For whatever reason however, it can't find a neighbouring empire (maybe because none exists) and so it simply leaves the space blank.

I have 2 neighbors and the game map registers them as neighbors. So I assume its calling a 'void'ed method.
TX19 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 (edited) Right, I'm done the districts added by Lustful Void are gone and in their place are nice shiny Zones balancing wasn't really my concern so expect these to be stronger than the base game, especially as these zones can now go over base game districts oh and Lithia, feel free to take and use as you please. drag and drop into your mods folder, when it asks to replace the 11 files hit yes and your done. EDIT: fixed Sexologist Zone having no available building Lustful Districts.rar Edited February 12 by TX19 Fixed File 10
Va2 Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I'm having a weird bug where LV traits appear to do anything none of the bonus appear to work, I've tried with just LV so it's not a mod conflict and it's just trait that don't work tech give the bonus without problem. Anyone else having this bug ? and hopefully a way to fix it ? 1

The LV buildings are no longer in the game, but even after researching Gem Incubation Insight and Generalized Sexology Studies I am not seeing any new districts available to build? The only specializations available are the normal ones. Do I need to do something else? Are there other prerequisites?

That's strange, do me a favour make a save and then open the console then type: research_all_technologies then check if you can build the Zones, if you can then it's a tech requirement you don't have yet. Another thing you can do is start a new game with the tentacle world origin or sexopolis origin if the zones work for that then it should work for the baseline planets. I'm thinking you don't have the technology needed as in order to build gym incubation districts, for example, you need the vanilla material tech that unlocks district specialisation. one last thing is to check the patch is installed properly. this requires the original Lustful Void 0.7.8.3 (4.0+).zip. when you install my patch it is a copy and replace to those files. If you didn't have to overwrite 11 files in order to install this then you probably haven't installed it correctly, as this isn't a separate mod. Edited February 19 by TX19

So, I did the research_all_technologies and that didn't work. Started a fresh game under sexopolis origin, and it looked good! Decided to test it on a hunch, and colonized one of those planets in the home system from the sexopolis spawn and- lo and behold- no special districts on the regular colony. Oof.
Schmee Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Yikes. Alright, so I considered a mod conflict and went through my load order to see if I could prune or change things. Found the No Scrolls On My Buildings Plz That's Vandalism overwrite and realized there'd be no more need for it. Turned that off, started a fresh game. Lithia and Snuggle Enforcement Zone specializations available immediately on desert capital. *sigh* I guess I'm just stupid. False alarm. I'll update if it's still causing issues, but I think that was the culprit. 2
noma2456 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Currently, the 'Addictive Cum' trait is unavailable for all species except Tentacles. This is because the 'Genetic Resequencing' tradition, which is a prerequisite, was removed with the release of the Biogenesis DLC. I tried to manually update the tradition name in the mod's trait text file to match the current version, but it still doesn't work. It seems an official fix is needed for compatibility with the new DLC.

SirSwordsalot Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Time for the inevitable question. Did 4.3 break this? Or is the existing version perfectly able to function within 4.3's many changes. 5
Popular Post Lithia<3 Posted March 25 Author Popular Post Posted March 25 Hey! I have been very busy updating lv since the 4.3 release, but going through the files made me realize that the core framework of the mod badly needs a full rework. It’s going to be a lot of work, but it will be worth it in the end. With what I’ve already fixed, the mod “feels” a lot cleaner. For me anyway lol There’s still lots to do, so I'm not sure exactly how long it will take, but I am actively working on it! I am also using ai to keep myself a bit more organized, mainly to track the things I update since I always forget It also makes it easy to generate patch notes! So I made interim patch notes for those interested in what has already been done. It was generated by an ai in the end, though, so it only knows what I’ve told it so far. If this is something you want me to share now and then as I work on the update, then let me know Also, the current release version of lv does “work” technically. As in it won’t break anything for the most part, for those wondering LV_interim_patch_notes_audit_progress_01.txt 49

Your traits are already OP enough and you can gain like 20+ of them. No choice/gameplay involved, just get them all. Best ones AND no negative ones really needed.
SangriusDarkblade Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Looking forward to the overhaul. Just chiming in to let you know that the mod still has an audience! 1
hector235 Posted March 27 Posted March 27 For some reason the lewd leaders don't show up, just the tentacles. How do I fix this? I am playing in the most recent patch
Piksha Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Hi! Please reset the mod's discord invitation, as the other links are dead or outdated! Thank you! 1
DNL Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Hallo, Happy Easter! After rerolling the techs so many times, I vibe-coded an event to show whether you have the requirements for the techs. Just 2 files, one in the localization and the other in events. Lustful Void.rar 2

Qwertyuiop79 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I don't know if this is just me, but I noticed that no one is engaging in wars with each other. Even purifiers, devourers, and similar empires aren't fighting.
tommyboyx595 Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I haven't revisited stellaris in a couple of years, the thread here seems to have some updates to make LV compatible, to various different successes. To whomever is active on this thread, is it better to roll back the game version to match the last update LV, attempt the patches, or just wait for an update?

For me, this is one of the best patches. Most of the mods from 4.* work fine; most of the time, they are only not balanced. There is way less lag than 4.2 (still laggy on the end game). And now you have to think more about what you are doing with the number of colonies, navy, and systems (I recommend stacking empire size modifiers). Also, megastructures are relevant again. 4

When she incorporated MASSA she fixed a lot of my old code, but I don't think she ever got around a lot of the event text itself. And I had a lot of trouble getting the game to pull country/leader names. So chances are if you ever come across event text with something janky like that in it, its probably my fault.
Deathclaw Cock Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Great mod, needlessly complicated, and full of a lot of features which after a thousand hours begin to feel more like frustrating bloat than meaningful additions. A lite version without the bloat would be great - I do enjoy the events, traits and flavor for the most part.
