I was exploring the preg resources and found, well... a lot of unused things.

Also, I feel kind of uncomfortable sawing off feets just to remove clipping issues on some of the preg meshes... So I just removed them boots and shoes and some unnecessary pantsus (Magically getting accessories on the preg mesh was weird, but I guess you can't help it if the preg meshes don't come with the heeled versions... Oh well...

With the latest version of pregnancy, are those, erm... extra preg meshes (e.g. dat larve mesh, that p0-p3 egg thingy) used in any way? the larve thing is easy enough, but that p0-p3 thingy I have not dived deep enough in the preg scripts to find it's current use.

Nobody has to reply to this, I was just curious and needed to post something,

I tried that, game won't start. I get the "menu won't appear" issue that happens when you have esms out of order.  Game fires up, loading screens appear, cursor and menu buttons don't. If I load Preg bBefore the DLC's, it works but no MCM menu.  After the DLC's (or anything else), the menu won't load on game startup. Pregnancy is the only ESM doing this.  It defies my diagnostic abilities.

Well, not much I can do, for some reason your game install is behaving differently to most peoples. Unless I somehow make my install behave like yours there's no way I could diagnose this problem.

The p1-p3 egg thingy is a standing birthing sequence for eggs, I never got it to work. The larve was something I meant to get larve to wriggle on ground as actual creatures, but never got to it.

The animated belly for larvae, like the one used in the bloatfly quest in Sexout Breeder, is my favorite, I wish it was used outside of the bloatfly quest, because it seems pretty well made, even then, I never seem to be able to get past p-3 with bugs and larvae because they are faster and smaller pregnancies.

Use wryeflash and spend some time sorting your mods. There should be numerous guides on how to sort your mods and if needed, change the master list order of mods who doesn't follow the chronological order of nv and fo3 esm's using fnvedit.

Anways, find a sorting guide. And sexout stuff needs a minute or so to finish running their scripts. Preg doesn't appear on mcm until the first pass notif pops out... but if using offspring and drugging, wait for those 2 to appear too

Download and install L.O.O.T. (https://loot.github.io/)

Run it on your FONV install and accept it's suggestion.

it is not completely failsafe, but it will fix (at least) 95% of potential load order problems

Thanks, will give these a try and report back in a couple days.

Maybe it's just me, I don't know the only way I have seen it is with the bloatfly quest in breeder, though usually if I try something like lets say cazadors I "might" get to preg 1 before its birthing time, because they take like a few hours to develop it seems, if I change the pregnancy length, with that make the belly sizes different? like if I have it set to like 5% they go really fast and you get to p1 maybe, if I set it to like 100% it would take longer, would the belly grow bigger as well?

nah, 1% can still give you all the preg stages, albeit a bit faster that usual.

5-10% should give you enough time to see all the stages. just remember to set the preg limit to 6.0, because any further will use the p7 mesh which isn't really that great.

Uh, Halstrom-sama, I think cutting off p7 would be a feasible idea? there aren't much p7 resources except the nude mesh anyway...

I actually like the p-7 because it is something that can be used in the most extreme cases, like multiple bighorners or deathclaws, it fit well with the whole breeder thing

Also when someone gets that big.. they really can't wear anything but a tent :P In real life they wouldn't even be waking.

and in my humble opinion it seems a waste to cut something like that out of the mod, I mean I assume it took some work to make that, so removing would... well, take away from the mod :P

If people don't want to use P6 or P7 they just have to adjust the size limit slider, that's what I added it for, the other option is try not to get knocked up by BigHorners etc :)

So no need to remove the assets. Now all that is needed is some simple clothes to be added. Maybe a MooMoo for those with Bighorners. :P

I remember at one point pregnancy had a baby model for a persons back it looked like it was taken from fallout 3's the pitt DLC but now when equipping a baby to my back or NPC's back there is a missing mesh?

Last I seen it was there. Make sure you have all the required resources installed properly. Might just be missing the textures or meshes.

I have some bugs, not sure whether they came from this mod or are a result of a conflict with an other mod. It seems that all offsprings are misassigned ( right term ? ).

1. all small children are following my char, whether my char is parent or not.

2 All names a gave them are forgotten as soon as I boot the game the next time

3 when my female char is pregnant, father and(!!!) mother of this unborn child are allways Chet ( according to advanced med scanner ), even so my char had never sex with this NPC

any idea what might cause those problems?

I have not an other pregnancy mod installed, and I did not had those problems one or two month ago, before the last update of this mod.

The only other mod I updated frequently is Sexout intimacy, do they conflict with each other? ( you can rename generic NPCs in that mod, maybe this is causing confusion ? )

Number 1 is normal, it was immensely complex to code remembering whose parents are who etc and somehow get them to follow their actual mum.

Number 2 has never been reported before that I remember, but I never understood how the naming code supplied by someone else worked.

Number 3, I've never tried that mod and its possible its a bug at my end too

When I coded all that a long time ago it seemed the only way with my limited programming skills, there's probably a better way of doing it now but as I no longer play FONV so won't be modding til FO4 arrives, I'm not interested in doing so, anyone else who wants to take over is welcome to do so, I'm happy to answer questions on how my craziness worked :)

What,

No more updates for Pregnancy and SCR?

I doubt it, as soon as FO4 is released I'll be busy playing that anyway :)

It IS a Bethesda game, so you will only be able to " play " it until you hit one of their infamous game release bugs/ctd's.

And upon checking other sites I frequent there is already a huge amount of people working up ideas for F4 mods.  Some already creating things that they hope will be usable by the new creation engine they will release early next year for it.  And here is hoping ( as you staited in another thread ) that since the base game already has a pregnant female and baby in it, that it will be slightly easier for pregnancy mods.

Since someone mentioned equippable babies:

Turns out you can use babies to repair your armor if you have the Jury Rigging perk. I'm not sure if I should feel bad about that.

That's weird, I have no idea how babies are being added to the 100 odd repair lists...

when I used the father reference I kept getting that as well and found in SexoutP2SOvaUDFPregCheck

Begin Function {rActor rMumOva rMumOffSpringM rMumOffSpringF iOffSpringMaxMum}

Set rDadRef to GSChet ; *** need to get right info from spunk later

I left it in in case a value was ever added.

I could have sworn mother REF was showing correctly.  I'll get my char pregnant and try again.

Ah well yes that would explain why Chet is the dad, I probably had to set it to something for testing, I never finished that code by the looks, Spunk probably has the info in an array somewhere needed to replace it, never worked out how to get it.
