenu v1-6-18

-Mod Configuration Menu 1.39

-Mutated Lust v1.3

-Release_BadEnd_v01_05

-Release_CreaturePack_v03_01

-Release_CreaturePackDLC_v01

-SavageCabbage Animation Pack V1.2.6

-Snapdragon Animations_v1.1.0

-TBOS-BT3-June2022

-TortureDevices 2.2 Beta 3

-Vadermania[AAF]

-Vioxsis' Strap-On's of Fallout 4

-ZaZOut4 V0.0.3.2 Beta

-ZeX-ExtendedSkeletonV5

xSe_PluginPreloader downloaded and installed manually

I use Vortex and have F4SE installed

...I hope this problem was not brought up by somebody else and already solved...

...maybe I've overlooked something extremely stupid and that's why...

I just wanted to play some fallout...

First, I recommend seeking help on the AAF Discord as encouraged in this manual. Second, I recommend starting from an unmodded save just after exiting Vault 111 since the opening scenes of the game are sort of weirdly done and there are some mods which don't handle them well. Third, I recommend checking your f4se.log to make sure Buffout 4 is being correctly loaded, as it solves a lot of crash bugs and this crash you're experiencing might be one it's supposed to address already.

Sooo I decided to install that High Heels System mod, which required a separate skeleton mod. Which in turn fucked up the male skeleton, so now every sex animation involved their dicks/asses doing some weird stuff. Like extending all the way out, or just detaching and poking outta my character's mouth. Would that be as simple as re-installing the other skeleton mod, or would I need a compatibility patch for it? Thought it'd be easier to ask here, than try and explain in a more politically correct way on Nexus lol

When you installed HHS, did you turn on the AAF compatibility option in its FOMOD installer menu? Also, which male and female body replacers do you use?

I didn't see any compatibility stuff for AAF when I installed, but I'll re-install just to make sure. I'm using CBBE Physics and BodyTalk v3 Nude with the erection set to 0%. I'll update this when I can, thanks for the info ;D

Just re-installed HHS with the AAF patch and it didn't work; still got dongs levitating where they're not supposed to be -_-

Did you install ZeX skeleton?  Is it being Overwritten?
Don't use CBBE physics, rebuild body with just CBBE and use OCBP for physics.  Use DFS if you want knee fix.

If you still can't get it sorted, join the AAF discord.

Does Buffout 4 fix LooksMenu's v1.6.20 morphs issues and erections bugs with its option in Buffout4.toml - ''F4EE = false # 1.6.20 - Patches various LooksMenu bugs'' ?

Or we just have to use LooksMenu v1.6.18?

Thanks!

No, Buffout doesn't have any impact on the morphs issue.  You can try 1.6.20 + the edit and see if morphs work for you.  But if they don't then it is safe to revert to 1.6.18.

Occasionally we see people running the latest version and say they don't have erection morphs issues but it seems almost like winning the lottery.  Most need to use 1.6.18

Afaik because UAP has so far not been updated to support the latest versions of SC and Brave.

If you want to use those and UAP you could uncheck SC and Brave while installing UAP and then load after UAP.

But this will remove M/M animations for those packs, I mean if we install latest SC and Brave after UAP?

Right, unfortunately this is at this point of time the only possibility to use the latest versions of SC and Brave.

I will just add that I'm currently using 1.2.7 of SC with the current UAP and there's no ill effect on loading AAF for me.  But that has not been everyone's experience, so it is one of the reasons we have held off on changing the recommended version for this mod as we wait for UAP to be updated.  I have not tested the latest version of Brave yet.

Feel free to try SC 1.2.7 and see if AAF loads fully.  If not, you may need to revert to 1.2.6 if you want to maintain parity with UAP's changes.

I uuuh...just had to turn off the skeletal adjustments for CBBE. No clue what that was doing, but all the animations seem perfectly fine without it on. I did change back to the regular CBBE body though, as the physics did get a bit wonky at times anyways. Thanks for all the help on this :D

U can just rename each branches that has ' actor gender="M" ', as ' actor gender="" '; from existing animationdata xmls. Or set the config ignore_gender as true from aaf settings. By doing this u can play animations as unisex, no matter what gender is ur character(s).

I know, but I think some UAP's fixes, tweaks and gender specific adjustment will still be lost that way, I just installed Brave v1.2.1 and SC 1.2.6 for now, I'm not losing that much while waiting for UAP update.

