WappyOne Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I've run into a small issue when adding / replying to posts. It seems that Firefox's (latest release build, 18.0.1) spellcheck doesn't recognize the post editor as a text entry box and refuses to spellcheck it. I have to copy/paste my post into Writer to find all my misspelt wurdz! Anyone aware of some workaround to get spellcheck working again in-browser?

Seems to be working fine for me firefox, type something in then right click it an make sure "Check Spelling" is checked and you have a language selected.
Ark of Truth Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 It didn't work for me at first but then it decided to work after a while, then stopped again.
Tobbe27 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 I can't seem to find my private messages, however. Where are they located?
Ark of Truth Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Two the right of your name in the upper left, the icon has disappeared so you cannot see it. You can use the link below as well http://www.loverslab.com/index.php?app=members&module=messaging
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I hate how it uses a default avatar for those who don't already have one... which is why I was forced to get one.I preffered the old way where if you didn't have one, it didn't show a placeholder at all. Also, I find it irritating that I can't seem to make the Latest Posts, Recent Topics and Latest FIles to just GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. I can collapse them, but I would prefer them gone. And for whatever reason, the new reply field doesn't work with the built in spellchecker of Firefox. Annoying! Also, that fucking Twitter icon in the reply menul it offends me. May as well put a fucking Facebook icon while you're at it.
Guest Lady Luck Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 this again spellchecking arguement sucks XD
Guest Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I wish there was a way to have your profile show just your age.. not the exact date.
WitchGirl Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Wow, I have to say it certainly took me by surprise; but I think I like it. It's more... open than the old version.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 this again spellchecking arguement sucks XD Some of us actually care if things are spelled correctly, thank you.
Captain Cobra Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 this again spellchecking arguement sucks XD Heaven forbid someone wants their messages to be readable! Also: How do I change my user title now? I can't seem to find it in the options anymore.

Absolutely 0 idea what your talking about, your comment has seemingly nothing to do with what you quoted. Also: How do I change my user title now? I can't seem to find it in the options anymore. You can change your user title in profile settings: http://www.loverslab.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=profileinfo And spellcheck works perfectly fine in Firefox, you just have to enable it. Mispell something in the editor and right click it and make sure "Check Spelling" is checked and you have a language selected below it. Also, I find it irritating that I can't seem to make the Latest Posts, Recent Topics and Latest FIles to just GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. I can collapse them, but I would prefer them gone.Click the X in the top right of the sidebar in the WHITE box and it'll collapse the whole thing and stay hidden. And for whatever reason, the new reply field doesn't work with the built in spellchecker of Firefox. Annoying!I've explained the incredibly easy fix for this problem 3 separate times now. Figure it out. Also, that fucking Twitter icon in the reply menul it offends me. May as well put a fucking Facebook icon while you're at it.This is literally the most shallow complaint I have ever heard. Deal with it.
Guest Lady Luck Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 wtf how does twitter offend you " stalk stalk stalk ".
Ashal Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I see you edited your post to say thread titles, that makes more sense now. You can edit thread titles, you just have to go into the full editor to do it, you'll see a box for "Topic Title".
dboura Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 To change a member title do you need a specific amount of posts and membership status? Curious because I can't see it in my settings in the cp.

Deman40 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 It's definately a step in the right direction for this community. Thanks Ashal
sen4mi Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Is there some way to see when a thread was last updated, in this new format?
Guest Plastrader Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Is there some way to see when a thread was last updated, in this new format? If you have posted in a topic you can see them under your "Your profile>My content" And you can follow topics/forums and get notified when they updated.
Jerbsinator Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I like it a lot, especially on my phone. The site is 1000% better on phones with this new layout it's just so much easier. Only things I do not like are 1) There is no longer a "Mark all threads read" button on the front page. (However, there is a button like this when I use my phone...weird) 2) No more Gifs in avatar (this is a minor gripe of mine at best).

Veta Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Gif avatars don't play ( mine at least ) I don't mind at all ,just wanted to point it out (it still works on the profile page though)in case no one else had said it .
