A few additional notes about it:

  • Feedback on improvements to these scenarios is, of course, welcome. However, I probably won't do anything to make these scenarios extremely elaborate. Even as simple as they are, the quest wound up being unexpectedly tricky to test.
• Fixing The Main Course to account for a vampire player proved to be quite a bit more trouble than I anticipated. Again, please be on the lookout for bugs and report them if you see them.
• I have removed the "early access" tag from the mod. Again, nothing has really changed about its status as pre-1.0, but I think it was still causing people to be more afraid of trying it out than necessary.
• Some of the changes will make the audio in the voice pack not match the subtitles. The subtitles are correct.

If you want to do it the right way, then it will happen when you enter a brothel at the point when you also unlock all the other special Dibella's Garden jobs - 1,000 gold lifetime earnings. Each time you do it, it will be available again 3 game days later.

 

If the NPCs in the quest don't leave the brothel on their own, you will need to leave the brothel to trigger the 3 day countdown. I plan to fix it later so that they'll just always leave when the job is done, but for now that's the way it is.

So, the 5 variations you talked about is like the play with the Argonian? They happen randomly?

Yes. If you want to force one of them to happen then after the NPCs appear you can use:

setpqv tapqdgjobs03 scenariotype <1 - 5>

 

Where of course the last bit is the number of the scenario you want to try out. The scenarios affect what the main NPC in the job says when you ask him why he hasn't been with a woman, what options are available for you to say to him, and how difficult it might be to get everything you can out of the scenario. Some of them offer more opportunities for bonuses to speechcraft than others, while others are just do the job and get paid. You can also take routes through them that will result in neither speechcraft nor payment, depending on the scenario.

 

Also, if using that console command, don't do it after you've already talked to the young man, or you may break something. It's only safe to do before that conversation.

Talk to the madam in any of the brothel locations. You don't need to keep careful track. It happens automatically. Also, you can see the details on the Stats page in the MCM menu.

Considering there is not involvement of followers (atm), here are a couple of ideas:

 

- Female Player NOT working for DGB ---> buys a girl for a Male Follower

and/or

- Female Player working for DGB ---> offers discount for a girl with Male Follower -- OR -- offers herself FREE once for a Male Follower.

 

Another one could be:

- Female Player working for DGB ---> ask to Female Follower to temporary replace herself for one night/day. (Answers depending on number of quest/dungeons/kills done, maybe?)

I might try to do some stuff with followers. I'm not really crazy about whoring out your female followers, because Lydia's sworn to carry your burdens, not take a stranger's dick just because you said so. I'd want there to at least be a difficult speech check or something that you have to pass or some kind of lead-in.

It should, yes. That was where I did most of the testing to make sure it would start again after the 3 days had gone by.

• Enough time has passed since last time this specific job was done

• Another story manager job quest isn't already running (this is the only one right now)
• You've earned at least 1000 gold working for Dibella's Garden

• You work for Dibella's Garden

I managed to get it working, pretty nice quest!

 

I had some 'trouble' to get it to appear but perhaps it was my fault. Once I reached the 1000 gold stuff, I talked with Jerna and got the paper with the special jobs. I decided to test it by going to Solitude's brothel (since I had to enter a brothel) and they appeared as soon as I entered. Before I went to the bed I decided to reload the save in Whiterun (because I remembered that I didn't have a Solitude license so to avoid bugging the quest later), thinking that instead of traveling to Solitude, I could just leave and re-enter the brothel in Whiterun. But then it didn't work. I tried reloading the saves but no matter how many times I entered the brothel the father and son didn't spawn. I quit the game and launched again, I left the brothel and thinking that perhaps I should wait outside, I waited like 12h in game and when I entered, they finally appeared there.

 

So, other than that, I should mention that the quest became apparently doable in Solitude when I didn't even work there before nor did have a license.

 

But I think everything is working smoothly.

Thanks for the report. I'll have to try that sequence out and see if I can break it myself.

 

I'll also clean up the fact that it doesn't check licenses for 0.9.

If you mean load order, I'm not aware of this mod needing to be anywhere in particular, though that would probably depend on what other mods you have installed.

 

But I can tell you for sure that I haven't edited the College of Winterhold at all, so if you have a crash happening there it is unlikely to be anything this mod did.

I don't know how to put it more simply: this mod doesn't edit the College of Winterhold. Full stop. I even double-checked in SSEEdit after you reported this just to be sure I didn't have any wild edits somewhere, and I don't. If you are experiencing crashes specifically there, then there's almost no chance that this mod is responsible for it.

 

You are also the only person to report such an issue. If you can point me at a specific compatibility issue, I can look at it, but with the info you've given all I can tell you is that I haven't touched the College. It is very likely that your specific mod setup is the problem.

Not officially right now, no. I'll look into adding quitting mechanics for 0.9, because it's come up a few times from people now.

 

The idea is eventually supposed to be that you get some extras in return for those costs, but I haven't implemented it all yet.

 

If you want to turn them off and don't mind using the console, it should stop checking debts if you remove yourself from the factions:

 

Dibella's Garden (replace xx with load order value for mod):
player.setfactionrank xx00aa1d -1

Benjen (replace xx with load order value for mod):
player.setfactionrank xx20ab22 -1

 

Also, be aware that you will not be allowed to work in DG brothels if you remove yourself from the faction.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but if you're asking if there will be an employer with no benefits at all or an employer with no downsides at all, I don't really intend there to be.
