Both? Your game gets bricked, the message box conflicts with the VR game menu and locks the game. You get around it by closing the VR menu ASAP. I think Wintersun by Enai has an example how he disabled the message with a patch, Prob not to many VR users with that special mod combo though. 

 

On a off topic, skyrim.net mod and the Severactions + loverslab addon on discord has breathed life back into Skyrim again. That's why I am dusting of old classics. Blows immersive role play out of the water now that you voice chat with NPC and convince them to... do exotic activities.

 

Edit: Or cool things like convince Camilla and Sven to raid Bleak Fall Barrows together while Sven flirts with Camila. Or bring Lucan to get his claw back and diss the bandit that stole it.

I'm having a bit of a problem with Constriction of trade.

After talking to Rudhiir, I was to meet him in the woods, but I could not find him when I tried to follow the instructions.

I am at stage 40, and I read somewhere that was the correct stage, but the only map marker I had for the quest remained in the Riften the entire night.

 

Edit:

Tried again a few nights later and this time he exited Riften, and got stuck on a building in Southwoods District.

I managed to get him lose with a running tackle, and he then walked out to the spot.

I assume that was what happened when he did not manage to leave Riften earlier.

Do you have mods that modify the area? I've never had him get stuck anywhere for me.

Hi RuddyCray,

I posted here quite a while ago about not all dialogue options appearing for the Performing a Play side job at Dibella's Garden. I said that I'd keep testing to see if it happened again or with other plays and I've finally been able to do that.

 

I'm afraid I may not have the numbering of the plays correct but will try to give as much info as possible.

 

Play (The Lusty Argonian Footman) that starts with the response line : Can you not even do this right, my sweet!

I had all dialogue options and the play completed successfully in both rehearsal and performance.

 

Play (The Sultry Argonian Bard) that starts with the response line: I do, my darling - followed by line - Oh, I have put my lips to many a flute!

I had all dialogue options and the play completed successfully in both rehearsal and performance.

 

Play (The Sultry Argonian Bard DG v.1) that starts with the response line: Oh, is it too fast for you? according to the script.

I didn't get the line 'Oh is it too fast for you?' or the line 'Perhaps away from the inn's noise, where we both may enjoy your great talent?'

 

I only had the 4 lines and yes, I did attempt to scroll down many times 😉 so I couldn't complete the rehearsal or the performance with all options and Dovesi chewed my ear out something shocking lol.

 

I've actually only just realised that there are more than 3 plays so I'll keep testing and see if the other 2 (I'm not playing as an Argonian) are complete for me.

 

Hope this all helps - I'm playing a minimally modded setup but I do have other mods - still some plays are okay, others not.
