Ah, that mod is a replacer made by Tisseman.  It's going to work one of the two mods, but not both at the same time. 

 

I wonder if that has anything to do with the other reports.

and I don't know whose fault it was，but I simultaneous use FG、Cridowskin and Hipoly Faces REDUX，the tattoos on neck will not display?

I will check it out tonight. The purple texture means it's not finding the tattoo. But, at least from here, everything is correct. We'll see.

Good grief, the CBBE version looks awful. ?

I just installed it (CBBE mod) to see if I can fix a couple of outfits from Nuka Ride. I have long left CBBE behind and only work on a Fusion Girl basis. 

 

I use Mudbox, so that means tattoos that look good in FG, but get distorted in CBBE.

Anyway, I have tested and everything works, so I presume the reports are because they are using the Tisseman version, which is not currently compatible with version 3.2.

That's it. I'm going to re-upload the mod with the old fomod. Everyone will choose their correct facial texture. 

 

But first I'll make a few Brotherhood of Steel tattoos. I only know their logo, so suggestions are welcome.

"Ad Victoriam" (a Latin battle cry translating in English as "to victory!") seems to be popular among the BoS characters in FO4.

 

Edit: Also the phrase "FOR SCIENCE!" might be cute in a geeky Brotherhoodish way.

hmm - "Recon Squad Zulu" ??  as far as i can remember the BOS has not used that name (Zulu) in any of the fallout games (could be wrong here).

Maybe something related to the Hornets, a BoS squadron added related to some quests added with Boston Breeder.

Also a slider would be a nice thing, there are a lot of tattoos now and it'll help to browse them faster.

CapTats has no control over the LooksMenu interface. That needs changes to LooksMenu itself, which is not very actively developed unfortunately.

• 2 new facial tattoos. 
• I changed the fomod and the installation of facial textures in 2K should be easier. 

 

If you want to see specifically the new ones, I recommend you to download this small patch that will make visible only the new tattoos.

Some questions from me:

 

(1) The BOS tattoos don't show up for male characters. Is this normal? If yes, do you plan on making the new tats work for males soon?

(2) Do you plan on making anything related to the Railroad and/or the Institute in the near future?

The most common reason is you chose the wrong tattoo resolution for your face textures in the FOMOD installer menu. They have to match, so if you're using vanilla resolution face textures you need 1K facial tattoos, HD face textures need 2K face tattoos.

On this topic now, sorry, and I am having a problem with the new tattoos, the old ones work fine.  Female character, fusion girl, using cridowskin with the FG patch from LL, 2 k faces and when I add a new tattoo the body looses textures, I am colourblind, so can't tell you what they become.  2 screenshots shown,   one with a new tattoo and one with an older (sorry it is nails in the picture but all the old ones "just work").

Well I know the problem, it is either the Nuka Ride - The Previous Girl or Tissemanns (Captive) Tattoos depending which one is running conflicting with the new tattoos.  I don't like the intro so use Tissemanns.  However taking that mod off and then using the same apocrypha tattoos, all is OK, but that kind of runs NukaRide as I love the changes to suit your amazing mod.  So back to the previous version for now.

That is good news, which of the 2 mods that change the Captive Tattoos, for JB's Nukaride, are you using, (Nuka Ride - The Previous Girl or Tissemanns (Captive) Tattoos) as it would be good to know.  I have put both after Captive without success so would be really useful to know how you haven't got the texture issue I am getting?  Thanks.
