This only seems to be happening on males only, as i havnt seen it happen on any females, but it is a bit annoying

Known issue.  Please install the newest Bodytalk (TBOS-BT3-July2022-R2.zip) which was released July 24 to address this problem and batch build the male clothing again in Bodyslide.

 

If the issue persists:  Delete all built male clothing and make sure that the clothes are being built on the new version of Bodytalk.

And if it's still happens after that, please report the issue to the mod author.  I have been tracking the problems with the June / July updates to BodyTalk here and their discord link can be found in my post.

Encountering the same issue with the army fatigues.

 

So I might be dumb but I can't for the life of me figure out how to batch build outfits for BodyTalk. I've checked to confirm that I do have Bodyslide files for bodytalk installed, and I do, but only female bodies appear in the preset bar of bodyslide... Never had to build anything for male bodies before so I'm kind of lost. Is there a button to switch to male bodies that I'm missing ? Or am I missing a step ?

 

Any pointer would be appreciated.

1. When installing, don't check the pre-built clothing.  You should install the skin textures on the page after it unless you are using some other skin texture and don't want it.  2k is fine.  It should look like this on that 1st page:

Here's what I selected on page 2 of the installer:

2. Check my spoiler picture below because next we are going to build the body.  It's all about clicking that ? on Groups and picking BodyTalk3 - Bodies.
First you'd need to "build" the male body so that you have a preset with which to batch build the clothes from. 

- Make absolutely sure that all Genital and Penis sliders including testicle are at 0% and that the build morphs box is checked. 

- You can click Preview to see the body you selected

- Then you press the big Build button.

Now you have created "malebody.nif"

Next we want to just click that magnifying glass for groups again and change it to this (and then click OK):

If you click the drop down for Outfit / Body you should see a bunch of outfits in there:

Again, make sure Build Morphs box is still checked and that the preset you already built is still showing up under the "preset" field.

Now press Batch Build...

 

Once it's done processing you can close Bodyslide.

 

See if that works for you.

i have this issue with modern armors after upgrading bodytalk 3 July update and zex skeleton 5.0 anyone know how to fix this issue  ? bodytalk 3.15 and zex skeleton 2.0 looksmenu it worked correctly.

Are you specifically running BodyTalk July2022R2?  There's been 3 different July versions.

If you aren't sure, then you should just download the latest file and install it with the instructions earlier in the thread.  See if that resolves the issue.

Since I'm doing a complete reinstall: So you shouldn't activate this pre-built clothing? I have always activated everything. Was that wrong?

From the reports that I have gotten, the pre-built dirty army outfit is still a problem.  So, theoretically you you could try installing the pre-built and if you run into a problem delete the affected mesh and carry on.  But I've been telling folks to just avoid the pre-built still just in case there are other problems still.  I think even building the clothing via bodyslide, the longshoreman's outfit is still bugged, I'm not sure if that outfit in particular has a problem in pre-built as well.

It worked for me, Arturo looked normal. I did, however, build the body. I'm curious, if necessary I'll reinstall BT again.

So I thought these settings would do something different.

Thanks for testing it.  It's possible that the couple Vortex users I worked with that continued having a problem with the pre-built army outfit had some glitch in their mod manager and still had the previous version meshes somehow which made it seem like there was still some problem.  It's been a while since anyone spoke up about it on discord so perhaps it is ok after all.

The Army outfit is ok, but the same problem occurs with the Longshoreman outfit. Unfortunately, the method described here cannot fix it.

Yep, this has been reported to the mod author for Bodytalk as it is something they will need to resolve.  The only work around is to delete that mesh and then it won't look like that in-game.  I don't know which mesh it is, but if you build just that mesh and use ctrl click in bodyslide you can output to a different path and see what it is called and then search for it in your built mesh folder and remove it.

I selected Swimmers in BT3. I suspect that was wrong. Do the male clothes have to be created with Zero and Morph as well?

If you dont have bodygen for males then you can build male clothes without morphs, base male nude body with morphs

I only have ZeX-ZBG installed. Apparently only Dan is affected by this, the clothes of all other men also morph. I didn't even know until then that Bodygen was also changing men. In principle a pleasant change in the Commonwealth.

No, that's beyond my ability. I'm waiting for a fixed version of BT3.
