Lotus05 Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 (edited) Hello! I have downloaded the CinErotique Mod framework and several movies and shows but it isn't loading into my game. All of the files are in my mod folder too. Am I doing something wrong? EDIT: I think I got it...sorry I am a noob to mods. I am learning EDIT 2: It's working now! I thought it was just a simple file you had to throw into the mod folder. Reading is fundamental lol. Thanks for you hard work on creating for us! What I did wrong: #1 I didn't read the directions all the way. I thought the files were just a simple drop in the mod folder, but that is not the case. #2 When I download the files, I was not able to extract them because I didn't have the right application to do it. I had to search online for the 7-zip file manager application and download into my computer to be able to. Then, I had to extract the files through 7-zip and move the files into the correct folders. Hey, video encoding for TS4 is not hard per-se, just an extremely tedious affair, so be prepared for that, lol... but if you're up for it, here are the tutorials you'll need: The first part of the first post in this topic explains how to make a Sims compatible VP6 AVI file, after that it goes into how to look up TV channel instance IDs, that part is irrelevant. I'd also recommend you to read the whole topic though, as there are some more insights shared by other users. The other tutorial you'll need is by Turbo on how to make an xml tuning for the prepared AVI. I hope this is helpful. Good luck! 2

Reworked the Porn Watching Preference system. Now it's easier to use and directly accessible from the sims' pie menu. (see "CUSTOMIZABLE PERSONAL WATCH PREFERENCES" section in the User Manual for details.) Starting from game version 1.90.358, Whims were replaced by the new Wants and Fears system, so I removed the whim that was tied to watching porn on the TV. (Note: This is temporary, once I get more familiar with the new system I will re-introduce this feature.) Files affected by this update within the !CinErotique_Mod_Framework_[v6.2b]_(2022-JULY-28).zip are PECO_MOD_CinErotique.package PECO_MOD_CinErotique.ts4script The video package files are not affected by this update. Honestly, I think you should delete everything apart from the video package files you already have (these are easily recognizable by having "TV" at the start of their filenames. For example: "TVcineraw_SD_FM_detention.package"), and do a fresh install of CinErotique. - You can find the step-by-step installation guide here. If you don't want to do a fresh install, then at least delete the following files from the folder: CinErotique_IconOverride_02.package CinErotique1_ReplaceRomance.package CinErotique2RAW_ReplaceFireplace.package CinErotique3Reality_ReplaceAction.package The whole "Step 5 (optional) - Extras" folder Also (as I can't see the folder path on the screenshot) make sure that the PECO_MOD_CinErotique.ts4script is not more than one folder deep within your mods folder, otherwise it will not work. That will not happen - for a bunch of reasons. I already spoke about them all in previous posts - as this topic comes up from time to time - so I will not repeat myself here again. If anybody's interested, they can read back on it. BTW, I already provide a detailed tutorial on how to easily mass download files from LoversLab. And as PAINSTAKING as it was, I downloaded EACH & EVERY ONE of then individually because THAT is A LOT SAFER than YOUR way And while you may tired of the topic brought up, there's NO escaping the fact we live in a world where Cybersecurity is A PARAMOUNT issue & companies like Google LOVE to use your browsing history & other data to shove ads in your face & browser extensions is ONLY ONE of A MYRIAD of ways they do that Even VPN's (What A JOKE those are. Don't even get me started on THOSE) DO NOTHING to help I should think you would be more sensitive to that than simply offering 70+ files for INDIVIDUAL download but I guess not
