Hm, maybe. For now japanese takes precedence, i'm making fair amounts of progress in it as well. When i'm done with japanese, then i'll consider german. I can't do both at once. That'll be achtung!

Note that a Gay Best Friend can often get away with calling a his female friend a Slut or Whore in that instance as there is considered to be no real judgement there. Straight male friends should use such terms with caution

 

Prostitute - Someone (most commonly a woman) who sells sexual services for payment. Prostitute is both noun and verb - So a woman or man can  be described as prostituting themselves. Prostitution is the act of selling sex but the phrase can be used to mean any sort of activity that achieves a gain.

E.G. An indi band could be said to have prostituted themselves to a large corporate music label to get better sales and exposure.

 

Whore - A prostitute. This is what a Whore is and was what people called them in earlier times. Still used to this affect today as less than polite way of describing them. It's recently become an insult as a step up from Slut.

 

Nympho - Technically someone that suffers with Nymphomania but generally a more complimentary way of describing someone promiscuous, even tho it actually suggests a mental illness/condition. The guy that did get to sleep with the Promiscuous girl in the first example would probably describe her as a nympho.

 

The slave tats thing is just using degrading and humiliating terms so while Slut has never meant whore/prostitute it is a way of humiliating the victim.

What you are describing are naturists or nudists. Basically people that feel that being naked is natural and not something to be ashamed of. However they do still abide by the countries laws and would do their best not to be seen by members of the public who might take offense.
Pretty much any beach in Bulgaria (that isn't a western tourist trap) will have an area, normally at the far end, where clothing is considered optional. It is rare that anyone sunbathes naked in the main parts of beaches but I have seen it happen and no one seemed to bat an eyelid at it.

 

Exhibitionists go out of their way to be seen naked, which, in your earlier photo examples, I would describe the last two as, the last one especially. The first photo isn't even in public at all. The second is a professional model who may or may not get off on being seen naked but is undoubtedly being paid for that shoot and the last is what I would call an exhibitionist. Bottomless only, public road, posing for the photo (looks to be touching herself but the picture seems to have been take with a root vegetable) while a member of the public appears to be approaching.

In this situation the roles are sort of reversed for how the public views men and women. The women in these photos would probably be politely told to dress and/or move on. Not sure if that would be the same in all countries but certainly in the UK.

Example: I sunbathe naked in my garden, with high fences. My female neighbor looks out her upstairs window and sees me. She can call the police and I would most likely be cautioned (and charged if it continued)

If you ask me, using these words on someone (man or woman) is more degrading for yourself because commenting on a person based on their sex life is highly unbecoming and inappropriate. I prefer to attack someone based on something wrong they did rather than their personal affairs unless we are somehow involved.

That makes two of us. Seriously, i've met more women who aren't "whores" and "sluts" that were absolutely insufferable to be around than strippers and porn girls who were like that. Usually around the third date you start to see what's really there under the curtains, you start seeing what they're really like once the initial rush is gone. I believe the more someone pretends to be holy or pure the more bitchy they are once you get to know them because that mindset in itself is narcissistic. Lots of women actually shame other women like that more than men funnily enough, they've got this conflict going on with each other, trying to one up one another on who's not a whore or something.

 

You get this kind of mindset within porn girls and strippers way less because a lot of them are already aware of what they are doing and what kind of unjust stigma is attached to it. It has a humbling effect and they tend to be far more grounded and self aware.

 

And, "whores" and "sluts" are far more skilled in the bed as well. I've had "hardcore pure girls" who were an absolute snoozefest in the bed. Many of them just lay down like a doll and look at you, as if you're supposed to do everything. Seriously, that's fucking boring. I'd rather be with the supposed whores because the sex is fun and competitive. With more open girls you can try more kinky stuff too and always try new things. Not much with prostitutes i guess because usually they are looking for it to end really quickly, it's more transnational in nature. UK, as a whole, has a different (backward) view on nudity in that it is always of a sexual nature.

The designated nudist beaches here are (or at least were) frequented by the sorts of people you would expect for a nation that is has a very repressed attitude to nudity and sex. In other words, if you were female you would likely be greeted by some unpleasant sights and behaviour.

 

I don't have much experience about other beaches and the like in Europe but can say the attitudes in Bulgaria are much more liberal. Thailand, however, I don't think I even saw anyone so much as topless girl on the beaches (Patong and Karon) that I visited. I was there off-season tho so maybe that is just down to a lack of Europeans.

yes, in many countries is nudity = sexuality, but not in Germany, here it is a concept of freedom, not to be hidden by annoying clothes.

The way I've understood the terms is:

• Prostitute - a type of sex worker
• Whore - a derogatory and offensive term for a sex worker
• Nymphomaniac - a woman who is obsessed with and addicted to sex (not simply enjoying it often but dangerously obsessed)
• Slut - a derogatory and highly offensive term for a woman who enjoys and perhaps is open about enjoying sex

Gonna just inject my opinion here: I really hope the attitude towards sex work improves and that more countries protect sex workers under the law. The derogatory terms used to insult women based on their perceived (or even real) sexual promiscuity need to disappear.

These things are all relative/arbitrary terms.

My definitions of them are as follows though:

Prostitute: Job. Paid sex, fairly self explanatory at that point but it's just a sex worker, it's a dry term because it's a freelance job basically.

Whore: A term meant to mean the same as prostitute it's just older and has more kick to it because of how it's pronounced. Same thing though, just meant to be more insulting.

Slut: Promiscuous woman with low standards but in the same "insult level" as faggot, I.E. more of a casual joke now, I use it with my friends and call myself a slut constantly too, kinda interchangeable with whore sometimes but a whore is looking to gain something from it where a slut just wants sex really.

Nympho: Medically it's a nymphomaniac, someone with an unhealthily high libido or sex drive, unlike the previous two it's a "mania" meaning there's a dependency to it, you need to fuck. Outside of that it's used as a more positive term for a very sexually active woman, but it's just someone that needs to have sex very frequently, in casual terms it's just someone that really really enjoys sex as opposed to having sex casually a lot like a slut.

 

These are all words though and their meanings vary between people, cultures, and time and are mostly synonymous except for prostitute.

A slut could just be a playful woman who gets around but only with specific people she likes, or a woman who fucks just about anyone for no reason.

You could add tramp to this list too, along with a lot of others but they end up blurring together. Just 4 of them and I struggled to define them even internally.

Also I sorta approached this from the insult angle where all of these words as I mentioned above can be casual things people use without insulting intent just as a joke like among friends or whatever, they definitely don't have to be insults but meanings of words change over time.
