gerra6 Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 a bunch of kudos just for you. Time to update my outdated setbody. I hope you enjoy it. Please let me know if you encounter any bugs. Oh, and please hook me up with your new BB Butt skeleton once you get the kinks out. I have grand plans to re-weightpaint all of the Setbody Reloaded lower bodies (and include them in an optional folder) to take advantage of your new animations (once you release them, of course).
gerra6 Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 Still can't get my chars to look anything like that... Like what' date=' exactly? Are the bodies not being set properly? Or are you referring to the custom races in the screenshot? [/quote'] The bodies are ok, but the faces are still... bad. I'm sorry to say it, but this mod does not touch faces in any way. It's strictly a body mod. There are, however, tons of cosmetic mods out there for making NPC's and your character look just about any way that you want them to. Since many lovers mods depend on MBP++, many folks here use that one combined with MBP based NPC replacers, but there are tons of others to choose from. The three NPC's in the screen shot are custom companions. Most of the resources that I used to make them are linked in the very bottom of the first page. However, they are not part of this mod, and most of them depend on resources that I do not have permission to distribute.
legit1337 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Sorry Gerra, I've been wanting to sit down and give this mod a thorough going through for bugs, but I haven't had the time. Working + trying to learn trigonometry, C++, and unix for school, plus all of the homework that goes with it is wearing me quite thin. I haven't even had a chance to play any videogames . I'll release a bug report when I can.
0olong Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 OK, I'm going to re-install my Oblivion... what would be a good place to start since I'll just download anything and muck it all up.
gregathit Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 OK' date=' I'm going to re-install my Oblivion... what would be a good place to start since I'll just download anything and muck it all up. [/quote'] Here: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=11051
gerra6 Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 OK' date=' I'm going to re-install my Oblivion... what would be a good place to start since I'll just download anything and muck it all up. [/quote'] That depends on you and what you want, really. Some people like Xeo Other people prefer Colourwheels NPC overhaul And there are plenty of other cosmetics mods out there. The thing to remember is that, generally speaking, they are not compatible with each other. It *is* possible to beat them with Tes4Edit until they agree to get along, but its not an easy process. Then there are mods that simply add NPCs but (generally) don't muck with vanilla NPCs, like From 2 chan lives (MBP Required). So, if you decide to go the Xeo route, or use any mods that depend on Modular Beautiful People, you'll have to install MBP++. That...can get ugly. Check the Xeo thread for information on how to do that. And if you install MBP++ you must (absolutely must) use wrye bash, get your load order absolutely perfect, and create a bashed patch. See the appropriate threads for instructions on how to do all of this crazy stuff. For their part, Setbody and Autosetbody reloaded are pretty chill. You can install Setbody and Autosetbody in any order, uninstall them in any order, and put them anywhere in your Oblivion load order. All of the requirements save two are just recommendations. OBSE is an absolute requirement. The mod will not function without it. You also need a compatibility skeleton. Beyond that, I highly recommend installing some sort of HGEC compatible female texture and some sort of Roberts compatible male texture so that bodies don't look too fugly. BBB animations and BB Butts animations are entirely optional. If you want boobs to bounce, install any BBB animation packages that you like. *Edit* I just saw gregathit's reply. His link is much better than my mini list of recommendations *2nd edit* MBP is not required for Xeo, after all
0olong Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Thanks! I will see to this and let you know how it goes.

[/quote'] That depends on you and what you want, really. Some people like Xeo (MBP required) Actually, Xeo is completely independent of MBP. You do not need to install MBP at all. Now if you want to run most of the lovers with PK mods....then yes you will be needing MBP and MBP++. If you do decide to install Xeo then do yourself a favor and install XeoSP++ as it is very compatible with other race mods since all its files are stored in a bsa file. Cheers, Greg

Me, I've been busy tracking some very unusual behavior in the nifscripts export script, all in pursuit of the perfect seam. And somehow that got me roped into the Niftools project. I've got a ton of learning ahead of me if I want to be even remotely helpful over there. I suppose it's like everything else, though. Learn what you can, focus on what makes sense, and expand from there.

gregathit Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Install growlf's universal skeleton: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/37596
0olong Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Fixed! Now I need to get the armor loaded right...
legit1337 Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I have my math midterm next Monday and a large programming project due on wednesday, then things should quiet down on the school front for me at least for a little while. Any plans to release an updated version any time soon or should I start looking for bugs in the current version?
gerra6 Posted October 19, 2012 Author Posted October 19, 2012 Could you mix open-pussy meshes into it? Got any meshes that you want me to add?

Setbody probably won't get much attention until I'm done scripting it.
morvo Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Is there a version of TamagoSetBody that works with this?
121break Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Wow. I've been looking for a mod like this and I'm sure many others have as well. I tried to make my own version of this some time back. It worked but was WAY Smaller than this. Thank you for the tremendous effort it took to create each individual mesh and then everything else to go with it! No flaws found yet.

gerra6 Posted October 22, 2012 Author Posted October 22, 2012 Is there a version of TamagoSetBody that works with this? All versions of TamagoSetBody should be compatible. However, if you don't use a clean save, any individuals whose bodies have already been set will display missing mesh errors until the next time TamagoSetBody sets their body. You can fix this by casting the setbody spell on them and selecting the appropriate pregnancy mesh. Are you having problems?

Well, once I finish the transformation lattice generator

[/quote'] That makes sense. I just double-checked the esp and with the 1.20 release I swapped out the fullbody pregnancy models for separate upper, lower, hands, and feet nifs. The upshot is that nude clothing item your character had been wearing (the setbody nude meshes are treated as clothes by the game) no longer exist. Once you hit the third trimester, TamagoSetBody will send a call to Setbody that should give you the updated meshes.
morvo Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Yeah, just quickly waited till 3rd trimester and it did change the body, sorry to bother you but thanks the help ^^
