I went ahead and updated my voice pack with all the remaining voice lines for a grand total of 47k voice files or so.  The remaining voice files were not curated though so quality varies from excellent to not excellent.

Updated the voice pack:

 

* Corrected pronounciation for Jarl, Daedra, and Fjotra

* Regenerated MaleCommander

* Generated voices for the unique voice types (My original release had them but somewhere along the lines I accidentally deleted them)

 

As far as I know, this should cover all voices in the mod.

This is unrelated to this mod, but would you consider doing the same for 

I think the voices ( except for a few done by voice actress) are done by really early version of AI, really hurts quality of the mod.

I probably won't do that, my apologies.  Not to hijack this thread, but voice packs do take a lot of effort and feel uniquely unappreciated.  So I make them only for mods I use or as gifts to mod authors whom I appreciate as I have no other way to show my appreciation.  TAP falls under both categories so I made a voice pack but I do not use LoveSlaves so I'm unlikely to make a voice pack for it.

For anyone else getting message that the .Json files for this mod are missing, it is because Papyrus Util. files are being overwritten, dont let any other mod overwrite papyrus util files

In my opinion, people have become accustomed to the quality of xVASynth voices, but we also need to consider the current aversion to AI in general. Computer parts have become more expensive, and AI in Win 11 is being forced upon us (Microslop say ‘hi’). However, your voices are better than those from xVASynth, but as you wrote, they take time and, unfortunately, do not receive the appropriate thanks from the users themselves. BUT! Look at the number of downloads and that will give you an idea of whether users like it, because otherwise they wouldn't download it, right?

 

And unfortunately, people are not as eager to evaluate someone else's work as they used to be, and when they do write, it's about technical issues or requests for an older version, because that's what the modlist says ;/

I think I've seen the opposite.  I hear a lot of comments completely disdainful of xVASynth, calling it trash when it was all we had until the AI revolution 3 years ago.  I have the utmost respect for xVASynth and still use it for some things.  The author of it walked so others can run, I think.

 

I don't know about other mod authors, but I kinda push these out also just for engagement.  Numbers don't really mean anything, I like comments, good or bad.  But no one really has much to say for a voice pack so I'm grateful to you and Gristle and ruddycray for letting me make voice packs for your mods and the small bit of engagement I get.  Even though I vaguely recall ruddycray saying he doesn't even use my voice pack >.<.

I am sorely tempted to tackle the giant amount of dialogue in SexLab Fame Comments next, which I know would take weeks to complete, since it's such a beast.  But before I commit, I'd like to try refining my current models but for that, I need engagement on what's broken.  Or even better, I can stop tweaking my modlist and finally play the game again.  I suppose that might help lol.

I really appreciate all the hard work of you @kamithemoon and other voice pack authors. ❤️

 

I know that some players don’t care for voice packs, but I cannot imagine playing without them. Voice packs make the game feel alive for me.

I've done the Solitude prostitution license quest and did not hire Kella.   I know if you hire her for that quest she will join the brothel in Solitude; what happens to her if you don't?  I've been looking for her since and I cannot find her.

I actually do use it and am always thankful when someone puts in effort to build on something I have made because they enjoy it. I can truly think of no higher compliment :)

 

I can also say that I understand the feelings. Early on I was very uncertain how this mod was being received.

To be completely honest I don't remember. It's possible that I disabled her if you don't choose her but I don't think I did. I would have to look to be sure. If she's still around she's probably just permanently a beggar for now. I think I had other ideas for her because I do seem to like making things harder for myself by letting people choose different outcomes, but I don't think I ever actually did any of them.

Thanks.  If I marry her while she's a beggar, before doing the Solitude quest, would that keep her from joining the brothel?  I noticed her having dialogue for offering to marry her but I didn't check in Manipulator to confirm her as marriageable.  I see her as a sympathetic character so I'm a bit curious as to what options I have with her if she's not at the brothel.

I haven't done anything like that. You can't marry her as it stands in the game. I was poking a little bit at how shallow marriage is in Skyrim with that dialogue choice.

You absolutely will be, and I apologize that it's taken so long. The only reason you haven't already been added is that it's been so long since I've been able to make a release. I hesitate to touch the page when I'm not doing one because I've had it do weird things before when I do that.

Regarding Riften. Is it worth getting a license there, or will it break my game? Is there a way to get rid of Black-Briar? The thing is, I want to get a license to complete the quest to buy licenses throughout Skyrim. And then just do other things. I don't plan on hanging around Riften, much less running around paying for it.

Just do what's required. Some you buy, others you have to complete missions .

You don't have to stay in Riften . Just as you’re not obligated to stay anywhere . Licenses are there so you can work as a prostitute without breaking the law and ending up in jail

Without a license, you won't be able to work anywhere.

If you go in you can buy your way out, but it's expensive. No, there's no other way to get rid of him.

I've never used the CK before as it doesn't work for VR, but I recently ran into this picture guide on how to set up dialogue to reduce bloat and help out us humble voice generators.  If it is not too much trouble and does not delay your future releases, would this be something you could implement?  It is especially needed for scene and faction dialogue (especially guard factions).

 

With my latest voice pack, I was forced to batch build the voices, due to the sheer volume of them.  But if each dialogue could have voice type conditions placed on them and all bloat eliminated, I could potentially make voices in much higher quality and emotional tone should you feel this is worth your time to do.

I think I've already put all the conditions on them that I can put on them and have them still work. I don't remember if I've released all of those modifications yet, though.

I'm having trouble with NPC in the Dibella's Garden brothels. Some NPCs (of both gender) seem stuck, like they're trying to pathfind toward each other but can't. Moving them via console doesn't help. Others are stuck standing on a bed, and they warp back when I move them. They all say "Not now, I'm busy" (or whatever the line is).

 

I am using the OStim version and many other mods, so anything could be causing the problem.

 

I tried to fix the problem for the future by disabling the automatic pairings. However, several NPCs are still stuck and I don't know how to unstick them. It would be nice to prevent the problem from recurring, but I'd be happy just to reset the NPCs somehow. I think that some of them have been stuck for many hours and I don't want to lose all of my progress since I first entered the Garden.

I sympathize, but I don't know how to fix the problems with OStim. I don't use it, and it's not officially supported. If anyone else has encountered the issue, hopefully they can help you out.
