Jrandy Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 here is my mod load out as well as the exact problems I'm having, sorry a lot is happening this month. ScreenShot5.bmpScreenShot5.bmp ScreenShot2.bmp ScreenShot3.bmp ScreenShot4.bmp
Jrandy Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 also this is an unrelated question but might be a similar problem for a mod someone might know how to fix, if its ok to ask that too i will after confirmation, thanks!

Again, I wouldn't modify your load order during an ongoing save game, as the game calls objects, and just about anything really, with an ID, which changes depending in what order they load, for example, Dawnguard is 003 in your case, etc, even just adding, for example, my addon somewhere changes the load order and numbers, so it is best to just load newer stuff last for ongoing games, which can get a bit messy. You can always just load it wherever for new games though, and in case, it has happened that I modified the load order, even drastically, during an ongoing game and had no issue that I could see, so really, with many things Skyrim-related, each game is different, and the more I mod it, the more I realize it, even savegame to savegame (which keeps things interesting in my opinion XD ) About the pictures you sent for your issue, it reminds me of GuruSR's issue in appearance, but going the other way instead of inside the mesh like in their case, I noticed that your character is wearing devious devices while this happens, have you tried if the mod works without them wearing those? I know that DD has support for belly nodes and all of that, could they be interfering in some way? I myself tried the mod with and without devious devices while testing and they worked without incident on my end. About other issues, if I or someone else is not the creator fo the mod, our ability to help will be limited as users and by our knowledge of how the mod works, but we can still try to help no problem :3 I am unsure if there are any rules regarding speaking of other mods on another mod's topic, but as this is my mod, I say go right ahead! :3

Temporary500 Posted October 27, 2020 Author Posted October 27, 2020 13 hours ago, GuruSR said: <snip> If the mesh has issues on its top side (belly side), that is because the original COSIO mesh also has the option to show the belly moving when the penis mesh collides with it, but as the male mesh, still unsure why, does not react to it even though the bone nodes are the same, the vagina mesh is the only one moving/reacting, thus making this type of issue. I tried to fix it when first making this mod, but found out that the more I would cut of the original mesh, the more likely it was to have its weights screw up, so I had to leave a bit of the belly side to it to make it work seamlessly. I tried to make it smaller, or at least less prominent, but it would still destroy the collisions, and as the collisions are my main interest with this mesh, I decided to leave it as is. If it bothers you a lot I can try to remove the belly part though, but again, it changed, and broke, how the mesh reacted when I did it, and while I am more experienced now, thus I might actually make it work this time, it could also just result in the same result. Your choice, really :3 I wouldn't mind to, at least, try, so do feel free to ask EDIT: Before I forget again, when you take screens, can you take them from the side if I need to see how the mesh sticks out? I can barely see the issue from the front, and could just recognize it because of the slight variations in lighting I am noticing on the front of the mesh. I wish it were simpler to install so less could go wrong when an idiot like me tries to install it I wish it was easier too, it is just a matter of nodes and saying "hey, react to this collision", but it is a lot harder when mods specifically ask for females and female meshes only to be used You are not an idiot, by the way, it is just very convoluted. I had to spend hours doing stuff I dislike, plenty of times, just to get something I did not want out of my game, and that was just the start of all of this, and, I have found, unless you understand the language the program/s are speaking (which plenty of times changes depending on the person that writes it), it never gets any easier, and if it does, it is just a matter of time before the next mumbo jumbo to decode to get even something as simple as a new NPC/creature to disappear from where it never was. About your issue, I can give you my files (ready to use) if it can help. I have found (thanks to helping GuruSR ) that the SOS Addon alone still requires the skeleton files, so that might be part of the issue. If one has all the files, it is just a matter to drag and drop them in the Data folder, nothing more :3 About the future, unless modders decide to make one skeleton/configuration for both males and females instead of two, or add things to both skeletons/configurations instead of just to one, and hard code it so that only that one will work with their mods, it won't get any easier

The files are only the required ones to make the mesh as compatible as possible with the SOS body, so, if someone else wants them, be sure to download the base mod first (49 for the 49, 52 for the 52 versions) SOS Body Slot 49.7z SOS Body Slot 52.7z I have not made an addon version as the slot 52 version would be the same as the addon, so one would just need to place the mesh inside the SOS Addon \Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\SOS\BodyMann

im-a-carrot-lol Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Hello! First of all Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker ?. Anyway, I've been looking for this kind of mod and found yours, and it looks really good. But I have some problem with it. When I install the normal version the only problem is just odd texture that doesn't really blend well with my character, and then I tried the SOS add-on one but it has this weird gap on it. See uploaded images for examples. Do you know why it happens? Is it simply because my character is too fat? Also, I use SAM with your skeleton file. Thanks. Spoiler Sorry for the camera quality pictures, for some unknown reason my screenshot does not working.

