I've been playing Neverwinter Nights for a long, long time now and I've played a lot of adult mods for it as well. Neverwinter Nights also has probably the most user-friendly and easy to use toolkit I've ever seen. It's for that reason that I'm confused as to why LoversLab never started up a Neverwinter Nights section for adult modding. I would love to play through an adult-oriented version of the main-campaign.

I played ADwR(both chapters) and Sex and the Single Adventuress(for both NWN 1 and 2), but I'm interested in those other three that you mentioned. Kunoichi, I take it, is centered around you being a stealthy character, since Kunoichi in Japan are lady ninjas, but I never heard of those other two. Can you give some short description about what's going on in those? Aside the obvious, of course .

I also enjoy playing NWN. It's amazing after all these years, I still enjoy this game. I think part of it is it's so easy to just sit down and play it. Also as you mentioned, it has a relatively easy toolset to start modding with. Even though I've never actually modded.

 

ADWR is easily my favorite. Not just for the adult stuff (which is great considering it hits a LOT of my erotic buttons), but for the well told story too. I love to play an innocent female who keeps getting herself into trouble and eventually gets herself seduced/taken when she leasts expects.

 

I've played most of the mod's on your list. Haven't done the Blackwall thing yet. I tried it for a little while and got bored with it for whatever reasons.

 

Gladiatrix series does have sexual situations in it. And I believe the 2nd one does have a NC scene if you wish to go there.

 

And version 3 of it is under development now.

 

Along with 2 other promising ones:

Celeritas Eos by RadiantLoneWolf

 

Both appear to have adult elements in them.

 

Kunoichi looked promising. Was hoping for the prelude to be translated. But they've been at it for years and haven't heard anything recent about it..sigh.

I don't think Kunoichi is going to be completed. It's a shame, the series is fun.

You're indeed playing a female ninja, but it can actually be played with any class although a rogue/fighter type is probably the best way to go.

If you're looking for lots of sex then you might be disappointed though. It has a few scenes where your character can use her charms (especially in part 2) but nothing descriptive or graphic. There's also a pretty heavy scene at the end of part one, that can partly be avoided by the right dialogue choices.

It's true, a lot of these modules, (though adult in content), aren't exactly 'pornographic'... with the exception of 'ADWR' and perhaps a few other ones. I would like to ask the loverslab community though... would anyone be willing to modify the main campaign?

I always had a lot of fun on the adult oriented servers in NWN. Unfortunatly gamespy has dropped nwn from their service so you have to know the IP of the server and connect directly. Sinfar is one of my favorites. It has a wide range of roleplay and decent sex animations.

Also: ADWR is FUCKING AMAZING! How did I now know about this amazing mod? I fired it up around 2:00pm yesterday and was completely engrossed. I finally made myself save, quit, and standup at midnight without having moved to eat or anything. Its one of the best examples of adult gaming ive come across, the sex is there but its also a great game. Usually its like "Har har boobs, get your jollies and leave because this shit loses its appeal after your done." Not this one by any stretch, the story and characters had me glued to the screen. Plus ten hours later and I'm barely into the second chapter of part 1.

I've actually always wanted to do an NWN mod, considering how relatively simple working in that engine is, but I've never been comfortable writing for a "swords and castles" setting, so I've never been able to come up with a good starting point for any sort of story.

To be honest ive been wanting to do this as well. I always get into a Bethesda Toolset and get overwhelmed quickly. Last time I tryed to do something in the NWN toolset I was a kid and I have a much better skillset now, so I bet I could go a lot farther this time.

I've always thought of NWN as sort of the pinnacle of RPG toolsets. The graphics are mediocre enough that it forces developers to rely on text, which imo is going to be superior to the animations generally available now.

 

Plus, it's easy enough to use, compared to most of the other options, that one person can craft a pretty impressive campaign together if they're willing to put the effort and writing talent into it.

