The timing of Ivy's idle chatter kills me.

 

We're in Mass Fusion looking for the Beryllium Agitator; Ivy's covered in blood after using Hyper Combat on some poor Brotherhood initiates, and she asks: "Hey, would you mind fucking me while I'm on my period?"

 

Started laughing so hard, I almost choked on my spit.

 

Also, this current playthrough with Ivy is the absolute first time she's teleported into the Institute to follow me. Honestly didn't expect her to do so.

Yeah, sometimes Ivy will have a "moment" that is best preserved in a screenshot.  I have shot some coffee through my nose already. 

Having seen IVY soaked in blood... yeah, I can imagine THAT line right after..  LMAO!

Reginald_001 - Have you considered doing some anims like AMSL or even hugs or kisses tied into the dialogues? (or are they already in 5.1 and I am using the 4.0 version...)  As far as I can tell these anims should be pretty much version independent. Atomic has some hugging and kissing anims already built, just need hooks..

Yes I have considered this. It was the main reason to make Ivy into an ESM so people (or me at one point) can make plugins that make this a reality. It will come at one point!

I use my personal body skin mod. before Ivy v5.1, I extracted Ivy texture ba2 file and replaced it with my texture, just like how the  Unique Followers and Heather works.

 

But now, I don't know I placed the body texture on the wrong path or Ivy doesn't support this feature...

I tried on these two path: CompanionIvy\textures\Actors\Character\Ivy

Hi Reg, made a plugin real quick for people that want to use custom body and textures.

Since Ivy 5 is an .esm this had to be done by additional plugin, .esp, which will take a mod slot. I could do it a couple different ways, but this should be the most bulletproof and I don't think it will require updating if Reg updates Ivy 5's .esm.

 

Let me know if it works out. I haven't had time to use the new version of Ivy yet, but I know people will ask for the custom paths. It also includes BodySlide support to easily build a custom body by selecting Ivy Body in the BS dropdown.

Yes. There's a rather long chain of comments in which he's kept updating the .dll for new versions, and is still up-to-date.

The Skin I use has head parts for the face, I haven't tested it yet. Just curious is all

Reginald_001, I just wanted to say, thank you again, for yet another Ivy.  I Can't wait to hear her new voice.  

Oddly though when I completed the minutemen quest to retake the castle, and Preston told me of yet another settlement that needs our help.

I swear, I heard Geek Chick's voice, saying "Rally Preston!"  Maybe I imagined it? It hasn't happened again.

 

Also wanted to thank you for the porn mag treasure hunt.  That is a nice touch.

Her name is Chic Geek.

Ivy is currently being re-voiced by another voice actress.

Hi, regarding the follower thing, have you asked Thuggysmurf (of Project Valkyrie etc) how he did it with his? All his mods seem to work very well and the followers are all outside the system.

Or was the issue that Ivy's current following framework cannot be rewritten around a new system?

Hey Reginald,  

 

Great mod!  looking forward to exploring this on my new playthrough.     I have one problem so far, just starting out...   Well actually I'm doing that thing where you are starting out 500 times because you are setting your mods up correctly =p   but I digress...

 

Ivy keeps complaining about how disconcerting it is when i Alter reality and getting irritated with me every time I pass the bridge between sanctuary and red rocket... also whenever i try to leave the red rocket area with her in tow.  Although shes fine if I send her ahead and meet her up at the next settlement.

 

I don't know if this is part of her normal insanity protocol... or if it is the mod complaining about some of the game alterations I have made.. or even a conflict.   

 

I had nora spouse companion, that I noticed had conflicting quest entries, so I'm removing that mod on this next try.  I also have a mod that gives her a custom body type... I used faceripper to give her my nora's face and heighted her down to 0.98 within the esp that edits her character and adds the new body type (it does not alter the race).  I also change the timescale to 10.  

 

I'm trying various things to see if any of them resolve this issue, but If you can tip me off as to whether this is normal behavior.. or if its a conflict I could be missing, I would appreciate it.  Thanks so much!  I look forward to exploring this mod.  And I don't mind the current voice... the robotic entries actually are pretty good and the lines are funny enough to bring out her character ? well done!

You, or a mod you use, is altering Ivy's size to BELOW the vanilla standard (below 0.98). She does not like this for many obvious reasons, resets her size and complains when you do it, giving her negative affinity as well.

 

It's not standard behavior for her and you should try to figure out what is changing her size. Though I have a feeling anything overriding her, like say a custom body mod, could definitely be the cause.

ahh ok  I might be right on the cusp.  I did height her down to .98 but it was a tad too short anyway ill try .99  thanks so much! ?
