It REALLY does. Even when I was cheating like a Motherfucker during testing, I couldn't GUARANTEE finding a mag is luck based, And I enjoy looting and finding P0rnz for Ivy. I alwas put them in her inventory. and who doesn't Like extra Ivy content

This is why I mentioned archiving my entire game and starting from scratch. I can't even use MCM on my patch version, but it's stable, has been glitch free, so the ole 'if it ain't broke-don't fix it' has been in effect. Biggest issue would be archiving everything including all the mods/tools/etc. so 'IF' I wanted, I could restore the older version, and move on.

 

Everything for the most part looks interesting enough to help in my decision to re-install. I'll just have to take the time to commit a day to reading, and researching patch levels, compatibilities, yada yada - I love modding. Small price to pay for making it 'your own'.

Love the mod and the quest in her head is something else! A huge amount of effort in there alone... which kind of sucks as I'm stuck in her head.

 

It's when I get to the top floor and meet 'Mercy', she does her monologue and then... nothing. We just stand there looking at each other - I did have XDI installed (didn't know it clashed) is this causing the issue? If I clean save without it, would that sort it, or is it something more?

Sometimes the camera gets stuck, just moving your mouse out and navigating yourself in front of Mercy should fix it. This is a vanilla bug. :)

If it's XDI. You should be able to uninstall/deactivate it, then it should work. You might need to load an autosave from earlier in the quest tho, if XDI is the cause.

Turned out that it was because Deborah was missing. Had an inspiration that they should be together at that point, so went and fetched her. Once she was in the same area, the dialogue (as it turned out to be) completed without a problem. :)

Is there any way to run this mod with additional companions? I don't want to dump another 100 hours into F4 just for one companion mod. There are other companion mods, improvements to the vanilla ones, etc. I've already started a game. I'm willing to reset and start a new one, but would prefer to use Ivy along with a few others and run in a group. What's the big deal about making this work with AFT or Unlimited comp framework?

 

Seems like a great mod, but this limitation kills it for me.

The 'big deal' is explained in the exact post above yours. Literally the post before yours explains in detail what 'the deal' is.

 

In any case. Ivy is not for you. Please use other mods. I don't even WANT you playing her.

There's dozens of basic followers that can be your cannon-fodder.

I've been running Ivy with UCF for a good while, and haven't run into any serious problems with her.

 

Just recruit her first, and you shouldn't* run into any problems with UCF. YMMV.

 

 

*Disclaimer: You may or may not have problems, after all, it's Fallout 4, and you're using two mods that aren't guaranteed to work together.

Given the above and What we know as fact above ATF Via @Flashy (JoeR) it is likely that it will also Break Heather's A.I. Just. Like. Ivy.

 

at this point. If ask about ATF or XDI, I'm just going to ignore your comment, If I'm giving support here or on Discord I will just Stop. @Reginald_001 , Myself, and MANY others have stated that it. Is. Not. Compatible. It will break the Vanilla Companion Framework

Are there any known issues with Ivy and Vault 88? Every time I try to go there with her, my game crashes. If I go by myself or with any other companion, it works fine. With Ivy, it crashes every time regardless of if I walk in or fast travel. I'm assuming it's some sort of conflict with another mod, but the only mods I'm using for vault 88 are ones that reenable funcionality. Specifically these: 

 

Vault 88 - More Vault Rooms (adds more room pieces)

Vault 88 Restored Lighting, Rad Scanners, and Turrets (makes the entrance parts work correctly)

Vault 88 Spawn Fix (moves enemy spawns back to the entrance pointss)

 

I also have Scrap Everything, which appears to have moved the workshop area to cover the entire interior, instead of stopping at the vault door.

 

This is happening on a fresh game, so it's not related to old scripts from removed mods.  I've also never had any issues with the above mods with anything else, so I'm not sure why there'd be a conflict now. Any help would be appreciated.

@All Ivy fans, and mad modders:

Anyone with plans to add a Diamond City Adult Emporium for Ivy to enjoy?  She would love to have a nice selection of sex toys, and fancy lingerie. Even a few porn holo's or magazines for her pleasure. heck, she might even demonstrate the "effectiveness" of some of the toys (ie. animations hooked to AAF)

 

NOT expecting Reginald or Flashy_Joe to provide these, just me thinking out loud.

 

What do you guys think? (note: if this is in the wrong place, or just doesn't fit in well, feel free to move it or delete it.  It is just that most Ivy fans show up here.)

OK 2/3 OK first off, at least here we have always been mature and respectful. you are neither. yes Heather has her own AI and Yes it may work with ivy. I was responding to 2 at the same time. So if you didn't mention ATF why are you responding to atf?

I have worked with and supported many many users in not just Ivy but their entire game load. I may not be an all powerful modder like Reg or Flashy. But I know a thing or two.

again. add to the convo and support or lurk and leave. It's simple. you have been neither helpful nor constructive thus far

I have not had any issues with V88 and have played the DLC quite often with Ivy. She doesn't touch that stuff and it's very unlikely she'd cause a game crash under *any* circumstance.

 

I would look into those V88 add-ons. Perhaps re-install them. Could be some missing textures, etc..

Well after three hours of looking I cannot find a way up! Quest marker is on elevator button. Rode that damn elevator dozens of times and cannot find a way out or "up".  There are stairs on one floor but a partition blocks it off. I did "tcl" and found a raider up there but seemingly no way to complete this quest. Is it bugged or am I just a half blind old fart who hates friggin puzzles? Any clues will be appreciated. Thanks. End of rant.

 

Never mind. I finally figured out what I missed.

 

Just wanted to say it was one of the best (albeit attention to detail required) quest I have ever experienced in this game!!!  Parts of it  were very eerie and disturbing.  Great work.

I am stuck at the same place...
Can you PM me how you solved this part of the Quest?
