SexLab Body Search

cant seem to make it work. got all hard and soft requirements, rohzima's body search animation is checked but when a guard drags me to the dungeon to do a search, the animations dont trigger he/she just stands there doing nothing and i cant move [walk or draw weapon or talk] any idea how to fix it?

NVM, downloaded wrong skse version. took the 2.20 but needed the 2.17

This mod works perfectly however after a while the same animation become tedious....a variation of animation for search would be cool.

What did you do? There is no SKSE 2.17, or maybe in the future... http://skse.silverlock.org/

All i see is guard taking me to barracks and then staring while i'm not able to move. Both are just standing in place. Tried Whiterun and Windhelm.

SKSE 2.17 is an older version of SKSE that only works with the normal skyrim se 1.5.9.08 build. 

i didnt upgrade to AE yet because mods i love to use are not ported over justt yet so i am waiting for that to be done since i cant do that myself in fear i mess something up

 

but in case you do want to know where to find the 2.17 version of SKSE here is what you do

im having the same problem and i downloaded 2.00.17 but it didnt do anything is there anyway to know which one is right if i did update to after ae version but used the patcher to make it 1.5.97.0.8 i also used skse 2.00.20 but that didnt work either

I am using this mod for Skyrim LE and the guards will stop me sometimes and I usually agree to the Body Search saying I got nothing to hide. I keep doing this hoping one day the guards will strip my character nude so I can see the nude body search but it never happens. How do I need to set this in the MCM so the nude body search happens?

Set Naked Chance to 100%.  Did you install the guard search animation that's linked as a soft requirement on the mod page, then run FNIS, and enable & register in SL Anim Loader?  Without the animation installed, you just get the basic search.

OMG, serious!? How in the hell did I forget that. I read everything and had that Nude search set to 100% many times but the animation isn't in the mod? I didn't see an animation listed for a requirement. Argh! I'll go back and get the animation, jeez, I can't believe I missed that. Thanks for letting me know  HexBolt8

Ok ok, wait, I went back and read the mod again and yes I remember it saying it won't work right with LE unless you overwrite the animation that is set for SE with the LE animation. I did download that one and I looked at my mod manager and it is installed. I just reinstalled it again to try and see if that fixes it and I ran FNIS again just like I did the last time. The animation itself I don't think it is showing though in the SL Anim Loader list. What is the exact name of the animation? I'm going to wait a bit and check again and hope it appears.

Yeah that animation is not listed among the ones in the SL Anim Loader, and the file is installed in the mod manager after I installed Body Search. I read the body Search mod itself works for LE and SE it is just that the animation built in is for SE only and so you have to overwrite it with the LE one you download which I DID! So umm, what the heck is going on!

Body Search Move v1.0 something is installed in FNIS also,  I forget its exact name. So I don't understand the problem.

You're probably referring to the optional extra download file that provides an animation for the accessing the hidden pocket.  I don't recommend it, since it just adds a delay.

If it's not appearing in SL Anim Loader, you probably have an installation problem.  It's a just another animation, so if it's present, SL Anim Loader will see it.

Body Search appears in my MCM so I can configure it just fine. But when I go to SL Anim Loader there is only the tons of Funnybizness Animation choices, and also Molag Bal ones, creature ones, Necro ones, Guro and the Babo Human and Creature one. But there is no choice there listed as Body Search.  As for the delay, I am not getting a delay with the hidden pocket. What sort of delay are you referring too?

The one time I looked at the hidden pocket animation, I recall a delay while it played.  Since apparently you don't have that optional animation installed, it's a moot point.

Found a possible issues, on a new game, when stopped, asked to be searched, if you say OK and after the search has been done, and you go fine my followers, they no longer will follow. it seems to have broke the following scripts, this started on a new game, I have been seeing the same results previous games, but did not link the two as being connected until this run through, I believe it happens when the teleport to the guard house happens.

Actually I do have that alternate animation installed because the mod author tells you to need it. When I read this...

However my assumption was that was all I needed to change, so I downloaded and installed that and that was it. Now, where was my problem...
I saw the hard Requirements and Soft Requirements, and here is my mistake.

I clearly had all the hard requirements, read them carefully, and the first soft requirements was the SL Anim Loader, BUT, the other soft requirement is the BodySearchAnimsSE/LE for the SE and LE and I have no idea what happened, my brain just overlooked this for some reason and that never happens to me until that day. So I didn't install it! So when you told me about them I went back and.... well its installed now, and FNIS was used, and its installed now in the SL Anim Loader in my game and THAT FIXED THE PROBLEM! Its all working fine now!

Note: It is a bit confusing btw when the soft requirement is named BodySearchAnimsSE or LE and then the explanation just under that says to install a mod patch named Sexlab Body Search Animation LE, so my brain immediately thought BOTH of these were One and the Same Thing! Just letting the Mod Author know that others might have done the same because that IMO IS Very confusing!

Yes, it is confusing.  It's kind of backwards, because the "optional" search animation is probably the main thing that most players want from the mod.  Just to be clear, the hidden pocket animation is not a hard requirement.  I don't use it.  What is necessary is that if you use it and you're on LE, you must replace it with the LE version or you'll get FNIS errors.  If you don't want that that animation, don't unzip those files from the download (or, if you prefer, delete them from the zip file after you download it).

Apart from normal search, guards never try to harass PC during the search. Is this normal ? or do I need to tweak something in MCM?

or do I need to download animations too (btw, the link is unavailable) because I can't find any animations registered to the SLAL's MCM. (Yes, I did run FNIS after I installed the main mod.)

Look at the posts just before yours to see how another player got it working.  The download links under Soft Requirements for BodySearch anims have the search animations.  The links work.

My bad, I'm so sorry about assuming the links don't work.  Maybe because I was browsing the file while not logged in, but on the other Chrome tab logged in already when replying the forum, also didn't see SE anim version in the soft requirements sorry again.

Prison overhaul doesn't quite interact stable with this when your already arrested guards will still try to search me even if I'm pilloried or being escorted by another guard. Any suggestions? I've tried turning off force greet but guards still wanna search!
