Modifying hair patchers(Chargens) is super easy when you playing with hairs that only consist of hair,HL,femalestraightscalpt. Some HG Hairs and maybe a small few of KS will utilize extra hair pieces after those, which is fine for most/so close to all ,named npcs.

I set up my newer HG patcher with a particular hair I'm not crazy about so I changed it. Here is a review of process

I am adding to NordHair01 is Pinkberry, it uses Pinkberry.nif and PinkberryHL.nif so the plan is to have NordHair01 set up with Pinberry.nif and HairlineNord01 set up with PinkberryHL.nif. Main hair and main HL

You want to make active in ck the chargen you want to play with and in object window expand character, headparts, female, and head parts. Put Nord in the filter or which ever applicable race, I have pics with Nords so, with Nord in filter and having clicked on headparts Im looking for HairFemaleNord01-21. And with Nord in filter you can bounce to extra parts to do HL

BR2.jpg.ddb05b65f5823caaf25f570c828f1829.jpg

I start in headparts. Changing NordHair01 from HG Hair "Cxloe" to HG Hair Pinkberry. Click on nord hair 01 and edit the meshes/Model. Note also in the extra parts that there is only HLFemaleNord01 and HairlineFemaleStraight. Every hair wants a corresponding HL and a HLFStraight, unless your patching bandits or such which would mean no HLFStraight.

BNordH1.jpg.87d9c96198e958da2e3383f044c19ee8.jpg

When you edit mesh from location in pic above you get a pop up for the current model and you click edit again and ck should take you into your meshes folder(MO users ck can be goofy and MO will try to find meshes inside your MO/mods folder but when you first click it you might have to revert back to data folder and look in meshes and chargen hair meshes will be there) \

In this case we are working with newer hg hairs so you need newer hg hair meshes and textures in either your MO/Mods/Botox folder or in data. And like mentioned MO users might not initially see meshes folder/subfolders and they want to see and you need to cus at ck and click data and click meshes.

So click edit on nord hair 01, pop up appears click edit again and ck is looking for meshes for you

We want 4uplod-M inside data/meshes. it needs to be put there by user from newer hg file on LL

If you have been inside doing work ck takes you last place you were. For me it was a subfolder in my MO/Botox folder for newer hg hairs.

We want Pinkberry.nif for Nord hair 01  I have PinkberryHL highlighted, but we are doing hair not hl so I want pinkberry.nif right above it.

click ok a few times and nordhair01 is done, still need to the same thing for nord01hairline.

Later I'll show process on hairs from HG that have a bunch of extra parts. Some of those extra parts are earrings or things like hair bans, and can be mixed with other hairs.

Here is a zip with a few(7) newly patched vanilla characters. these nifs are going to want you to have at least have newer hg hairs textures in your texture folder(data/textures or MO/mods/ botox or installed hg hairs or throw the folder in your data)

HGBotoxed.7z

I know i have Gerdur,Hroki,Eola.MichelLylvieve,MinerSisterKynsgroove(older one)Katla,Safia(RedWave)

you can use xedit to look up which nif/dds goes to which toon.

Mirri Severin weird hair [Solved]

Noticed something in Solstheim. Mirri Severin had dorked hair(little blue devil) Nothing wrong with head nif so did some playing and found the problem arose from her vanilla outfit. I say vanilla as I have something in LO making outfit look better on my end but in this case I believe it has to do with assigned slots. Either way, if you have problem with Mirri Severin you need to change her outfit. The problem was only her female straight scalp was rendering, which appears as a really short, almost to the scalp, hair cut(no good). Remove/Change her clothing and she looked great!

Thanks for the new file.

Just wanted to ask if you could look at your Bruma file. Apparently it doesn't cover all the female NPCs. Is that intentional?

With Bruma, that file had some females with non vanilla hair. I would of had to of made changes to Bruma.esm file prior to patching and I never tried to get permissions for that.

Any chance of  Botoxing Laura's Bondage Shop, Deviously Cursed Loot, and Simple Slavery?

It's a "permission" game.

Simply Slavery if I remember right is a nightmare to patch, might be getting mixed up with different mod? I can give a quick browse later today.

Dont know if Laura's Bondage Shop Author is still active, should be easy mod to patch though.

DCL will always begrudgingly be in my female LO, simply couldnt play without it.  That mod does patch nicely, I can reach out to Kimy and try to gain 'Permissions"

Busy today for most part, should have an hour or so tonight so we'll see.

You can't change stuff in an esm file in ck.

Not sure if it is relevant here but you can edit esms in XEdit with the exception of Skyrim.esm. You can use Wyre Bash to 'espify' an esm (even Skyrim.esm) and 'esmify' an esp.

No doubt, this is why I hated updating SexFactions after releasing it prematurely. Not this biggest deal but a little annoying. Thanks for info regardless, never hurts getting solid info.

Messing with Skyrim.esm is a damned fine way to screw your game. :classic_laugh:

It's a "no" for Laura's Bondage Shop.

For DCL it looks like a no.

Simple Slavery we got a "yea"

I patched females in SSPP yesterday. Having internet connection problems on my end with desktop, probably won't be online till weekend.

It looks like only SSPP, next weekend