I tried my hand at tweaking this sort of stuff to fit the thing as best as I could, but to no avail (always seams/loses color, this sort of stuff), I really wish I could do more on this, but I lack this sort of artistic skill. About the gap, that is because the mesh is, still, reacting to female nodes only (that is mostly why the vagina works, from what I could understand), and the belly node does not react to SAM's belly nodes because of it. I tried to modify it to react to weight change and the like, but it just keeps refusing to work as intended, and my testing, finally, broke my project down when I managed to attach the belly node from the other skeleton (I must have touched weights or something). Another user here posted a link to this mod: https://vectorplexus.com/files/file/405-sam-vagina/ I have no idea how it works compared to mine, but I can see that it seems to work alright with the fattier SAM mesh (no gap like in the screenshots that I could notice) so, in case, you could also try that one out. In case, my mod is not a new mesh, it is the vagina from the COSIO female body so whateveer you might see that mesh do, this mod does also, I just modeled it as best I could to a male mesh and that was that :3 The SAM mod I linked also seems to have texture compatibility, but again, I have not personally tried it myself, so I cannot help with it (I might do so in the future though, it is always nice to try new stuff :3 )

If you mean because of the gap, if you want I can see if I can make a custom mesh of the mod just for the Samuel body type, so that it scales to fit it (I could make it weight dependant, _0 and _1 body weight, with the _1 , maximum, body weight being the one that will have been adapted to Samuel). Do let me know :3 While it is always a risk to modify this mesh, the gap you showed in your screens should just require the belly part, that I cannot seem to remove without incident, to be blended to the bottom of the SAM belly, should be rather easy to do, and while I am it, I could also check better about the stuff for the belly weighting and all :3

About the cutting away, I can try as well, but what you described is exactly, at least in essence, what happens to me when I try to cut away more of the mesh I already cut out, I can just move it around now. Also, about 3D programs and all that, I found that OutfitStudio is the best I can find compared to other stuff I found, Blender is something, yes, (also free), but I get continual export errors or corruptions when working with those things, so I only use Nifskope and OutfitStudio since the last issue (which deleted my hard-try attempt, which lasted over an hour of tweaking, and while an hour or so might not seem like much to some more hardcore people, I have very sensitive to the light eyes, and even 15 minutes to the screen is too much for me, so I have make do in some way, which is not fun). Also, about what version of SAM you are using, that is a big help to know, as, while they are not with issues with the mesh and should both be working as intended with it, it is imperative for me to know if I am to modify something for it, just in case there are differences, as the Samuel is more of a slider than a mesh, from what I remember finding when searching for them in the Data folder, and the HighPoly version could mesh differently than the normal one when taking on the Samuel shape, so thank you for the info! In case, I will do my best to work on it as soon as I can, but I am not feeling alright enough to trust myself with this type of work, so hopefully I will be able to work on it today night/evening (09;24 AM here at the time of writing). Now, there are two versions I made in this archive file, one makes it so that when the character is of 100 weight, they will get the Samuel mesh variant of this mod's mesh equipped (morphing to that, not just suddenly gets equipped, it works like armor scaling). The other version is a standalone mesh of this mod that can be equipped instead of the normal one (still included), so that you can give the Samuel specific mesh to those that need it, and keep the others using the standard version. Once again, do let me know how it performs on your end, I fear tearing because I had to mess around with the tummy part, and that has always given me spike issues (the one I cannot even remove from the mesh), and do let me know, if it works, if you'd like anything more done/added with this or stuff of the sort. I am still pretty sick at the moment, so I could have missed/mismatched something, I even took a break after I was done and re-did the work just to be sure I didn't miss anything, but I could have still missed something, so again, do let me know if something doesn't work/fucks up :3 Just to be clear as day, also, this archive only adds new files to the normal mod, so it still needs the main mod to work (for this I used the slot 49 version, do let me know if the slot 52 would be a better choice/works best). The new item, for the added item version, is also called Bodypart, but has Samuel written before it, cannot miss it :3 Forgive me if I wrote any redundancy, but I tend to do that when I get a bit delirious with pain, I hope what I wrote is clear enough to be read! :3 Samuel 100.7z

Now, there are two versions I made in this archive file, one makes it so that when the character is of 100 weight, they will get the Samuel mesh variant of this mod's mesh equipped (morphing to that, not just suddenly gets equipped, it works like armor scaling). I think you're forgetting something. The normal/ equipable version is fine as it is, the one with the gap is the sos add-on version. So, I tried replacing the sos add-on mesh files with the new one you provided, but it doesn't work its completely gone . Maybe you could try using the full body mesh like that one from vectorplexus.com? but instead use the standard poly files. and then cut everything else but the genitals part? Or you could just slap the genitals part into the SAM body files and call it a day ?. I tried both methods myself using Blender (with my limited knowledge of course), but it gives me an error when I export the files to .nif. Then I gave up lol. I don't know how to do those thing in OutfitStudio if that even possible. In fact I don't even know the proper program for this kinda things. Anyway, don't force yourself. Your health comes first my dude. Get well soon! P.S. I also apologize if I don't make any sense, or its confusing you. I got a little headache as I'm writing this ?.