 

Animation is all well and good, but it's the rare person who can make the animations, write the story, script the module, build the areas, and all the other things that are required for a mod. And once you need more than a few people working on things, it gets a lot harder to actually finish when people are working on it in their free time.

 

On the bright side, it seems like there's been a recent resurgence in NWN modding. You've got Gladiatrix which has part 3 in the works. Demonheart has the prelude out with the future chapters being worked on. Celeritas Eos is in its final stages of testing.

Another adult mod I forgot to mention is 'Miss Jones Spirit'. It's quite pornographic but sort of put together... well... together. You can tell the creator put a lot of effort into it though! If you can get past it, you can also tell the author speaks English as a second language. But... if you need more adult mods I'd say it's worth a shot.

Yeah, I still prefer ADWR's method, of darkness and text. However, Dragon Claw Inn, despite never getting off the ground, is pretty fun and impressive for what it is. It combiens text and animatiosn pretty well. My favorite scenes being with the half-orc, golbins, and 'winning' drinking contest with the dwarves. Which makes it sort of a tragady too, as the creator never updated and proboboly never will. Its still worth a download.

 

Demonheart looks like it may very well challenge or at least equal ADWR when we get the first part. The prolog was very promising. Also, bear in mind ADWR was the product of years of steady updates, whereas the production values of Demonheart are perfectonism, time and beta testing, as well as taking lessons from ADWR and other modules.

Yes, Demonheart looks very promising. It's amazing all the work that has gone into that one. Seems like it has been in development for years. Enjoyed a taste of the module from the Prologue. Can't wait to start playing the 1st chapter!

 

Dragon Claw Inn definitely was a fine effort. It's sad that it hasn't been worked on recently. I guess I wish the author would either come out and say he will forever not work on it, or say he will get to it eventually. Either way would be fine with me. But haven't heard a blasted thing from him.

 

Too bad since it also hit a lot of my erotic buttons. Loved being taken advantage of by the hypmotist. And being accosted by the dwarves as well. And yes, not to mention that half orc. My only complaints were that there was only an erotic encounter with each of those people once. And yeah, that the module also remains unfinished. Sigh.

 

But good to know there are other modules still in development for this game.

It wouldn't be fair to give an update, because there isn't much to report. I've been having trouble finding time to work on it. I got Skyrim for x-mas, plus I've been alpha testing for another game. Bear in mind WK1 took me like 6 years to finish.

Ummm.... hi. That guy you're talking about just might be me. >.> But yeah' date=' did a few things: I changed up the sailors a bit to actually live up to their reputation, added a sex scene with the beggar, I had the swordfish gangrape scene actually take place, I made it to where you could go get shaved regardless of doing the nightingale quest, had those sailors on the island wouldn't immediately convince the captain to take you back, and put in a small scene with those bugbears that really is way way too short, was kinda just a "Let's get some practice with triggers, and making my own stand alone scene" thing, along with editing up the grabby patron at the start, though there is some wonkeyness with his scripting that I never got around. ... and damn, I did more than I remembered. XD Dammit, I keep having to come back up here and edit this, while posting up those other documents. I also made the sailor with the ring make the suggestion himself that you can sleep with him for it. Here's the link if any of you guys want, it's been ages since I've worked on it.

I been trying as hard as I can to avoid this, honestly. You just have to believe me when I say my intentions were not to string you guys along, more of trying to get myself interested in this again. But it just isn't happening. It has been a while since I have opened up the toolset to work on this, and my drive to get back on this project is fading. When I first discovered ADWR, it was the best thing that I knew, I had not seen another medium deliver the sort of content I wanted in the way that ADWR had. But now, I've found more interesting, and more fitting mediums for the sort of content I am looking for, and although by itself ADWR stands high, the medium that it is in is just is not as compelling to me as others are. There are other things out there for me now that are more enjoyable to experience, and more rewarding to create content for. I always said that if this project were ever to be dropped, to be considered dead, I would leave a statement saying so. Consider this that statement. Sorry to leave you like this guys, thanks for all of the support you've given.
