Slammer64 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I just came to the forum and I noticed this popup on my AVG, thought I might bring it to the Admin's attention.
phfor Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 And my Chrome has all of a sudden started request to run Java on here. Seems suspicious...
Ark of Truth Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Hmmmmm....so that's Avast and now AVG complaining. It's most likely one of the ads.....again.
DoctaSax Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Nod32 as well, as posted under Tech Support. The things's called html/IFrame.B.Gen.
jancicc Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes has no reports, VirusTotal shows that Avira is only one detecting malware...
PsychoMachina Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I have Nod32 and it blocked me from accessing LL. I kept getting these warnings. Strange, early this morning I was able to login.
nonusnomeni Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 my FF was enforce install of java runscript enviro...some 1.9 i think 1h ago when i was visit LL
GrimReaper Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 [video=youtube] Posting the same video someone posted a few minutes earlier in another thread with the same topic?
Menesh Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I'm getting virus messages from Norton 360, too. Web Attack: Exploit Toolkit Webside 5 Web Attack: Malicious Toolkit Website 9 Both from fg34df.ipq.co
bjornk Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Disable Java in your browser immediately. Unfortunately, I didn't suspect anything and allowed Java to run and I got infected with a trojan type of thing. Was somewhat easy to clean though. It was an exe with some japanese sounding name, \dettarisatqo.exe to be more specific. Also another (perhaps the same) trojan was 1JFUWEIF.EXE and when activated it kept trying to connect some address (I saw it in peerblock logs) and kept writing something to registy (HKCU/Windows/Current Version/Run/regedit). Won't bother to write all the details but clearly the website is infected.
Captain Cobra Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Posting the same video someone posted a few minutes earlier in another thread with the same topic? He's posted both of those videos.
GrimReaper Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 He's posted both of those videos. http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=14180&pid=293520#pid293520 No. The user deathparade posted it first as you can see here. Anyway, this is nothing to make a fuss about but it just seems a tad strange. It's like you hear someone telling a joke and then you turn around and tell the very same joke you just heard to the same audience. Whatevs.
Sarnaath Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I use Kaspersky and today that started popping up messages that it was blocking a trojan every time I load a LL page.
Ark of Truth Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 lol why is everyone in such a mood over a stupid video? If you like I could troll the thread correctly to give you something to complain about Besides if any you read the rules you would know what duplicate threads get locked then deleted This thread won't get locked and deleted because it was the first thread up about the relevant subject.
Ark of Truth Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Install NoScript, Firefox and AdBlock Plus and will about 95% of your problems will go away.
deathparade Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Follow Ark of Truth's logic and there is no copyright on jokes... And how exactly is this trolling? Trolling is making people believe something that isn't true (or some shit) Now just keep your panties on install Adblock Plus and NoScript and you'll be safe! (but probably not for work)
fejeena Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Is this a Virus or Video thread? My AVG Anti-Virus(Edition 2013) says Exploit:Nuclear Exploit Kit (type1945)
Ark of Truth Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 It's a "OMG I HAS A VIRUS WARNING!!!" thread. The video is for laughs.
Slammer64 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 Sheesh, if I had known that folks would have been arguing over a video, I never would have said a damn thing.
GrimReaper Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Guys. Really. No one is arguing and no one is in a bad mood. I just found it odd that Ark of Truth posted the same joke on the same topic (but in a different thread) someone else told just a few minutes ago. That is, in my humble opinion, indeed odd behavior. I wanted to comment that. Nothing more, really. Don't know what there is to misunderstand and I feel I typed way too much to explain a simple comment.
Sorceress99 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I'm getting virus messages from Norton 360' date=' too. Web Attack: Exploit Toolkit Webside 5 Web Attack: Malicious Toolkit Website 9 Both from fg34df.ipq.co [/quote'] Same here. Norton screaming like a banshee. VIRUS! I think LL has been hacked. Make sure you have good virus software. Never had a problem untill LL was offline a few days ago. Now I'm attacked everytime I come here. And those two are serious.
tsuki no mori Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I have AVG giving me the warning pretty everywhere I go on the site. Tried both Firefox and Chrome.
Cezul Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I'm using AVG and i'm getting the same reports as OP. Every page I load up from here AVG catches it.
beta000 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Right now Avast is quite but chrome is wanting me to run Java which is not going to happen.
