I tried out the "Battery powered TV" you linked, but to me all menus and CE channel related interactions show up and play on it without issues... I mean the screen mesh is pretty distorted and has the wrong aspect ratio - i can't do anything about that - but apart from that, functionality wise, it's all is fine and dandy.
So I'm a bit puzzled about what you'd like me to do with it.
Am I missing a certain scenario/setup when my channels don't show up? If yes, then please let me know the set-up so I can replicate it.

 

EDIT 1: Never mind, I forgot to set the lot challenge to "off the grid". I can see the problem now. I'll look into it.

 

EDIT 2:

Looking at the files, it seems like an easy fix, I probably just have to disable the utility_info for the channels' Interaction Tunings, and that should fix it... This is a rather fringe issue though, so it's kinda low on my priority list right now; but I will probably address it at the next major mod update (whenever it is).

MOD UPDATED TO v6.2c (2022-AUG-17):

• Fixed a bug with the Set Porn Watching Preference interaction. This interaction was originally only meant to show up in the active sim's pie menu, but due to a mistake I made in the code, it was erroneously showing up in non active sims' and NPCs pie menu as well. I also assigned the lowest pie menu priority to it, so it shows up on the last page.
• Also added a new little optional add-on to the Extras folder that enables all CinErotique channels on "Off the Grid" lots without power. File needs to be unzipped if you want to use it. (This feature was requested by a user, and I know that not many people will use it, but it was an easy addition to make. So why not.)

Files affected by this update within the !CinErotique_Mod_Framework_[v6.2c]_(2022-AUG-17).zip are

• PECO_MOD_CinErotique.package

The video package files are not affected by this update. No need to update those.

• Added a new "Porn Maniac" trait to the Porn Watching Preference system.
  Sims with this trait assigned to them will prioritize to watch porn on the TV over other channels. - see Manual for details.
  

Files affected by this update within the !CinErotique_Mod_Framework_[v6.2d]_(2022-AUG-20).zip are

• PECO_MOD_CinErotique.package

The individual video package files were not affected by this update. No need to update or re-download those.

Ha! You see, some of those files in the Extras folder are password protected for this exact reason.
Because people don't read important info, even though it's put right in front of them.
Those files are password locked to protect you from yourself! LOL. --- Read the provided !README 1ST.txt file in the same folder, all your questions are answered there!

Tu copie le dossier CinErotique dans ton dossier Mods , tu peux y rajouter les fichiers channels enabled , easier super reception et more tv icons pour plus d'options en jeu.

Ensuite tu télécharge et décompresse les vidéos que tu copie dans le dossier Videos. c'est tout ^^

Is there anyway of making it so you can turn on and off the TV stations without a sim watching? The way this mod does it https://www.patreon.com/posts/mod-turn-on-tv-70261108 I know there is an always on display but it would be nice to be able to use a regular TV and turn it on and off. Also if there was an option to turn off addition dialogue that would be nice. There is already so much dialogue option clutter in the game as it is.

I looked into it, and it looks like a fairly simple thing, so adapting it wouldn't be much of a problem... I'm just not 100% sure if it worth it. It's basically just a "simless" ON switch for the TV. Sell me on this idea, why do I want to include this?

There are a few reasons I would like it the main one is to go along with a few of the WW animations of sims fooling around while watching TV. Once you start the scene they shut off the TV and it hurts the immersion. Its a sims story issue being able to leave the TV on would make the scenes look better. As for the dialogue I'm talking about the discussing porn options that pop up for between the sims that watched it after. It's not a huge deal just a small qol thing.

I just tried it, had my sims watching a porn channel on the TV, then started a WW sex scene with them, and the TV wasn't turned off. Are we talking about some specific animations? (if yes, which ones?)

So I dunno, I suppose I can make a cheat menu addition for the TV where you can test channels without any sim interaction.

It only shows up during and for 2 ingame hours after watching porn on the TV. I might make a little add-on mod to send it back to the last page of the Social pie menu, so it's out of sight. I will think about it.

Once in a while the TV will stay on I don't know what the variable is but most the time they shut it off. It could be having them walk to the location vs the teleport start. I always use the walk and maybe that's why it rarely stays on for me. Thanks for hearing me out either way, I really enjoy your mod and love the progress its made. I wish I could stay on as a patron more often.

Yeah that must be the cause then, as i have my settings set to teleport. In this case, this is something that needs addressing in WW, I can't really do much about it apart from adding the aforementioned cheat option.