I personally use this mod for Male textures:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37490

I use the BodyTalk, not sure if it works for Atomic Muscle or not. Male body doesn't have as many options for textures as female bodies do. As far as the Super Mutant issue, well...that issue has yet to be fixed. However, there is a mod that just came out today (at the time of this writting) that is trying to fix this issue. It hasn't been fully tested yet, but the video looks promising. Here is the link if you want to try it out:

Hope some of that helps out!

Since both male bodies (BodyTalk or Atomic Muscle) are based on EVB, any texture that supports EVB should work.  However there are only maybe 4 or 5 of them on the Nexus.

Have you tried 4k Hairy Men https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37490

As for super mutants, it's a known issue as they use a different skeleton.  There are 2 choices in the UAP installer:
Vanilla: Super mutants will be immediatly lootable but their erection will not work

Extended: Super mutants will have working erections but some work has to be done to loot them

When using Extended there are a couple of options for looting them

- Option A - Open the console with the ~ key, left mouse click the mutant you want to loot and use the following commands

disable

enable

The mutant will disappear in between but when they come back it will let you loot when you leave the console

- Option B - Save, exit game, load back in

Option A takes the least amount of time unless you just killed more than 10 mutants.  In which case you may find saving and exiting to be less effort.

There is another mod being worked on to fix super mutants but it is not ready yet.

Edit Not only did @psychoqwirk420 beat me by 8 minutes to the post, but linked an entirely new mod to try.  Thanks for that link!

I fallowed all of the instructions to the letter, I even looked for bug fixes or instructions outside of this thread for this specific problem, but it would seem no matter what I do the gentlemen in my game all have limp dick. Do any of you have the digital Viagra for AAF?

Note: Bodyslide Erection is set to 0 for BodyTalk as instructed and I tried deactivating the suspected mods like ZaZOut under troubleshooting.

My many thanks for any suggestions or solutions.

The guide recommends Looksmenu 1.6.18, is that the one you are using?  If not, you will need to downgrade to it.  It's in the archive section of the same download page on the nexus.

Edit: Please see my post below for a work around to the BodyTalk 3 crash.

Issue: Arturo (and anyone else wearing Dirty Army Outfit) is stretching!

Solution: Latest problem with Bodytalk was with Dirty Army Outfit that Arturo wears, it was stretching out because he is so buff he can't be contained there was a problem.  Please install the newest Bodytalk (TBOS-BT3-July2022-R2.zip) which was released July 24 to address this problem and batch build the male clothing again in Bodyslide (But do not build the Longshoreman outfit as that one may still have a problem.)

Here's my little quick and dirty guide on installing Bodytalk, just don't build the Longshoreman outfit.

*updated November 12, placed old edits in Spoiler as they are only if you were still using an old version and encountering these issues*

____ old edits below ____

Spoiler

Anyone else crashing at the crib scene with spouse with the latest BodyTalk3 installed (TBOS-BT3-June2022.zip)?

Edit: If you'd rather use Bodytalk, try reinstalling it and don't choose the pre-built clothing options.  After testing it appears that using the options in the spoiler below I'm able to proceed past the crib scene.  I was able to use the same initial save the game makes just after the mirror sequence, so that would not have to be repeated if you don't want to go through character creation again.

Edit:  If you are still crashing after rebuilding June2022R2 without outfits as indicated in the screen shot below, and you aren't getting a crash log, please report this to the mod author of Bodytalk at the following discord server in the #bt-support channel:

https://discord.gg/5AtTnzmfs8

Generally when people have gotten crash logs from this crash, the log has mentioned that it's related to cpb | skeleton.  But I am not able to verify if all those crashes are because of Bodytalk.

Edit2: The July2022 build seems to suffer from the same crash when zoning into Diamond City.  If you are getting this crash with July2022, reinstall it without the pre-built clothing as the screen shot below shows.

Important:  If you are using Vortex, and Batch Built the clothing from any of the June builds or this newest July build, you will have to figure out how to delete those built meshes from your system or you are going to keep crashing.  I do not yet have instructions on doing so.  If someone knows how, please post it here.

Edit3: A new version of BodyTalk was just released July 23rd to again address the crashing issue.  It was found via a user in the Fallout 4 tech support forum that it was Arturo's outfit (Dirty Army Fatigues) that was causing the crash, and likely was causing crashes with any other area someone was wearing that outfit.  The pre-built mesh was adjusted for that outfit in order to attempt to correct the problem.

** If you still experience crashes with this latest version (TBOS-BT3-July2022-R1.zip), and reinstalling without the pre-built clothing resolves that crash for you, please contact the mod author of BodyTalk via their discord to report it (and drop us a note here or on the AAF discord as well if you wouldn't mind). Include your Buffout Crash log as well if you get one. **
